Abbie Chatfield has revealed she’s been trolled by followers of the Youtube star dubbed “the scariest man on the internet”.
The reality-star-turned-TV host has revealed her DMs have been lit up by Andrew Tate acolytes aged in their early teens.
In the past couple of months Tate, 35, has become a viral sensation and lightning rod for disaffected young men, with his vile, misogynistic opinions: including that women are property and should accept blame if they are raped.
The British American former kickboxer says he only dates women half his age so he can leave an imprint and is reportedly under investigation for human trafficking and rape allegations in Romania, where he lives.
It’s understood he is googled more than Donald Trump and Kim Kardashian.
Chatfield, who is an outspoken feminist, said she had tried to avoid commenting on Tate so as not to give him “oxygen” in the media.
“I’ve had a really hard time with Andrew Tate because I exist in the realm of feminism and calling out misogyny, my podcast, my radio show I’ve been asked millions of times (to talk about him),” she revealed on The Project.
“But I do feel like I really want to ignore him. I want to try to suffocate him of any oxygen in media because the more I engage with his content, even to research for a radio segment, if I look at his TikToks or if he is tagged in a TikTok and I look at it too long that feeds the algorithm, that spreads out more to my followers and to the followers that are already engaging in that content. . . (but) it is getting a bit too big to ignore now.”
She said she was sure her listeners agreed that “yes, he’s disgusting, he’s awful, let’s move on”.
Chatfield said she had posted one Instagram story to her followers saying she didn’t want to comment on Tate, but that provoked a disturbing response from his fans.
“I’m getting DMs from early teen boys saying ‘I hope Andrew Tate destroys you’ or things along that line,” she said.
“I also get comments calling me Abbie Tate and comments on TikTok especially — that’s where it is really, really rife.”
She also questioned how Tate was able to spread his message of hate about women on TikTok, and yet she was censored for putting up videos of herself.
“I upload a TikTok in a white singlet, with a bra on, and it gets deleted in a minute, wouldn’t even go up,” she said.
“But there’s endless videos of him saying that women are property, and extremely violent, misogynistic things. How can that slip through the cracks but me in a singlet can’t?”
He saves others from danger as superhero Spider-Man. Now Tom Holland has decided to save himself – by deleting his social media apps from his phone.
“I find Instagram and Twitter to be over-stimulating, to be overwhelming. I get caught up and I spiral when I read things about me online and ultimately it’s very detrimental to my mental state. So I decided to take a step back and delete the app,” he said.
Holland, 26, who has a combined Twitter and Instagram following of nearly seven million, made the announcement in a video posted online to support the Stem4 charity which promotes positive mental health for teenagers.
Making clear it was only a floating reappearance on Instagram, he wrote: “Hello and goodbye… I have been taking a break from social media for my mental health, but felt compelled to come on here to talk about Stem4… Please take the time to watch my video and, should you feel inclined to share it with anyone who it may resonate with, it would be greatly appreciated.”
The Londoner, who is dating Spider-Man co-star Zendaya, 25, was inundated with messages of support including one from pop star Justin Bieber, 28, who wrote: “Love you man.”
My Family star Robert Lindsay, 72, also announced he was quitting Twitter yesterday – under orders from his son.
The father-of-three tweeted: “After a long conversation with my son I’ve decided to leave Twitter alone as he feels it’s affecting my daily life, thoughts and imaginings.
“He’s right, of course, and I need to detox from the stresses of social media.”
He added: ‘I’ve allowed the many distractions of a problematic world which we all care about so much from allowing me the freedom I need to fulfill my career.”
The actor, who found fame in the 1970s comedy Citizen Smith, has two sons, but it is unclear which one he was referring to.
Luke Hemsworth doesn’t compete with his younger actor siblings Liam and Chris Hemsworth.
The 41-year-old actor admits he and his brothers like to “one-up” each other in “everyday life” and give out constructive criticism, but he would never pit himself against the pair when it comes to acting.
However, the former ‘Neighbours’ star quipped that the “gorgeous” hunks might think differently when it comes to each other.
Speaking to Men’s Health Australia, Luke said of Liam, 32, and Chris, 38: “I don’t compete with them for anything in acting.
“They might compete together because they’re both 6ft4 and knock down gorgeous.
“But it’s fun to be supportive.
“It’s fun to learn lines with them. It’s not like we’re not critical of each other, that’s for sure.
“But it’s criticism designed to take a performance to another level.
“In everyday life, we’re normal brothers. We definitely try to one-up each other. We like to have fun. We like to laugh.”
Meanwhile, Luke previously admitted he felt “stung” after being overlooked for a role in the ‘Star Wars’ franchise.
He auditioned for the titular role in 2018’s ‘Solo: A Star Wars Story’, and he was devastated when he was overlooked for the part in favor of Alden Ehrenreich.
Luke shared in 2020: “I’ve definitely auditioned for Solo, Han Solo. I really wanted that. That one really hurt more than others because I wanted it so much.
“You develop a thick skin fairly quickly because more often than not you’re getting turned down.”
Luke also confessed he didn’t enjoy the experience of auditioning for the ‘Star Was’ movie, describing it as an “alien environment”.
He added: “The nature of auditions is you never get feedback. They’re usually pretty weird. You’re just in a chair. It’s really hard.
“Confidence is sometimes… It’s bull***t. It’s just bravado. You’re pretending, you’re just trying to get through a performance that doesn’t look like you’re s***ting yourself.
“Everyone is just sitting there waiting for you to do something cool.
You quickly have to develop a thick skin otherwise you fall apart.”
US comedian and talk show host Ellen DeGeneres has led a chorus of tributes following the death of her former girlfriend Anne Heche.
The 53-year-old actress was declared brain dead on Friday (local time) after she slipped into a coma following a severe car crash on August 5.
The pair dated for three years from 1997 to 2000 – shortly after DeGeneres came out as lesbian.

“This is a sad day,” DeGeneres wrote on Twitter.
“I’m sending Anne’s children, family and friends all of my love.”
Shortly after the incident on Friday, DeGeneres was approached on the street and asked if she had spoken to Heche.
“No, have not. We’re not in touch with each other, so I wouldn’t know,” she said, as reported by Fox News.
Asked if she wanted to send her former girlfriend any well-wishes, DeGeneres simply responded: “Sure. I don’t want anyone to be hurt.”
The former Six Days, Seven Nights actress was in critical condition and hospitalized after crashing her car into a home in West Los Angeles.
A representative for her family told PEOPLE on Friday she is being kept on life support until she is determined as a match for organ donation.
“Today we lost a bright light, a kind and most joyful soul, a loving mother and a loyal friend,” a representative for her family said in a statement.
“Anne will be deeply missed but she lives on through her beautiful sons, her iconic body of work, and her passionate advocacy. Her bravery for always standing in her truth, spreading her message of love and acceptance, will continue to have a lasting impact .”
Heche’s eldest son Homer, 20, said he has been left with a “deep, wordless sadness.”
“My brother Atlas and I lost our mum,” he told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement.
“After six days of almost unbelievable emotional swings, I am left with a deep, wordless sadness.
“Hopefully my mum is free from pain and beginning to explore what I like to imagine as her eternal freedom.”
The 20-year-old went on to acknowledge the outpouring of love from friends, families and fans of Heche.
“Over those six days, thousands of friends, family and fans made their hearts known to me,” he said.
“I am grateful for their love, as I am for the support of my dad, Coley, and my step mum Alexi who continue to be my rock during this time. Rest in Peace Mom, I love you.”
The 53-year-old’s ex James Tupper also posted an emotional tribute to the actress on Instagram.
The Canadian actor and father of Heche’s youngest son Atlas posted a sweet photo of Heche with the caption: “Love you forever” alongside a broken heart emoji.
Actor Anne Heche is brain dead, her spokesperson said Friday, a week after she crashed her car into a home in Los Angeles.
“While Anne is legally dead according to California law, her heart is still beating, and she has not been taken off life support so that One Legacy can see if she is a match for organ donation,” Heche’s spokesperson said in a statement to NBC News.
“We have lost a bright light, a kind and most joyful soul, a loving mother, and a loyal friend,” a statement on behalf of Heche’s family and friends said Friday.

“Anne will be deeply missed but she lives on through her beautiful sons, her iconic body of work, and her passionate advocacy. Her bravery of her for always standing in her truth of her, spreading her message of love and acceptance, will continue to have a lasting impact.
On Monday, Heche, 53, was in a coma and in “extreme” condition after suffering an anoxic brain injury, her representative said.
Anoxic injuries occur when the brain is cut off from oxygen, causing cell death. Heche was in the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills Hospital.
He careened into a home in the Mar Vista community of Los Angeles last Friday. The home sustained damage from the “heavy fire” sparked by the collision, said Brian Humphrey, a spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department.
She had drugs in her system, and she was being investigated for possibly driving under the influence, police said Thursday.
“In preliminary testing, the blood draw revealed the presence of drugs,” Los Angeles police said in a statement.
Police could not “comment right now on the presence of cocaine, fentanyl or alcohol at this time,” they said Thursday. “That will be determined by the second test.”
“The case is being investigated as a felony DUI traffic collision,” the statement said.
She landed her first notable role on the soap opera “Another World,” portraying Vicky Hudson and Marley Love into the early 1990s.
Later that decade, films such as Donnie Brasco, Volcano and I Know What You Did Last Summer helped propel her fame inside Hollywood and beyond.
Her television credits included Chicago PD and Men in Trees.
She met talk show host Ellen DeGeneres in 1997, when Vince Vaughn, her co-star in Return to Paradise, introduced them at a Los Angeles-area restaurant.
Heche and DeGeneres became romantically involved in a relationship that Heche said was groundbreaking for the time because of the global attention they received as Hollywood stars in a same-sex romance.
“My story is a story that created change in the world, moved the needle for equal rights forward, when I fell in love with Ellen DeGeneres,” she said in a taped segment that year for the show Dancing With the Stars.
When their three-year relationship ended in 2000, Heche was hospitalized after she was found wandering in a rural area of Fresno County, California, acting disoriented and confused, authorities said.
He described her struggles with her mental health in her 2001 memoir, Call Me Crazy.
“I wanted to beat everybody else to the punch,” she said about the book in an interview that year with Larry King. “I certainly know what’s been written about me in the press. I, although I was never diagnosed as being crazy, I went crazy.”
Heche also wrote about her relationship with DeGeneres. She said it was groundbreaking as a high-profile, same-sex romance but that it cost her career dearly.
Heche said she could not get hired for a role by a major studio for nearly a decade.
Later, she married Coley Laffoon, and the couple had a son before they divorced. She had another son in 2009 with actor James Tupper, her co-star in Men in Trees; they separated.
In a family statement earlier in the week, Heche was described as having a “huge heart” and as someone who “touched everyone she met with her generous spirit.”
“More than her extraordinary talent, she saw spreading kindness and joy as her life’s work — especially moving the needle for acceptance of who you love,” the statement said. “She will be remembered for her courageous honesty from her and dearly missed for her light from her.”
She’s still just a teenager, but Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown is already one of the most in-demand actors in Hollywood.
It’s no surprise considering she started her career at eight and landed the role of Eleven on the smash Netflix show at the age of only 10.
But she said there had been a downside to fame.
Brown, who boasts more than 55 million followers on Instagram, has revealed to Allure magazine that she went to therapy after the constant online bullying.
“It’s really hard to be hated on when you don’t know who you are yet,” she said.
“So it’s like, ‘What do they hate about me? ‘Cause I don’t know who I am.’ It’s almost like, ‘OK, I’m going to try being this today.’ (And then they say), ‘Oh, no, I hate that’.“
The 18-year-old said she was lucky she had great support behind the scenes.
“I started to grow more, and my family and friends really helped. It helped to be able to understand that I don’t need to be anything they (the haters) said that I need to be. I just have to develop within myself,” Brown said.
The star does not run her own social media and has deleted Twitter and TikTok.
Instead she uses her beauty brand, Florence by Mills, to speak directly with her fans in blog posts. It works, Brown said, because “nobody can comment.”
Kyle Sandilands has offered a first glimpse of his newborn son Otto.
The baby was born shortly after the radio host frantically left his show, mid-program, when he learned fiancée Tegan Kynaston had gone into labor on Thursday morning.

“The baby is perfect. Everything is wonderful. He was just under three kilos,” the new dad said from the hospital live on KIIS radio on Friday.
He said he did not cry when Otto was born but he “felt the need to cry, like when you’re catching your breath, but thought, I can’t pull this off in front of medical professionals”.
Speaking about the birth, the radio host revealed Otto was born via C-section.
As his son came into the world, Sandilands described a “big fountain of urine that sprayed across the theatre”.
Kyle said he cut the umbilical cord, “but blood shot out – they don’t tell you there’s blood in it”.
“Tegan’s just gone to sleep, I’m planning on running next door and stealing the baby to show you,” the new dad said.
As Sandilands wheeled his new son in, Jackie Henderson and the rest of the KIIS team yelled out, “Aw look at him!”
“Here he is,” an excited Sandilands said.
“My mum said, ‘Oh he looks exactly like you’.”
Henderson agreed, “I think it does look like you, Kyle.”
Sandilands said the nurses told him the baby will “change his appearance every day.”
“I think he’s absolutely gorgeous now,” the radio host sweetly said.
“Do you think you’re producing a supermodel here, mate?” one of the producers joked.
“That love (that everyone talks about) is really immense anxiety and having no idea – I am out of my depth,” the new dad admitted.
“It’s the greatest day of my life, she’s like a super mum,” he said of his fiancée Kynaston.
On Thursday, the 51-year-old quickly said his goodbyes to the KIIS team before removing his headphones – as he rushed out the door to be by Kynaston’s side in hospital.
‘It’s time!’
Shortly after, co-host Henderson confirmed on the show the couple had welcomed their baby boy after receiving a text message from Sandilands’ manager Bruno Bouchet.
“Little Otto was born this morning. Mum and bub both doing well,” the text from Bouchet read.
“Kyle’s beyond excited.”
Earlier on Thursday, Sandilands said he was broadcasting from home when he received the best personal news.
“I might have to leave the show and go to the hospital,” he abruptly said during the radio show.
“It’s time? Oh, it’s time!” co-host Jackie O Henderson was heard saying from the studio.
“It’s time,” Sandilands confirmed.
The studio broke out in applause as the dad-to-be prepared to leave.
“Calm down, we don’t want the kid coming out too soon,” Sandilands joked.
“You ready?” he was heard saying ‘off mic’ before telling the team, “Guys I’m so sorry, I feel very unprepared – I don’t even know if…”
“It’s okay,” Henderson reassured him, asking “Have you got your bag packed and everything?”.
“Yes, I’ve got my bag,” he replied.
“I’ve got to run, I feel like I’m abandoning you,” Sandilands added, before rushing off.
Boy or girl?
After announcing the pregnancy news in February, Sandilands and Kynaston celebrated by throwing a gender reveal party on a boat in the middle of Sydney Harbour.
Courtesy of the Kyle and Jackie O Show’s Instagram, the excited couple was seen arriving on the boat as a live band played.
Pictures were shared of the four-tier gender reveal cake, ‘baby Sandilands’ decor, an elaborate candy bar – all in shades of blue and pink.
The parents-to-be found out live on air that they were expecting a little boy.
The gender was announced by plans that flew over their boat spewing blue smoke.
Live on air, you could hear the crowd cheer as the plans flew past.
“We did expect a girl but we’re very, very happy,” Sandilands said after the plans flew past.

Sandilands and Kynaston, who began dating in 2019, shared that they had decided on potential baby names.
Announcing to his listeners on February 13, Sandilands said: “We’re having a baby!” prompting the entire KIIS FM studio team to cheer.
“We are having a friggin’ baby. I couldn’t be happier,” he added.
Co-host Henderson – who’s a mother to daughter Kitty, aged 10 – told the couple she was “so happy”, and told them their lives would soon change forever.
‘He’s very emotional about it’
Speaking on air, Kynaston said Sandilands had been “excellent” since she’s fallen pregnant.
“He’s been very emotional… very happy about it,” she said.
Sandilands said his manager Bruno found it challenging to deflect questions from the media after Kynaston was spotted on February 2 with a “slight bump”.
The couple announced their engagement live on air in January after he proposed in Port Douglas.
“I apologize to the women of the world, as I am officially off the market,” Sandilands said at the time.
He told his listeners Kynaston had “no clue” the proposal was coming.
The 50-year-old went into detail about his elaborate proposal plans that were set to feature fireworks, live music, an array of candles and a lavish meal.
However, not everything went according to plan.
The KIIS FM host had organized for singer-songwriter Conrad Sewell to fly in from overseas and perform the couple’s favorite song while Sandilands got down on one knee.
The radio host shared that “two days before the proposal, Conrad rang and he was very upset because he had caught COVID.”
“I couldn’t postpone it because there were chefs, fireworks and I had hired a venue,” Sandilands said.
Despite the complications, Sandilands told listeners the proposal went ahead without live music, explaining to then-girlfriend Kynaston that they were attending a pop-up art show.
“When we got there, we got out, I swung the door open and they played the Conrad song. There were candles and soft lighting,” Sandilands said.
Following the romantic proposal, the couple watched the fireworks display alongside close family and friends.
Kynaston, who is 15 years younger than her fiancé, met Sandilands as his personal assistant in 2019.

Kevin Federline has leaked videos of Britney Spears seemingly telling her kids off.
The 40-year-old pop icon’s ex-husband recently claimed that their sons Preston, 16, and Jayden 15, haven’t seen their mother “for months”.
He claimed the boys had “decided” they didn’t want to see their mother or attend her recent wedding to Sam Asghari, and suggested the teenagers were embarrassed by her revealing Instagram posts.
The ‘Gimme More’ singer denied that her social media posts are anything to do with her not seeing them and branded the comments as “hurtful”.
And now, the feud has escalated after the 44-year-old former backup dancer posted – who was married to Britney between 2004 and 2007 – two clips of the mother-of-two allegedly rowing with her sons, and claimed that his boys gave him permission for the footage to be made public because “the lies have to stop”.
He captioned the videos on Instagram: “I cannot sit back and let my sons be accused in this way after what they’ve been through. As much as it hurts us, we decided as a family to post these videos.
“This isn’t even the worst of it. The lies have to stop. I hope our kids grow up to be better than this.”
The videos are poorly lit and filmed by the teenagers. Britney is also unaware she is being filmed.
In one of the clips, the ‘Toxic’ hitmaker asks her boys to “start respecting me”.
She says: “This is my house. If I want to come in here and give you lotion for your face because it’s coarse … y’all better start respecting me, are we clear?”
She smokes: “You all need to start treating me like a woman with worth. I am a woman, okay, be nice to me, do you understand?”
In another clip, they are in the car when Britney says she is “shocked” by something that one of her boys has done, before blaming it on him going through “puberty”, and then insisting she cares “more than you know”.
The ‘Womanizer’ singer shouts: “Have you lost your f****** mind? Have you lost your f****** mind?”
She goes on: “I do care. But I’m shocked as f*** with you but I don’t know what to do
“And I’m scared of you because you’re weird because you’re going through puberty. And I don’t know what to say. But I do care more than you know.”
The leaks came shortly after Britney claimed her sons were “hateful” towards her.
She wrote: “There’s being rude then there’s being HATEFUL.
“They would visit me, walk in the door, go straight to their room and lock the door!!!
“The MONITOR would tell me that he just likes to be in his room.
“I’m like why come visit me if they don’t even visit me !!! (sic)”
Julie Bishop has turned heads at a David Jones fashion show, wowing onlookers in a figure-hugging designer frock some have already dubbed her “revenge dress”.
Bishop wore a figure-hugging black Balmain minidress, worth around $3750, to David Jones’ spring-summer 2022 “Wonderland” runway show on Wednesday night.

The metallic jacquard dress was paired with hoop earrings, a black clutch bag, black stockings and elegant black heels.
When photographs of Bishop emerged online, social media users went wild.
The mining industry advisor and ANU chancellor recently split from her partner of eight years, David Panton, who reportedly broke up with her over dinner at a Sydney restaurant on July 1.
Fans of Bishop liked Wednesday night’s sexy outfit to Princess Diana’s famous “revenge dress” – a short black cocktail dress she wore at her first public event after splitting from Prince Charles.
Bishop’s dress wasn’t quite as revealing – Diana’s dress, designed by Christina Stambolian, revealed her decolletage, while Bishop’s Balmain number was high-necked.
But it did show off her fit and fabulous figure, prompting former Sunrise entertainment reporter Nelson Aspen to comment after she posted a picture on her Instagram page: “Va va va voom!!”
Pip Edwards, of Australian activewear brand PE Nation, added: “You stunner!”
“Is that like Diana’s revenge dress?” one follower wrote.
“So chic,” hair and makeup artist Max May wrote.
“A goddess,” wrote another follower.
Bishop also posted a group shot from the evening, underneath which actor Hugh Sheridan dropped four “on fire” emojis.
Wow Julie!! You look absolutely stunning. Glamorous, elegance and class,” another follower wrote.
At the time of Bishop’s split with Panton, he told a Sydney newspaper that he would be “focused on living in Manly and Melbourne for the foreseeable future”.
“I wish Julie all the best in her ongoing stellar career.”
Bishop and Panton are believed to have begun dating around 2014 and they maintained a long-distance relationship for years – with Bishop based in Perth while Panton was in Sydney.
The couple had been pictured dining in London with Prince Charles just six days before the news broke of their split.
Bishop regularly attends fashion events and is known for her immaculate style and love of designer labels.
This was department store David Jones’ first seasonal runway show since before the COVID pandemic, showcasing the latest collections from its stable of fashion designers.
Other celebrities spotted at the Sydney show included singer Vera Blue, actress Magnolia Maymuru, Channel 7 presenter Erin Holland, model Victoria Lee and influencer Tara Whiteman.

Bindi Irwin’s husband Chandler Powell has revealed a recent health scare, lavishing praise on his wife while he recovers in hospital.
The husband of Bindi Irwin had his tonsils removed this week, sharing the update with a photo on social alongside his wife in hospital.
In the snap, the couple are pictured smiling at the camera from Powell’s hospital bed.
The Instagram post was captioned with a sweet message to Irwin, who was by his side every step of the way.
“Just wanted to write a note to my amazing wife. I had to get my tonsils out and she has been taking the best care of me,” he said.
“I’m so lucky to be loved by you, Bindi.”
Powell was also sure not to forget Bindi’s mum Terri Irwin, who was baby-sitting their daughter Grace while he was on the mend.
“Also, thank you Bunny (my awesome mum-in-law) for taking care of Grace while we’ve been in the hospital and I’ve been recovering,” he said.
Bindi replied to the post with her own touching message, showing just how loved-up the couple is after two years of marriage.
“Sweetheart, always always always here for you,” she said.
“Being married to you is the very best and I’m so proud of you.”
Late last month Bindi celebrated her 24th birthday, sharing a snap of a big cake and her daughter with a spoon chasing a slice.
The Australian Zoo heiress held a rustic and low-key gathering to mark the occasion.
In an open field, the family set up a picnic rug and make-shift table to hold the floral, two-tiered birthday cake.
She also debuted a new look with a stylish curled bob.
“Without them realizing, my sweet family has given me the greatest gifts this year through their extraordinary actions each and every day,” she wrote alongside the images.
