Xbox Game Pass titles for August 2022 revealed

Xbox has unveiled the latest selection of games coming to Game Pass, including a new Ubisoft title and a couple of Day 1 releases. Let’s take a look at what’s coming to the service this month.

Xbox Game Pass is arguably the best subscription-based service in gaming right now. The service offers players a selection of top-tier titles for a fixed monthly fee. Available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Windows PC and supported devices via the cloud, it has garnered universal popularity.

This month introduced another Ubisoft title along with a couple of highly anticipated releases debuting on Day 1. Let’s take a look at what’s coming to Game Pass this month.

New games coming to Xbox Game Pass in the first half of August 2022

One of the biggest additions to Game Pass this month is undoubtedly Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Wildlands. Ubisoft has been slowly adding its titles to Game Pass since earlier this year.

After Rainbow Six Siege, Rainbow Six Extraction, For Honor, Assassin’s Creed Origins and Far Cry 5, Ghost Recon Wildlands is the latest arrival. Released back in 2017, the game is often considered to be one of the best in the series.

Another highly anticipated game that is making its day 1 debut on Game Pass is the sequel to Two Point Hospital and Two Point Campus. Touted to receive a lot of plaudits, it will be perfect for a casual playthrough.

With that being said, let’s take a look at all of the titles coming to Game Pass in the first half of August.

Aspect of Justice, Wrathbone Invasion, bug fixes, and more

The Diablo Immortal season 3 update is finally live. The patch has brought with it a new Battle Pass, Aspect of Justice, as well as the Wrathbone Invasion daily event.

The Hungering Moon limited-time event will also be making a return, along with a plethora of bug fixes that will be enhancing multiple aspects of the game.

Diablo Immortal fans looking for a detailed description of the patch can look up Blizzard’s official website. However, for a brief overview, here are all the major highlights.

Battle Pass: Aspects of Justice

  • New season 3 Battle pass Aspect of Justice is now live.
  • Empowered Battle Pass: Includes all rank rewards from the free standard Battle Pass but also unlocks an Empowered track that provides additional rewards at each rank. Plus, players will receive the gilded Aspect of Justice Weapon cosmetic, unlocked at rank one, and the radiant Aspect of Justice Armor cosmetic, unlocked at rank 40.
  • Collector’s Empowered Battle Pass: Gives players access to all rank rewards and cosmetics from the Empowered Battle Pass. Plus, the Aspect of Justice Avatar Frame, Portal cosmetic, and a ten-rank boost, all provided immediately after upgrading.
  • The Season Three Battle Pass only runs until September 1, at 2:59 am server time

Daily Event: Wrathbone Invasion

  • Hells is underway—the Wrathborne, with their armies in tow, have besieged Sanctuary. At 12:00 pm server time each day, daring adventurers can band together to repel hordes of bloodthirsty elite demons.
  • If the minions of the Burning Hells fail to claim the zone they’re attacking, Gorgothra will seek to finish the job herself, sending an empowered echo of her likeness to clean up any resistance.

Limited-time event: Hungering Moon

  • Fulfilling the moon’s demands will earn players Moonslivers, which can be traded for Blessings. After acquiring seven Blessings players will have curried enough goodwill with the moon to trade these in for a random reward.

Bug fixes

Cycle of Strife:

  • Fixed an issue that would prevent players from receiving the Shadows intro quest if their clan converted to Shadows while they were offline.
  • Fixed an issue in Shadow War that would allow the Immortal to move in and out of the designated arena.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from signing up for the Shadow Lottery and displayed the number of participants as zero.

Events:

  • Fixed an issue in Hungering Moon that prevented players from completing quests that require obtaining Legendary and Rare gear.

Gameplay:

  • Fixed an issue that would cause players to get stuck during the Prison of the Scorpion quest.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented party invitations from being sent to players while in certain areas of Bilefen.

  • Fixed an issue that would cause the screen to be covered in black blocks when selecting the High quality option for Shadows in the Settings Menu.

Legendary Gem:

UI:

  • Fixed an issue that would allow overworld map pins to be visible inside the dungeon map.

Fortnite XP glitches offer a quick and easy way to level up the Battle Pass. They allow players to gain a lot of XP by simply joining the Creative mode and performing a few actions.

The best thing about these bugs is that players can gain XP passively. After joining the map and interacting with a few objects, they can simply leave the game on and gain thousands of XP without doing anything.

In this article, we will reveal the latest Fortnite XP glitch, how to perform it and how much XP you can gain from it. Please keep in mind that using glitches can get your account suspended by Epic Games, so use them at your own risk.

Fortnite XP glitch allows a great way to passively earn XP

Popular YouTuber GKK recently released another video that reveals a new Fortnite XP glitch.The content creator is well known for posting various bugs in the popular video game, from XP-boosting variants to game-breaking ones.

To use the latest XP glitch, you will have to enter the Creative mode and enter this map code: 7018-7683-0020. When joining the map, you will have to wait 10 minutes before using any XP buttons, so please be patient.

After 10 minutes have passed, you need to interact with the green button that is found inside the tree in the northwest corner of the map. When you interact with it, you will be teleported to a new area called the XP Shop. In this area, you will have to interact with another green button. It is labeled AFK XP button and is found in the room with tomato heads.

Right after interacting with the AFK XP button, you need to interact with the big button in the middle that will teleport you back to the main area.

This time, don’t go inside the tree, but rather behind it. When you get there, you will see a wink sign in the corner; this is where you need to use any emote from your inventory. Once done, you will be able to interact with the invisible button that will teleport you to another secret area.

This area is where you will finally start getting benefits from the Fortnite XP glitch. It has two invisible buttons, in two opposite corners of the room, that reward players with a lot of XP.

The gains vary from one player to another. Some have reported gaining thousands of XP per minute, while some acquire just a few hundred or thousand. Either way, this is a great way to passively level up the Battle Pass.

Does Epic Games ban players for using Fortnite XP glitches?

Using glitches is against the game’s Terms and Conditions. However, Epic Games doesn’t usually ban players who use Fortnite XP glitches. Despite this, it’s important to mention that there is still a risk of going after them.

If you do intend to use the Fortnite XP glitch, it should be kept as a secondary method of leveling up at best. Your primary method should always be playing matches, either in Creative or Battle Royale game mode.

By playing matches and actively earning XP, you might not have to worry about having your account banned or suspended.

Mizkif reveals that his Discord server with more than 55,000 members was hacked

Twitch star Matthew “Mizkif” shared the harrowing news that his Discord server with more than 55,000 members was hacked recently, which led to thousands of fans’ accounts getting compromised.

The streamer uploaded a 12-minute video on YouTube titled i got hacked. In the video, I explained the matter in-depth and requested that his fans of him on the Discord server immediately reset their passwords and credentials to secure their accounts.

Mizkif explains how his Discord server was hacked

The streaming sensation revealed that he received an urgent call from his manager Nick “syn4ack” stating that “something terrible” had happened. Nick told him that Twitch content creator Lacari’s Discord account had been hacked.

Matthew mentioned that Lacari owned the entire Discord server and had administrative privileges:

“So Lacari had Mizkif role, which means he could do absolutely everything, and he was ahead of all the admins, and I never thought Lacari of all people would possibly ruin my entire career.”

One True King’s co-founder spoke about what the hacker ended up doing to his Discord server and added:

“A few hours before I wake up, the person who hacked Lacari’s account starts to go on my Discord and starts changing a bunch of roles around, and my mods were kind of suspicious. They were thinking Lacari’s maybe drunk. They were thinking that someone was messing with it, some friend of his, and he (the hacker) adds a bot!”

Matthew said that the bot spammed hundreds of messages about another Discord server:

“The admin gives this bot full admin privilege and basically says, ‘You can do whatever the f**k you want. You control the entire server.’ That bot unleashed on my server and spammed hundreds and hundreds of times, letting everyone know about a new server that you can join called Night Bar, which got 1,000 additional people in it once they spammed it in my Discord.”

The hacker on the other server known as Night Bar claimed that they had partnered with Mizkif and would be gifting Discord Nitro Classic subscriptions to their members upon reaching more than 55,000 members.

The Austin, Texas native pleaded with his fans to change their password if they had clicked on the malicious link, since the link apparently stole a unique Discord token from any account that clicked on it.

To resolve the issue, Mizkif’s manager told him to ban Lacari from the Discord server and continued the conversation further and said:

“And I was like, I got to ban Lacari. Boom, banned the guy. Next, I banned the bot, and we were able to fix the server. I’ve been non-stop trying to call Lacari at this point because Syn4ack’s like, “Dude, please get him on the phone. He needs to change his password immediately.” Because if your token gets taken, you essentially need to change your password to reset the token.”

In the end, Mizkif was able to get in touch with Lacari and told him to change his password immediately. Lacari then changed his password from him, and everything went back to normal as the Discord server was reset by the moderators.
