Olivia Wilde believes ex-partner Jason Sudeikis was trying to aggressively embarrass and “threaten” her when she was publicly served legal papers during a panel in April.

Wilde claims that Sudeikis used “outrageous legal tactics,” according to new court documents obtained by the DailyMail.

“Jason’s actions were clearly intended to threaten me and catch me off guard,” Wilde, 38, alleged in the filing, Page Six reports. “He could have served me discreetly, but instead he chose to serve me in the most aggressive manner possible.”

Wilde further claimed that Sudeikis, 46, was intentionally trying to air their personal matters to the public in a way that isn’t fair to their two children: Otis, 8, and Daisy, 5.

“The fact that Jason would embarrass me professionally and put our personal conflict on public display in this manner is extremely contrary to our children’s best interests,” Wilde argued. “Since Jason has made it clear that we will not be able to work this out for our children’s sake outside of the court system, I filed a petition for custody in Los Angeles.”

Page Six reported at the time that Wilde was mortified and confused.

“Olivia was confused when she was handed the envelope, and she was even more confused when she opened it,” the source told us, adding, “It seemed unthinkable to her, and it took a moment to set in, but as mortifying as it was, she did not want to give a reaction.”

However, a source close to Sudeikis had insisted to Page Six exclusively that he “had no prior knowledge of the time or place that the envelope would have been delivered … and he would never condone [Wilde] being served in such an inappropriate manner.”

Sudeikis and Wilde had been co-parenting their kids since calling off their engagement and breaking up in 2020, but the actor decided to launch the custody battle when the pair couldn’t agree on a permanent city to raise their children.

In court documents, Wilde alleges that they agreed to send their children to school in Los Angeles for the upcoming year as Sudeikis was set to film the final season of ted lasso inLondon.

“Recently, however, Jason decided that he wanted to go to New York for the next year while he is not working, and wanted the children to be with him there during this time off,” the actress claimed. “When I did not agree, since the children have not lived in New York for several years, Jason filed these papers.”

Sudeikis fired back in a declaration to the court, saying that their Brooklyn home has always been the family’s permanent residence.

“For better or worse, I am a New Yorker,” Sudeikis said in the filing, adding that it was best for their kids to grow up in Brooklyn.

He added that he was reluctant to pursue legal action against Wilde but that he was worried she would take their kids away from him after she allegedly told him she would only let him see their children on weekends and holidays if he didn’t permanently live in LA and that she also allegedly had plans to relocate to London, where her boyfriend, Harry Styles, lives.

Sudeikis further asserted that the legal documents were supposed to be served to Wilde at an airport or at her hotel. But after several failed attempts, she was located at the event thanks to a tweet where the process server handed her the confidential envelope.

“I understand that the process server had only done her job; however, I deeply regret what happened. Olivia’s talk was an important event for Olivia, both professionally and personally, and I am very, very sorry that the incident marred her special moment, ”Sudeikis said.

Wilde has been dating Styles since January 2021. Meanwhile, Sudeikis has been romantically linked to model Keeley Hazell.

Radio host Kyle Sandilands was seen frantically leaving the show mid-air after discovering his pregnant fiancée Tegan Kynaston had gone into labor on Thursday morning.

The 51-year-old quickly said his goodbyes to the KIIS team before removing his headphones – as he rushed out the door to be by Kynaston’s side in hospital.

Shortly after, co-host Jackie ‘O’ Henderson confirmed on the show the couple had welcomed their baby boy Otto after receiving a text message from Sandilands’ manager Bruno Bouchet.

“Little Otto was born this morning. Mum and bub both doing well,” the text from Bouchet read.

“Kyle’s beyond excited.”

Earlier on Thursday, Sandilands said he was broadcasting from home when he received the best personal news.

“I might have to leave the show and go to the hospital,” he abruptly said during the radio show.

“It’s time? Oh, it’s time!” co-host Jackie O Henderson was heard saying from the studio.

“It’s time,” Sandilands confirmed.

The studio broke out in applause as the dad-to-be prepared to leave.

“Calm down, we don’t want the kid coming out too soon,” Sandilands joked.

“You ready?” he was heard saying off the microphone before telling the team, “Guys I’m so sorry, I feel very unprepared – I don’t even know if…”

“It’s okay,” Henderson reassured him, asking “Have you got your bag packed and everything?”.

“Yes, I’ve got my bag,” he replied.

“I’ve got to run, I feel like I’m abandoning you,” Sandilands added, before rushing off.

Boy or girl?

After announcing the pregnancy news in February, Sandilands and Kynaston celebrated by throwing a gender reveal party on a boat in the middle of Sydney Harbour.

Courtesy of the Kyle and Jackie O Show’s Instagram, the excited couple was seen arriving on the boat as a live band played.

Pictures were shared of the four-tier gender reveal cake, ‘baby Sandilands’ decor, an elaborate candy bar – all in shades of blue and pink.

The parents-to-be found out live on air that they were expecting a little boy.

The gender was announced by plans that flew over their boat spewing blue smoke.

Live on air, you could hear the crowd cheer as the plans flew past.

“We did expect a girl but we’re very, very happy,” Sandilands said after the plans flew past.

Sandilands and Kynaston, who began dating in 2019, shared that they already decided on potential baby names.

Announcing to his listeners on 13 February, Sandilands said: “We’re having a baby!” prompting the entire KIIS FM studio team to cheer.

“We are having a friggin’ baby. I couldn’t be happier,” he added.

Co-host Henderson – who’s a mother to daughter Kitty, aged 10 – told the couple she was “so happy”, and told them their lives would soon change forever.

‘He’s very emotional about it’

Speaking on air, Kynaston said Sandilands had been “excellent” since she’s fallen pregnant.

“He’s been very emotional… very happy about it,” she said.

Sandilands said his manager Bruno Bouchet found it challenging to deflect questions from the media after Kynaston was spotted on February 2 with a “slight bump”.

The couple announced their engagement live on air in January after he proposed in Port Douglas.

“I apologize to the women of the world, as I am officially off the market,” Sandilands said at the time.

He told his listeners Kynaston had “no clue” the proposal was coming.

The 50-year-old went into detail about his elaborate proposal plans that were set to feature fireworks, live music, an array of candles and a lavish meal.

However, not everything went according to plan.

The KIIS FM host had organized for singer-songwriter Conrad Sewell to fly in from overseas and perform the couple’s favorite song while Sandilands got down on one knee.

The radio host shared that “two days before the proposal, Conrad rang and he was very upset because he had caught COVID.”

“I couldn’t postpone it because there were chefs, fireworks and I had hired a venue,” Sandilands said.

Despite the complications, Sandilands told listeners the proposal went ahead without live music, explaining to then-girlfriend Kynaston that they were attending a pop-up art show.

“When we got there, we got out, I swung the door open and they played the Conrad song. There were candles and soft lighting,” Sandilands said.

Following the romantic proposal, the couple watched the fireworks display alongside close family and friends.

Kynaston, who is 15 years younger than her fiancé, met Sandilands as his personal assistant in 2019.

When asked how he was coping with Los Angeles’ crime wave, Hogan simply said he ‘doesn’t go anywhere.’

‘[I’m] bored in lockdown, and the minute I can get on the plane without being locked in a hotel for two weeks, I’m back,’ he said in 2021.

Despite yearning to go back to Australia, Hogan said he would remain living in Venice to be a part of his son’s life.

‘Where Paul lives is hell on earth,’ Hogan’s neighbor Tyler Proctor, a local politician, said last year. ‘His house from him is like a fortress and it needs to be. I can see why [he] wants to move out.’

Constance Hall has slammed “desperate, lonely” men who send unsolicited photos after receiving a “d*ck pic” from a total stranger.

The mummy blogger posted a lengthy rant after she received an explicit image from a random man on an app that she had ironically downloaded at the request of “paranoid friends” who wanted to communicate safely.

After receiving the image, along with a string of disturbing sexual text messages, the outspoken mum tried to “put herself in the shoes” of males who send these pictures to understand why they do this.

However she concluded that there was no circumstance in the world in which she would send such a “depraved” photo – labeling it an “assault” against the unwitting recipient.

“What would drive me to the point of being gratified by sending a close-up cl*t pic of my [vagina] to someone who I’m 99 per cent sure doesn’t want to see my clacker?” she wrote on Facebook.

“Could it be depravity? If I had never met anyone who actually wanted to see my [vagina] could I be driven to send it out there anyway? Umm that’s a no.

“What if I thought that my cl*toris was a hooded mystic possessing some kind of power or blessings (which isn’t that far-fetched), meaning that even though these people didn’t want to see it… the photo is for their own good? Hmm no I’d just keep the blessings for those who consented to them.”

She also decided she wouldn’t send a “cl*t pic” if she was “terrified” of the opposite sex but had a high libido – or if she had “throbbing” genitals.

Despite toying with various reasons why men send unsolicited images, the 38-year-old concluded that “there isn’t enough empathy in the world that could help me understand”.

In an unexpected twist, Constance was able to have “sympathy” for the males who commit this awful act.

“Now that I’ve let the shock settle. I do feel a little sorry for the poor excited man, alone in his room, [erection] in one hand iPhone trying to get the best angle in the other, dreaming about the wide world of sexual encounters being had all over the place, none of which he was invited to,” she said.

However, even with a sprinkling of “sympathy” for the “desperate, lonely” men who do this, she pointed out it was a criminal offense and a form of assault.

Constance’s rant was widely well received, with many praising the mum-of-five and stepmum of two for her “clever” post.

“Never in my life will I understand why ‘men’ send (ad*ck) pic! Send back a pic of a scoring panel!” one woman wrote.

“I’m in a relationship now but before I wasn’t and I found this kind of behavior really disgusting and degrading… hard no, from me,” another said.

While one woman said: “Weird that men think it is a turn on.”

A single woman who thought her potential date was inviting her to a fancy rooftop bar has made an awkward discovery after finding out where the address actually led to.

Quinn Martin, from the US, matched with a man, known only as “Jake”, from dating app Hinge.

After hitting it off via text message, Jake invited her to a rooftop lounge for their first date.

But when she looked up the address, she realized the location was an apartment block where the man lived.

“He was supposed to take me on a date. I have suggested there’s a rooftop lounge that just opened and not many people know about – and it’s BYOB (bring your own bottle) so we can check it out,” she explained.

At first, she missed his “joke” about bringing her own alcohol to the “bar” so she asked him to provide the address.

“A couple of hours before the date, I asked him for the address because I wanted to see what the place was all about so he sent me an address… of an apartment complex,” she said.

“Maybe I was missing something so I asked him, ‘Is it a restaurant? What is this place? I can’t find it online’.

“Three minutes later, he says, ‘Haha no’… with no other information.”

She quickly connected the dots.

‘Is he trying to trick me?’

“So I’m sitting there thinking, no way is this man trying to trick me into his apartment building. But yes… that’s exactly what he was doing,” she said.

Much to her surprise, the man eventually confessed the address was in fact that of his home.

“Haha I thought I did a good job selling it,” the man wrote in his text to Quinn.

“The views are pretty sweet but we can hit a bar if you’d rather that… I’m down for whatever you’re feeling.”

Quinn didn’t see the funny side after uncovering the truth.

But Jake insisted it was never his intention to “trick” her into going to his home.

“I definitely could have phrased it differently but just thought it would be a nice change of pace from the traditional bar scene,” he wrote in the text, adding: “I’m sorry it came off the wrong way.”

Learned his lesson

Quinn never showed up on the date but she praised the man for apologizing to her.

“I feel like he learned his lesson,” she said, laughing.

In the caption of the video, Quinn joked: “Quite literally escaped my own episode of SVU”, referring to the US crime drama TV series Law & Order.

Her video has been viewed more than 745,000 times – with many saying they could see Jake’s “cute” intentions but understood why his “coy” plan backfired.

“Rooftop lounge that’s BYOB was the first red flag,” one wrote.

‘Clever but not for first date’

Another said: “Okay as a third date maybe… but as a first date opener… it’s a no.”

One suggested: “Tone is pretty hard to discern, I kind of see what he was trying to do. But yeah just be straightforward about it.”

Another wrote: “I think he was just balling on a budget and was trying to do a sweet date idea without saying that.”

One added: “To be honest, this is clever but not for a first date.”

Another said while laughing: “I have been so traumatized that I could tell where he was going with that the second I read it. Why do men have the audacity, I’m so sorry.”

While one added: “I got the joke immediately and thought it was funny, but that should have been for like a fourth date, not a first.”

Canadian rock star Gord Lewis died aged 65 on Sunday after he was allegedly murdered by his own son.

The Hamilton Police Department found Lewis in Ontario who “isolated” the incident to the musician’s son, Johnathan Lewis.

Johnathan Lewis, 41, has since been arrested and charged with “second-degree murder.”

The investigation is ongoing, according to police.

Hamilton detective Sara Beck said at a news conference on August 8 (US time) that they were not searching for additional suspects, the New York Post reported.

Police confirmed that Johnathan Lewis was in custody and had been charged.

Despite charging Johnathan Lewis, Beck added that they were “continuing to seek out witnesses and reviewing video in the area”.

Police said “a positive identification has not been made of the deceased due to the level of decomposition”, the Post reported.

Reportedly Gord Lewis had “injuries consistent with foul play” and the death was deemed a homicide.

Police said they were performing a wellness check on Lewis’ residence after a 911 call from staff at Canadian publication The Spectator.

Beck said the publication was receiving suspicious messages from two email accounts – both linked to Johnathan Lewis.

The first message came at 8 pm on 6 August (local time) and continued until the next day.

Reportedly one email said, “Funeral people need to get here quick. My dad is starting to decline.”

Another said, “Now I just want to get help for my sickness and give my dad a proper burial. He didn’t deserve this”.

An autopsy is set to be performed along with “additional steps” to determine the cause of death properly.

The only other family member to speak out was Johnathan’s brother Brian Lewis who said, “We ask that you respect our privacy at this time,” according to The Spectator.

Lewis’ band Teenage Head announced the news on their Instagram on Tuesday.

“We are heartbroken and still trying to process the loss of our friend, bandmate and brother Gord Lewis Our hearts are with his family and all that knew and loved him,” the statement said.

“Gord was a force and an inspiration to many.

“You were taken from us far too soon.”

Lewis’ death is not the first for the rock band they lost another member, their drummer Frankie Venom in 2008 after a battle with throat cancer.

Teenage Head first began in 1975 when the band members were still in high school.

The band is best known for their songs Let’s Shake and Some Kinda Fun.

The addition of British home cooking queen Nigella Lawson to MKR’s judging team has been a huge hit, with viewers praising her grace, class, beauty and cooking insights.

But they are also blown away by her age, with many fans revealing they thought she was about 20 years younger than she actually is.

Lawson turned 62 in January this year – a fact that some fans are having trouble understanding.

“Can someone explain to me how Nigella Lawson can look so stunning ALL THE TIME?” one MKR viewer wrote on Twitter.

“She (is) 62yo and looks 42.

“What kind of witchcraft is she performing!”

“Gosh I didn’t know her age she’s a stunning human,” one follower answered.

“She literally has looked the same for 20yrs!

“Look at her neck, not a single wrinkle – I’m telling you, forget what ppl tell you, endulge (sic) in butter and cream and sweets, and chocolate and lush velvety rich sauces – and live and look like #QueenNigella! ”

“If I don’t age like Nigella Lawson, I don’t want to get old at all,” another observed.

Another simply wrote: “Nigella Lawson is 62. I refuse to accept this.”

Lawson said her trick to looking youthful was staying out of the sun – and eating “lots of fats.”

“I think what ages a face most is disappointment and a lack of enjoyment,” she once said.

“So I try to do what I love.”

Lawson has been famous for a lot longer than many people realize, however.

She shot to fame in the 1990s with her first cookbook and her TV career began in 1999 with the show Nigella Bites.

She’s since amassed a legion of fans who love the pleasure she takes in cooking and eating food.

“Not only is she a bona fide food-lover & relatable to all us home cooks but it’s her personable nature, positive energy, insightfulness & unique way with words that makes her so endearing,” one MKR viewer wrote on Twitter.

“Oh Nigella just brings so much warmth to this new season of MKR!” another noted.

Others have noted the nice rapport between Lawson and long-term judge Manu Feildel.

Speaking to 7Entertainment, Feildel said he was “thrilled” to be working with Lawson, whom he described as a “lovely” person.

Feildel said while he was a trained chef and Lawson a home cook, they both felt the same way about what made a great meal.

“We’re pretty much on the same page when it comes to that, actually,” he said.

“It doesn’t matter if you’re a home cook or if you’re a chef – I think if you love food, you know what’s right and what’s wrong.

“I might know a bit more about technical ways of cooking something, but at the end of the day, the judging is pretty much about putting a fork of food in your mouth and you either like it or you don’t.

“It’s that simple.”

Time is ticking for our teams to finish their main bathrooms, and they need to move fast if they want any chance of winning the biggest prize in Block history.

With a $250,000 kitchen upgrade on offer for the winning team, the stakes in the first week have never been higher.

But not everything is going to plan, and last-minute renovation dramas are causing major disruptions as teams scramble to complete their waterproofing.

After being thrown into the show last-minute, following Joel and Elle’s shock exit, Rachel and Ryan are still settling into Block life.

After finding out their plans of having a walk-in shower in their bathroom didn’t meet regulations, the couple needed to come up with a solution fast. While a quick fix is closing the wet area by adding a built-in shower screen, Rachel isn’t willing to compromise.

“That wasn’t ever an option for us… it was going completely against the aesthetic of our design,” she says.

EPISODE THREE RECAP: Foreman Keith shuts one team’s site down after someone else ‘snitches’ on them

Luckily the pair end up making major alterations to the floor to meet regulations. And it is a massive sigh of relief when the Blockheads get the tick of approval from Foreman Keith.

But it’s a different situation over in House 4.

Dylan and Jenny’s plans get tripped up by the exact same regulations as they’re told they can’t have a walk-in shower without making changes to their floor.

“If we did that, we wouldn’t be able to finish,” Jenny admits.

“When you have something in your head, I hate things changing but I feel like it’s The Block so I’m gonna have to get used to that.”

In House 5 Omar and Oz have big plans for their bathroom, so the last thing they want to hear is that their floor needs to be ripped up and redone to meet safety standards.

Foreman Keith pays them a visit to deliver the bad news.

“The floor was a little big staggered next to the shower side so he told us we had to pull off some sheets and redo that again as well,” Omar says.

Keith tells the boys that there’s no other option but to start again and the boys start to worry about how far behind they’re falling.

“That was very disappointing. We’re gonna be waterproofing on Friday. We’re so far behind,” Omar reveals.

But the pair somehow manage to get back on track and redo the whole space in time to waterproof.

Meanwhile reno rookies Ankur and Sharon, who were comfortably ahead, are also hit with a massive setback.

“We thought we were in a good spot then everything started to go downhill,” Ankur reveals.

Foreman Keith pulls Ankur aside and raises his concerns about their waterproofer priming the floor with mud.

The situation becomes worse after the same waterproofer leaves the job later that night without finishing.

Sharon reveals she had to beg the company to send someone back, and the same tiler ends up returning at 1.30am to get the job done.

“You can imagine how awkward that was ’cause he didn’t want to be there in the first place. We had to watch with an eagle-eye to make sure the waterproofing was done to the standard The Block requires,” Sharon says.

The following morning a tired Sharon smokes after finding out she was bumped down in the queue to have her underfloor heating installed.

“Ours was supposed to be first but some d–kheads cut the line,” she vents to Rachel. “I don’t know how they do that.”

But we do, and so does Jenny in House 4.

“Last night I called the underfloor heating guys and said, ‘What can I do for you? So you can come earlier’ and he said, ‘You can buy me some cruisers’,” she reveals.

She delivers a case of cruisers and the tradies deliver on their promise to install her underfloor heating first.

“Jenny is good. She bribed them with a slab of cruisers,” Sarah-Jane reveals. “I respect the hustle… and I was like, ‘I’ll be on the cruisers next week’,” she adds.

Over at House 1, Tom and Sarah-Jane scramble to track down an emergency shower screen after finding out their original 2.4-meter one didn’t comply. They finally manage to secure a screen, but the next challenge they’re faced with is getting the tick of approval from Foreman Keith.

It’s an anxious wait for Sarah-Jane who is itching to leave the site and spend the afternoon celebrating her daughter Cleo’s first birthday.

But Keith calls the plastering “beautiful” and gives them the green light to start waterproofing.

The couple race off to visit their baby daughter and it’s a beautiful moment as the family sing ‘Happy Birthday’ to Cleo and share a cake together.

“It was so good to see Cleo… I picked her up and she had a grin ear to ear,” Tom reveals.

“Mummy misses you so much,” Sarah-Jane tells the baby girl, who happily picks up and hands her dad the entire cake.

With the teams back on track after finally finishing waterproofing their bathrooms, Shelley Craft meets all the contestants and does her first walkarounds with Scotty.

It’s bad news for Rachel and Ryan who get a reality check after Shelley questions their contemporary style of bathroom with no nod to the heritage era of their house.

Meanwhile Oz and Omar are understandably star-struck when they meet Shelley. Oz gets goosebumps and can hardly talk.

Scotty and Shelley worry that the teams aren’t hitting the mark with their rooms, and are particularly worried about Omar and Oz’s bathroom being finished in time.

It’s a hectic couple of days and our Blockheads are all working hard to deliver the first room on The Block. Stay tuned to see what they deliver on Sunday.
