Anne Heche, Ellen DeGeneres’ ex-girlfriend, severely burned after LA crash

Anne Heche was involved in a fiery car crash on Friday that has left her “severely burned” and “intubated” in the hospital, TMZ reports.

the vanished actress, 53, was reportedly driving her blue Mini Cooper down a suburban street in Los Angeles around noon when she crashed into the garage of an apartment complex, the new york post reports.

According to the outlet, bystanders tried to help Heche exit the vehicle, but she allegedly backed up and drove off before crashing into another home where her car became “engulfed” in flames.

It appears that Heche may have been under the influence of alcohol, as a bottle with a red cap was seen in the car’s cup holder shortly before the accident. However, the Los Angeles Police Department could not immediately be reached.

Aerial shots of video from the accident obtained by Fox11 show smoke billowing out of the home in which she crashed into.

Sources told TMZ that Heche is currently intubated in the hospital, but “expected to live.”

“Her condition prevents doctors from performing any tests to determine if she was driving under the influence of alcohol,” the outlet also reported.

Heche, known for her high-profile romance with Ellen DeGeneres in the ’90s, has spoken openly about her previous battle with substance abuse.

“I drink. I smoked. I did drugs. I had sex with people. I did anything I could to get the shame out of my life, ”she told ABC News in 2020, adding that her choices were a result of her painful childhood that stemmed from being sexually abused by her father, Donald Heche.

“I’m not crazy,” the Six Days Seven Nights star also said at the time. “But it’s a crazy life. I was raised in a crazy family and it took 31 years to get the crazy out of me.”

Reps for Heche could not immediately be reached.

Ioan Gruffudd obtains restraining order against Alice Evans: report

Ioan Gruffudd has reportedly been granted a three-year restraining order against estranged wife Alice Evans – amid claims she harassed him and his new girlfriend, Bianca Wallace, on social media.

“Ioan had no choice but to up his legal fight over Alice,” a source claimed to the Daily Mail in an article published Tuesday.

“She had become increasingly volatile and seemingly intent on destroying his career with her character assassination. He hopes this will put an end to it.”

Gruffudd, 48, was reportedly in attendance inside the Los Angeles court to witness the domestic violence restraining order granted, though Evans, 54, did not make an appearance.

According to the filing, Gruffudd claims Evans “has used her social media accounts to continue to harass, threaten, and disturb the peace of both me and my girlfriend, Bianca Wallace.”

Gruffudd requested that Evans not be allowed to post any harassing messages about him or his girlfriend to social media or to share any text messages between the two of them, his girlfriend or their kids. He also asked that Evans not contact his employer of him.

the Fantastic Four actor filed for the restraining order in February, seeking to bar Evans from contacting or coming within 100 yards of him and Wallace.

Gruffudd alleged at the time that Evans “repeatedly told me between August 2020 and our separation on January 1, 2021, that if I left her, she would make false public accusations about me, sell false stories about me to the press and destroy me and my career.”

He also claimed that Evans threatened to tell people he had “abused her and her daughters” and that she would “call the police on [him]” if he did not comply with her demands, according to the petitions.

The filing adds that Evans allegedly “threatened to write a fake diary that reflected an abused victim, and to have the diary published; and … threatened to destroy [his] mother.”

Gruffudd further alleged that Evans harassed him on social media and made “hundreds of harassing, abusive and threatening communications by text, voice message, [and] video message” and even sent “threatening emails” to his mum, Margaret Griffiths.

Evans vehemently denied the claims, saying that his complaint was “a ploy to gain some sort of advantage over me in our divorce proceedings.”

Gruffudd, who married Evans in 2007, filed for divorce in March 2021 after Evans claimed via Twitter in January of that year that the actor had abandoned their family.

“My beloved husband/soulmate of 20 years… has announced he is to leave his family, starting next week. Me and our young daughters… are very confused and sad. We haven’t been given a reason except that he ‘no longer loves me,’” she said at the time.

Gruffudd and Wallace then went Instagram-official in October 2021. Months later, in January 2022, Evans posted a scathing message about Wallace on social media.

“She wants to put a stake in my heart. I’ve never seen such a lack of empathy,” Evans said.

In February, Evans asked the court to grant her custody over their two children: Ella, 12, and Elsie, 8. Gruffudd hit back, claiming that Evans would make fun of his “saggy vagina eyes” in front of their children.

Kylie Minogue’s Neighbors finale appearance explained

It was one of the biggest fan questions during Neighbours’ nostalgia-filled 90-minute finale special: why were celebrity guest stars Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan practically mute?

Fans were left baffled by the pair’s brief appearance and their lack of mingling with fellow co-stars in the final episode of the long-running soap last week.

They also had just a handful of lines, with Minogue – arguably Ramsay Street’s most successful export – uttering just five words: “Home, sweet home”, “Jane!” and “Harold!”

Their brief return as beloved on-screen couple Charlene and Scott seemed even more flimsy when compared with Guy Pearce’s return to the soap, which became a major finale storyline.

neighbours’ executive producer Jason Herbison has finally responded to fans’ confusion, telling tv tonight that it all boiled down to timing – and that the pair’s top-secret filming was completed before the rest of the episode.

“Our discussions with Jason (Donovan) and Kylie were always about making a small appearance,” he told the website.

“They didn’t want to overshadow the current cast or make the finale about them. We also filmed their scenes before I’d written the episode, so whatever we filmed had to fit in with that. I hate to see Kylie coping with any criticism – she was nothing short of amazing on the day.”

Last week’s finale saw the original stars Minogue, Donovan and Pearce return alongside a host of other fan favourites, including Margot Robbie, Holly Valance and Natalie Imbruglia.

neighbors actress Christie Whelan revealed that while Robbie’s scenes had to be filmed in Los Angeles, she made a very sweet gesture to her fellow castmates to honor the occasion.

The actress sent 37 bottles of champagne to the Melbourne set so the entire cast and crew could toast the show when filming wrapped.

Almost 900,0000 Aussies tuned in to the tear-jerking final episode of Neighbors last week.

After 37 years on our screens, the soap came to a close as 873,000 watched on across the five metro capital cities, according to ratings published on tv tonight.

Ferris Bueller’s Day Off actress Edie McClurg ‘victim of elder abuse’, court documents claim

The family of US actress Edie McClurg has claimed that she’s a victim of elder abuse.

In court documents seen by The New York Postthe family of the Ferris Bueller’s Day Off star – who lives in Los Angeles and suffers from dementia – alleged that she was abused by a man claiming to be a “long time” friend who reportedly attempted to take her out of California to marry her.

The documents – filed in the Superior Court of California – name the alleged abuser as Michael L. Ramos, who reportedly has been living at the 76-year-old’s LA home since 2017.

According to the documents, Ramos is unemployed and does not pay rent or any expenses and was able to “finagle” his way into McClurg’s life, reportedly attempting to move her out of California in order to marry her despite her dementia diagnosis.

The documents also claim Ramos allegedly “sexually assaulted” McClurg’s current caregiver, with a report filed with the LA Police Department.

In addition, the caregiver was “worried” that Ramos “has or may be assaulting the Conservatee and that she may not even know that it is happening to her,” according to the court filings.

McClurg and Ramos “have never been involved. [in] a romantic relationship,” with the caretaker now concerned he had been sexually abusing the actress.

They reported that he wanted to marry her out of state despite knowing she “lacked capacity” and was living in her home for “companionship,” which the judge of the conservatorship had allowed.

McClurg is under conservatorship and got protection from a judge – as per the documents – who ordered Ramos that he “may not enter into a valid marriage” with McClurg.

The lawyer for the conservatorship – which has been in place since 2019 – is now reportedly asking for an order to remove Ramos from the legal arrangement altogether.

McClurg’s family reportedly went to court in 2019 to ask for the legal arrangement, with claims she had been living with a male companion who was verbally abusive and tried to influence the handling of her estate by reportedly getting her to sign documents.

A 2019 neuropsychological evaluation report obtained by the post said that McClurg “suffers from a progressive, unreversible neurodegenerative disorder”.

The report outlined prior instances in which McClurg was allegedly taken advantage of, including by a married contractor who did work on her home and later reportedly “proceeded to live” in her home, claiming to be “her boyfriend”.

The contractor’s wife allegedly “began calling the patient and even stalking the patient” before McClurg’s cousin, Angelique Cabral, intervened.

The evaluation also noted that McClurg allegedly was “befriended” by Ramos in 2012 or 2013.

Cabral was appointed her guardian and filed the emergency petition on July 14 to remove Ramos from McClurg’s home.

Ramos filed an objection to the emergency motion with his declaration, denying assaulting or sexually abusing either McClurg or her caretaker.

McClurg has more than 200 acting credits and has appeared in iconic films such as Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Plans, Trains and Automobiles and has done voiceover work in The Little Mermaid, A Bug’s Life, Cars and The Rugrats Movie.

Her casting became a controversial topic, with the movie criticized for its “offensive depiction of autism.”

Ziegler addressed the criticism in an interview with independent at the time, saying she understood the outcry.

“But in terms of the dance sequences, I think that’s why Sia chose me to bring the dream world to life. It was all [made] with good intentions and with a good heart.”

Elsewhere on the Bullet Train red carpet, fellow former child star Joey King, who stars in the film, also rocked a plunging gown.

She said: ‘I want to give them a bit of structure. I try to make schedules at home. My daughter Zahara is better at organizing things than I am.’

She has also opened up about how she adopted some of her children, and how exciting and wonderful their journeys have been.

She previously said: ‘Each is a beautiful way of becoming a family. What is important is to speak with openness about all of it and to share. ‘Adoption’ and ‘orphanage’ are positive words in our home. With my adopted children, I can’t speak of pregnancy, but I speak in great detail and love about the journey to find them and what it was like to look in their eyes for the first time. LA County Board of Supervisors proclaims local emergency for monkeypox amid rising cases

LOS ANGELES (CNS) — The Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors ratified a local emergency declaration Tuesday in response to the monkeypox outbreak.

Board Chair Holly Mitchell issued a proclamation late Monday declaring the emergency in Los Angeles County, where more than 400 monkeypox cases have been identified so far — nearly the double the amount from a week ago.

“This proclamation is critical in helping us get ahead of this virus,” Mitchell said in a statement. “By declaring a local emergency, it allows us to cut through the red tape to better dedicate resources and educate residents on how to protect themselves and help stop the spread. It will also allow the county to quickly administer vaccines as more become available and to take the necessary efforts to obtain supplies and enhance outreach and awareness.”

The Board of Supervisors ratified the declaration Tuesday on an unanimous vote.

As part of the proclamation, the Board of Supervisors will request recovery assistance be made available under the California Disaster Assistance Act, and that the state expedite access to state and federal resources and any other appropriate federal disaster relief programs.

The Board of Supervisors will also direct county departments to implement all assessment, assistance and monitoring efforts as applicable.

Gov. Gavin Newsom issued a state of emergency for California on Monday in response to the increase of monkeypox cases in the state. New York also issued an emergency declaration, as has San Francisco.

Supervisor Janice Hahn wrote on Twitter Monday she supports the emergency declaration.

“I’m hopeful this will help vaccination efforts and ultimately help slow the spread of this virus,” Hahn said in a tweet.

Supervisor Kathryn Barger said in a statement the county “needs to draw down all the support available to accelerate the distribution of vaccines and resources to those at risk and suffering from this terrible disease. I will work to ensure we’re doing so quickly and efficiently We don’t have any time to waste.”

As of Monday, a total of 824 monkeypox cases were confirmed in California — the second-highest of any state, behind New York’s 1,390 — while nationwide, the aggregate count was at 5,811, according to the latest data from the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. There were more than 400 cases in Los Angeles County as of Tuesday, primarily in gay men.

Monkeypox is generally spread through intimate skin-to-skin contact, resulting from infectious rashes and scabs, though respiratory secretions and bodily fluids exchanged during extended physical episodes, such as sexual intercourse, can also lead to transmission, according to the CDC. It can also be transmitted through the sharing of items such as bedding and towels.

Symptoms include fresh pimples, blisters, rashes, fever and fatigue. There is no specific treatment. People who have been infected with smallpox, or have been vaccinated for it, may have immunity to monkeypox.

According to health officials, the vaccine can prevent infection if given before or shortly after exposure to the virus.

Gay, bisexual and other men who have sex with men are at increased risk of contracting the virus, according to the CDC.

Last week, the Board of Supervisors voted to lobby federal health officials for more monkeypox vaccine supplies and boosted funding for testing and administration of the shots. The county has been slowly expanding eligibility for the JYNNEOS monkeypox vaccine, but supplies remain extremely limited.

In Los Angeles County, monkeypox vaccines are available to people confirmed by the Department of Public Health to have had high- or immediate-risk contact with a known monkeypox patient, and to people who attended an event or visited a venue where they were a high risk of exposure to a confirmed case. Those people are generally identified through county contact-tracing efforts, and they will be notified by the county.

Shots are also available for gay and bisexual men and transgender people with a diagnosis of rectal gonorrhea or early syphilis within the past year.

Also eligible for the shots are gay or bisexual men or transgender people who are on HIV pre-exposure prophylaxix, or PrEP, or who attended or worked at a commercial sex venue or other venue where they had anonymous sex or sex with multiple partners — such as at a sauna, bathhouse or sex club — in the past 21 days.

Eligibility was expanded Tuesday to include gay or bisexual men or transgender people aged 18 and older who have had multiple or anonymous sex partners in the past 14 days.

People who believe they fall into any of the criteria can contact their health care provider to see if that provider can administer the vaccine.

Qualified people who do not have a health care provider — or whose provider does not carry the vaccine — can either make an appointment at a designated vaccine clinic or visit a walk-in location. Information is available at ph.lacounty.gov/monkeypox. A list of monkeypox vaccine locations is available here.

The county has also activated a website where residents can fill out an online form to see if they may be eligible for a shot and pre-register to be added to a waiting list.

People who register at the site and are eligible for the vaccine will receive a text message when it is available, with information on where to get the shot.

The registration website is here.

The county on Wednesday will open a monkeypox vaccination site at the West Hollywood Library, 647 N. San Vicente Blvd., for people who pre-registered for the vaccine. It will be open by appointment only from 9 am to 6 pm

The vaccine is a two-shot regimen, so additional supplies will be reserved to provide second doses to those who received the initial shot.

Brad Pitt reveals why he wore a skirt to Bullet Train premiere

Brad Pitt isn’t skirting around the truth.

The Oscar winner, 58, has explained why he decided to rock a skirt at the German premiere of his new comedy-action film Bullet Train last month, reports the new york post.

the Fight Club star showed off his tattoos on the Berlin red carpet on July 19 where he sported a light pink shirt, combat boots, a brown kilt and a matching jacket.

At Monday’s Los Angeles premiere of Bullet TrainPitt revealed why he opted for the style choice.

“I don’t know! We’re all going to die, so let’s mess it up,” he told Variety.

For Monday’s event, the Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood actor wore a green suit and yellow sneakers.

Pitt previously described why he decided to wear a skirt at the Berlin show last month, jokingly telling the Associated Press: “The breeze. The breeze.”

The David Leitch film stars Pitt as a hitman who has encountered several killers aboard a fast-moving train. Sandra Bullock, Logan Lerman, Bad Bunny, Joey King, Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Brian Tyree Henry also appear in the movie.

The father of six also revealed to the outlet how the movie’s violence is an ongoing theme throughout the plot and how he was happy to let his stuntman do some of the more hardcore moves dusting shooting.

“I try to get out of it. I love a stuntman,” Pitt said. “This one was action-comedy, something I’ve never done before.”

He continued: “David and I had always been big fans of Jackie Chan. We’d been talking about him for decades. He’s kind of our Buster Keaton. He’s so talented and underrated even. Just to do something in that direction was what was really appealing to me.”

Pitt also shed some light on retirement rumors at the LA red carpet yesterday.

I have told dead line on Monday: “I was just saying, ‘I’m past middle age and I want to be specific about how I spend those last things however they may be.’ I’ve never been a five-year plan kind of guy. I’m just, whatever feels right for the day. I still operate that way.”

Pitt previously revealed his inability to remember faces is a condition he suffers from, called prosopagnosia, or face blindness.

“Nobody believes me,” he told GQ. “But it’s a mystery to me, man. I can’t grasp a face and yet I come from such a design/aesthetic point of view.”

“Bullet Train” will be released in Australian theaters on August 4.

Commonwealth Games 2022: Australia win gold, redemption in Rugby Sevens, defeat Fiji

Australia have wrapped up the Commonwealth Rugby Sevens gold medal in a 22-12 win over Fiji in a dominant display.

It’s redemption for the Aussies after a heartbreaking loss at the previous Commonwealth Games in Australia.

Australia lost an epic final in 2018 on the Gold Coast, down 17-12 in extra-time to New Zealand.

But after edging past the Kiwis in a dramatic semi-final and losing a pool game to Fiji, Australia made no mistake in the final.

Faith Nathan scored a first half double as well as a try to Madison Ashby opened up a massive 17-0 lead at halftime.

The Aussies then scored immediately after the half through Maddison Levi, making it a 22-0 lead.

Although the Fijians finally got a pass to stick and scored a try as well as a consolation two minutes after full-time, it was nowhere near enough as the Aussies claimed the gold medal.

It had been the one medal Australia had been missing, having won in Rio in 2016, and coming into the tournament as the reigning Rugby Sevens women’s world champions after winning four of the six tournaments in the 2021-22 World Series.

Aussie star Charlotte Caslick said it was nearly a perfect performance from gold medalists.

“I think in those physical contests, we dominated nearly every single one of those and that’s what we had to do,” Caslick said after the match.

“I wouldn’t say it was perfect (performance) but it was close to.

“We’ve had an amazing World Series and been dominant year so to be rewarded in front of an awesome crowd is pretty special.”

And it was more redemption after Australia was bundled out of the Tokyo Olympics in a 19-0 quarterfinal thrashing by Fiji.

While the women’s side will bring home the extra baggage of the gold medals, the men couldn’t follow suit.

After a semi-final loss to South Africa earlier in the day, the Aussies fell 26-12 to New Zealand in the bronze medal match to miss the podium.

It was a tough break for Australia who are second on the World Series ladder behind South Africa with one tournament left in Los Angeles in late August.

South Africa broke to the men’s title in a 31-7 obliteration of Fiji.

Secrets of world’s most exclusive sex club Snctm revealed by performer

Whispers travel across the dimly-lit room that an A-list female star is among the masked guests at a top-secret Snctm sex party.

Members, who pay up to $50,000 a year to attend orgies in lavish settings, are sipping champagne and cocktails by the bar, while some are already exploring each other’s bodies, The Sun reported.

This is a regular evening at work for Haley Grace, who puts on a tantalizing display with fellow performers, and has recalled her experiences working for the elite society.

The high-end erotic arts club, which launched in 2013, has become a sexy night-life staple in cities including LA and New York, offering guests the chance to realize their wildest sexual fantasies.

Haley is a performer, model, costume designer, and producer who has been working at the club’s intimate events since last September, often held in mansions or luxury penthouses.

Her specialty acts range from fire performance, burlesque, and roller-dancing to environmental character performances. She is also a professional mermaid.

She says her shows for Snctm are “expressive, elegant, and sensual,” and dare the viewer to transcend reality and enter a world of fantasy, reminiscent of the 1999 film ‘Eyes Wide Shut’ starring Tom Cruise.

In an exclusive interview with The Sun, she said: “I first heard of Snctm through a night-life venue I perform at, and my first

time attending was actually as a guest.

“I went with a date and we had an absolutely amazing time. I went to the next event again as a guest but alone.

“It was a different experience but exciting and satisfying nonetheless.“At this point, I had gotten to know many of the people involved in making SncTM and it really made me want to be a part of the

team, so I applied to become one of their performers.

“The following event they had I was making my debut performance. I have been a XXX performer for a year now.”

She admitted: “My friends know of my role with Snctm but I have never felt the urge to make it a family discussion.

“I’m polyamorous and also perform with my main partner.

“Doing acts with him is great because the performance is really enhanced when the chemistry between two people is real and they know each other’s bodies.”

When it comes to guest relations, she said performers do interact with them by mingling and flirting to ensure they are having a good time and getting in the mood.

However, as a general rule, performers do not hook up with guests.

“I don’t have any sexual contact with guests – I only physically interact with the other XXX models that I have consented to perform with,” Haley said.

“The show is always different and so is every evening. At the last Snctm party, I did a beautiful bondage scene while being serenaded by a violinist – it was divine.”

She says the crowd of up to 100 is made up of “beautiful, wealthy people” working in everything from business and finance to the arts, including many well-known faces.

Recalling one night in New York which sticks in her mind, Haley said she rubbed shoulders with a female celebrity and the pair had a memorable conversation.

Asked if she’s ever been starstruck at Snctm, she said: “Yes, there was one time I definitely was. And I got the opportunity to talk to them for a while.

“It was an A-list female star, people like to do this in secret and be able to kind of shed their inhibitions.”

Asked if the star got involved with any fellow guests, Haley giggled and replied: “I can’t speak on that.”

Quizzed if the club still gets many big names through its doors, she said: “I’m not really the best with celebrity names and faces, but people do get excited like, ‘Oh, so and so is here’. So that’s fun.

“The organizers are very strict about people’s phones, they are taken at the door. And they have really good security.

“Consent is also the most important thing. They really do a good job of making sure that it’s like a safe space for everyone, not just celebrities.”

The parties run from around 10pm until 3pm and Snctm has also hosted events in the likes of Miami and Moscow, with actress Gwyneth Paltrow even reportedly promoting the club.

“Typically when people arrive, men are in tuxedos, and women are dressed in evening gowns with sexy lingerie underneath,” Haley said.

“They’ll go over to the bar, get a cocktail. We’ll have some more ambient performers.

“And then the night kind of progresses from there. The performances are spread out between rooms.

“We have different stage pieces. There’s a lot of attention to detail, decor, props, things of that sort, lighting, and music.

“A lot of times we’ll have live musicians. I’ve done scenes where I was also being serenaded by either a harpist or violinist, there can be a really beautiful, dark ambience.”

While many sex parties involve guests going off into private rooms to get down and dirty, Haley said Snctm is more of a “play party.”

“The point is really more to play in public,” she said. And then there are people who are fly on the wall [voyeurs].”

Guests get down to business – kissing and engaging in foreplay, in either couples or groups, while others go all the way and enjoy full sex in front of fellow members.

Haley said since events were canceled throughout the pandemic due to safety, Snctm is now more popular than ever, insisting: “We’re always packed out.”

Snctm has thrived under new ownership for the past few years and they have also welcomed a new creative director, Inka Nevala, an award-winning performance artist who also goes by Lou Lou D’vil.

Haley said the majority of her parties have been in New York, with a few in Los Angeles, and she’ll arrive at the event in the afternoon to have her hair and makeup done.

“Next, I will do a run-through and discussion with the creative director and my performance partner(s) about the scenes I’m in.

“Following that I get into costume and do a photo shoot. I usually have plenty of time to relax and socialize until getting ready for the doors to open and the real fun to begin.

“I’ll often start the evening doing a more ambient performance and then later on in the night will do the more intense sex scenes on the main stage with my partner(s).

“I’ll typically have three performative moments throughout the night.”

Haley said she’d encourage couples or single women to join Snctm, describing it as a “sexual oasis” and ”a unique experience.”

She added: “If you are a sexually open-minded person, or want to open up more, it’s a great way to find like minds and try new things.

“The feedback I get from guests is really positive. A lot of first-timers have expressed to me that they were surprised with how open and inspired they felt being there.”
