ST. PETERSURG, Fla. — A Florida prosecutor vowed Sunday to fight his suspension from office by Gov. Ron DeSantis over his promise of him not to enforce the state’s 15-week abortion ban and support for gender transition treatments for minors.
Andrew Warren, a Democrat suspended last week from his twice-elected post as state attorney in Hillsborough County, which includes Tampa, said in a Facebook video message and news release Sunday he plans a “vigorous defense” by his legal team but did not give specifics.
“I’m not going down without a fight,” Warren said on the video. “I refuse to let this man trample on your freedoms to speak your mind, to make your own health care decisions, and to have your vote count.”
Warren was suspended Thursday by DeSantis, a Republican seeking re-election in November and potential 2024 presidential candidate, who cited neglect of duty and other alleged violations. The governor contended that’s because Warren signed statements with dozens of other prosecutors nationwide vowing not to pursue criminal cases against people who seek or provide abortions or gender transition treatments.

Warren contended Sunday the governor was essentially seeking to nullify the will of voters in the Tampa area who elected him in 2016 and 2020.
The newly announced FX series from be quiet! also includes a new air cooler. with the Pure Rock 2 fx, be quiet! now brings an RGB variant of the very popular Pure Rock 2 CPU cooler on the market. I was already allowed to test it and now share my experience in this Pure Rock 2 FX review.
Design & Workmanship
Both the heatpipes and the cooling fins are made of aluminum and the cover plate of the Pure Rock 2 FX are coated in the plain be quiet!black. However, a 120 mm Light Wing PWM high-speed fan is found in the box here as the fan for the CPU cooler. This gives the otherwise monochromatic CPU cooler some colorful flair and can be coupled with the other components of the PC through ARGB in color.
Included with the Pure Rock 2 FX are the Light Wings high-speed fan and heatsink, for one, as well as brackets for mounting the fan and socket adapters for AMD and Intel sockets.
The Pure Rock 2 FX combines four heatpipes in a contact surface made of copper. This is also already factory coated with a white thermal paste, and covered with a plastic protector. The copper contact surface ensures good heat transfer from the processor to the cooler. The heatpipes then transport this heat to the thin metal fins, where it is absorbed by the air and dissipated. In this regard, heat pipes are among the most efficient methods of heat transfer due to the evaporation and condensation of a medium inside the tube.
Therefore, good airflow across the heat sink is important, as it is the only way to exchange warm air and direct fresh air to the cooling fins. The new Light Wings high-speed fan is well suited for this while remaining extremely quiet.
Installation
The Pure Rock 2 FX is compatible with AM4, AM5, as well as Intel 1700, 1200, 2066, 1150, 1151, 1155 and 2011 sockets. The installation of the Pure Rock 2 FX is done quickly. First, the included socket adapter from be quiet! needs to be installed. This is the most fiddly and time-consuming step of the build. After that, the cooler can already be placed on the processor and screwed tight to the adapter. The actual fan is then only clamped to the fins of the cooler via two metal clips. Due to the slightly slanted cooler design, be quiet! prevents complications with the RAM and also without dismantling the CPU cooler, the sticks can be changed.

Performance
For the Pure Rock 2 FX test, I used the Cinebench R23 benchmark. The test system used consisted of a Ryzen 7 5800X, Nvidia RTX 3080 FE, 16 GB Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO DDR4 3200 MHz memory and MSI B550-A Pro motherboard. During the benchmark, the slightly overclocked processor reached 90.3 °C under full load. That is a bit too warm for my demands, but the 5800X did not get into thermal throttling anyway, but increased temperatures can lead to premature failure of the processor. Be quiet! specifies the maximum power of the cooler at 150 watts – the maximum speed at 2000 rpm. However, I would recommend a slightly larger air cooler or an AIO for a hot head like the 5800X or CPUs with a comparable or higher TDP.
Comparison of the Cinebench R23 benchmark between the be quiet! Pure Loop 2 FX AIO and the Pure Rock 2 FX air cooler with an AMD Ryzen 7 5800X. On the x-axis is the time. The y-axis shows the temperature of the processor. The data of the AIO is shown in red, that of the air cooler in green. The room temperature during the measurements was about 26 °C. MX-4 from Arctic was used as the thermal compound.
Other than that, the performance is extremely respectable, especially for the size of the cooler and the single fan. The temperature difference to the AIO is only 5.7 °C. Especially for mid-range processors, the cooling performance is well suited.
Loudness
What surprised me especially positively during the Pure Rock 2 FX test is the volume. When I ran the benchmark above, I first thought something wasn’t working right – I could perceive virtually no difference in volume. Then when I leaned down to check, I saw that the fan was running at full speed. So in terms of volume, there is absolutely nothing to worry about with the Pure Rock 2 FX. So even for a silent PC build, it is a very good choice.

be quiet! Pure Rock 2 FX review: conclusion
Regularly, the Pure Rock 2 FX is available from be quiet! for €52.90. In the offer already for €39.90, which makes it one of the cheapest CPU coolers on the market. Therefore, it is worth considering especially for cheaper PCs.
As the successor to the Pure Rock 2the Pure Rock 2 FX establishes itself as an inexpensive choice that nevertheless makes no compromises in terms of volume and design. Especially when the budget does not leave much room, but you also do not want to do without RGB, the Pure Rock 2 FX is a great choice.

It’s a Monday, and hopefully not a manic one — but if you need a few minutes to yourself, there’s a fresh wordle just for you (And the thousands of other daily players.) If you get stuck, that’s where our daily wordle help can come in handy.
The answer to the August 8 wordle, puzzle #415, can be found at the end of this article. Before you get there, though, there are a couple of subtle clues to help you narrow it down, and as you scroll down, you’ll see we’ve gathered a selection of the best tips and strategies from our previous reporting to help you. Cada dia.
where did wordle eat from?
Former Reddit engineer Josh Wardle came up with the game in 2021 as a private exercise for him and his word game-loving partner. It eventually became a staple of their family WhatsApp messaging, and that’s when Wardle started to suspect he might have something special enough to merit a wider release.
Thousands of people around the globe now play this game each day, and fans have even created alternatives to wordle inspired by the original format. This includes music identification game hearleHollywood nerd faves actorle and Framedand variations like sleep and Quordle that make you guess multiple words at eleven.
Not the day you’re after? You’ll find the wordle answer for August 7 here.
What’s the best wordle starting word?
We have some ideas to help you pick the perfect first move. Such tips include choosing a word with at least two different vowels to rule those building blocks in or out, plus a few common consonants such as S, T, R, or N.
Also, even if you’re attached to your mathematically sound starter, once it’s been the answer on any given day it won’t be the answer again for a few years — so if you happen to get the elusive 1/6 result, celebrate by swapping out your starting five.
What happened to the wordle file?
While you could once play the entire archive of past puzzles, the archive was taken down at the request of the New York Timesaccording to the site’s creator.
Es wordle getting harder?
If you’ve been finding wordle too easy, there is a Hard Mode you can enable to give yourself more of a challenge. But unless you activate this mode, we can assure you that wordle isn’t getting harder.
Why are there two different wordle answers some days?
The whole point of wordle is that everyone’s solving the same puzzle, with the same answer, no matter where you are in the world. However, occasionally the puzzle game will accept two different correct solutions on the same day. This aberration is due to changes the New York Times began making after it acquired wordle earlier this year, excising words form Wardle’s original list that the team considers obscure or potentially offensive.
To make sure you’re always getting the same puzzle as everyone else, refresh your browser before you play — don’t worry, the site will keep your streak.

The final was a replay of the one played at Gold Coast 2018.
Canada’s Sarah Pavan and Melissa Humana-Paredes successfully defended their Commonwealth women’s Beach Volleyball title with a 2-1 comeback victory over Australia.
The final, which was a replay of the one played at Gold Coast 2018, saw the Canadian duo get the better of rivals Mariafe Artacho del Solar and Taliqua Clancy for their second-successive Commonwealth final.
The Australians took a first-set lead after dominating to edge a 24-22 scoreline, but 2019 world champions Pavan and Humana-Paredes struck back to take the next two 21-17 and 15-12 respectively to seal victory at Smithfield.
Vanuatu beat New Zealand to seal the final place on the podium as Gold Coast bronze medalists Miller Pata and Sherysyn Toko saw off Alice Zeimann and Shaunna Polley2-1.
On winning her second-consecutive Commonwealth bronze medal, Vanuatu’s Pata was filled with pride and dedicated it to her children.
She said: “I am really proud to win my second medal. I am very happy, I don’t even know how to explain it.
“I dedicate it to my two kids back home. I have a boy and a girl, they are probably sleeping now, but I spoke to them before the match and they said: ‘good luck, mom’.
I am really proud to win my second medal. I am very happy
“I know they are proud of me and I miss them, I have been away for three months, but now I get to go home and see them.
“We came up strong and fought for every point.
“I need to thank my partner, she was a hero today and this is her first medal, so I am very proud of her.”
Four people were killed and two others seriously injured in Texas when an alleged drunk driver blew a stop sign and caused a collision, cops said.
The two adults and two kids were traveling in a golf cart in Galveston when Miguel Espinoza, 45, allegedly flew through a stop sign and hit both the cart and a pickup truck at around 11:30 pm Saturday, according to Galveston police.
The golf cart driver was pronounced dead at the scene, while a woman and two juvenile passengers were rushed to an area hospital, where all three died.
The two remaining passengers, an adult and a juvenile, remain hospitalized in critical condition Sunday, police said.
Espinoza, of Rosenberg, TX, and his passenger suffered minor injuries and were treated in the hospital and released.
Espinoza was subsequently charged with four counts of intoxication manslaughter. He is being held in Galveston County jail on a $400,000 bond, police said.
The occupants of the pickup truck were unharmed.
The victims’ names and ages have not yet been released. Galveston police said they are members of two different families who had rented the golf cart, which they were legally driving on the city street.
Golf carts have become a popular transportation mode in the resort area roughly 50 miles southeast of Houston and city officials have created ordinances aimed at making them safer.
Arc System Works has released the results of a certain survey regarding Guilty Gear Strive. Fans of the series were asked which playable characters they’d like to play in Guilty Gear Strive in the future. Those who were able to fill out the survey were able to select up to three choices.
This question was asked of the five regions — North America, South America, Europe, Japan, and Korea. Needless to say, a top 10 list for each region was created as a result.
It seems that the overall winners across all five regions were Slayer and Johnny. Slayer ended up placing in first place in the North American and European regions. He also made second, fourth, and seventh in the South American, Korean, and Japanese regions respectively.
Fans had the option to suggest that a guest character join Guilty Gear Strive’s roster. Although this idea made the top 10 for the North American, South American, and European regions, this concept didn’t break the top 10 for the Japanese and Korean regions.
It seems that both the Japanese and Korean regions would rather see Order Sol rejoining the fight than to have a guest character get added. Outside of these two regions, Order Sol only made tenth place in the South American region.
Despite having a major role in the Guilty Gear storyline, Asuka only made the top 10 in the European, Japanese, and Korean regions. Even then, it’s worth noting that Asuka placed ninth and tenth in the European and Korean regions respectively.
As it was revealed recently with the Guilty Gear Strive Season 2 roadmap, the first Season 2 DLC fighter coming to Guilty Gear Strive will be available before the end of Summer 2022, which should be relatively soon.
After the sixth DLC fighter is released in Summer 2022, we have the seventh character joining in Fall 2022. Following that, we’ll have to wait until 2023 for the eighth and ninth characters.
At least some of the DLC characters that have yet to be announced are likely to be popular choices from the survey. If Arc System Works is going purely by this survey, then we should probably expect Slayer and Johnny to join at some point.

There are fresh fears for the Queen’s health after she was forced to cancel an annual event in the royal calendar.
Her Majesty, 96, spends her summers at Balmoral in Scotland and traditionally holds a welcome ceremony outside the castle in Aberdeenshire.
But the event was on Sunday canceled and replaced with a smaller gathering, which saw her inspect troops with no TV cameras present.
It is the first time the Queen has skipped the event, with the exception of during the Covid pandemic.
“The traditional welcome to Balmoral is normally cemented in the Queen’s calendar and something Her Majesty really enjoys, being able to greet locals who travel to see her,” a source told the Daily Mirror.
“It’s a bitter disappointment the ceremony will not take place in its traditional form.”
Another insider grimly warned the Queen’s absence was “very much a sign of things to come”.
Buckingham Palace said the Queen’s schedule was being adjusted for her comfort.
At some recent royal engagements, Her Majesty has been seen using a cane to help her get around.
She usually stays at Balmoral until October, but it is understood that she will make a brief return to London – either at Buckingham Palace or at Windsor – on September 6 when Boris Johnson hands in his resignation as Prime Minister of the UK.
Her Majesty will then welcome the winner of the Conservative Party’s leadership contest, which will be either Foreign Secretary Liz Truss or former Chancellor Rishi Sunak.
She is then expected to return to Scotland.
Queen was forced to pull out of Royal Ascot – one of her favorite events in the royal calendar, earlier this year.
She had attended every meet since ascending to the throne in 1952.
The monarch was replaced by Prince Charles, Camilla and Peter Phillips.
Her Majesty was also absent from the Epsom Derby and a service at St Pauls’s Cathedral during her Platinum Jubilee celebrations, but appeared on the Buckingham Palace balcony for a fly-past.
Before that, she attended the Chelsea Flower Show with the help of a mobility scooter.
The Queen’s health issues appeared to start last year, when she was forced to miss the Remembrance Day service with a sprained back.
She later came down with Covid, but continued to hold meetings via videolink.
Eliesa Katoa felt he had better playing opportunities away from the Warriors next season.
Eliesa Katoa will be given a release from his Warriors contract at the end of the year to join the Melbourne Storm.
The 22-year-old back rower asked the Warriors recently if he could talk to other clubs, even though he is under contract until the end of the 2024 season.
That permission was granted and Stuff understands that the Storm and Dolphins were the clubs most willing to pick him up.
Katoa chose the Storm feeling there were better opportunities for him in Melbourne, so Wayne Bennett’s Dolphins missed out on yet another player they wanted to sign.

Katoa’s NRL career started with a bang in 2020, having a sensational first year at the Warriors.
During that season the Warriors gave him an upgraded contract, which at the time ran for longer than any other player at the club.
Jason Obrien/NRL
Eliesa Katoa’s career started with a bang at the Warriors in 2020.
But the past two seasons he’s failed to kick on as he continues to learn more about league, having come from a rugby union background in Tonga.
He has been in and out of the Warriors team this year and recently has often been named as the 18th man. Last weekend against the Rabbitohs he missed out altogether.
It’s been said that Katoa was a victim of the Warriors being stuck in Australia for three years and that without the club having its own reserve grade team and needing to travel with 22 players each week, he wasn’t able to develop naturally and had to do it in first-grade footy.
The Warriors have recruited a number of back rowers over the last couple of years and next season have Marata Niukore joining from the Eels, Dylan Walker coming from the Sea Eagles and the Knights’ Mitch Barnett also switching to the Warriors.
Those arrivals would have put Katoa further down the pecking order of incoming coach Andrew Webster, while it frees up a spot in the roster for the club to strengthen in another position.
Webster won’t start with the Warriors until he has finished his commitments with the Panthers this year and it’s the same for incoming general manager of recruitment Andrew McFadden from the Raiders.
The person who’s currently doing McFadden’s job, Craig Hodges, is leaving the Warriors at the end of the season and even though he’s departing, Warriors CEO Cameron George says work is still continuing on next year’s roster.
“Craig is still working with the Warriors and hasn’t got a contract with any other club for 2023,” George said.
“There is contact with Andrew Webster and Andrew McFadden from time to time when it’s applicable, to discuss personnel.
“When you look at what we’ve got next year, at this stage we’ve only got one spot, so there isn’t a great deal to be done there.”
Meanwhile, halfback Ronald Volkman won’t play again this season because of a shoulder injury, which requires an operation.
“Ronald has had some minor shoulder instability episodes over his career, the most recent being late in the game against Wests Tigers,” Warriors head of performance Balin Cupples said.
“For his age and at this stage of his NRL career we need to act on these to give him the best long-term outcomes.”

If today a week ago we learned about the first desktops with intel Arc graphics that could reach the international market, several systems assembled by ASUS and MSI, today we know of another of the greats that also joins the international expansion of Intel graphics adapters, so far only available in small quantities in very specific Asian markets, while the rest of the world is waiting with great interest.
Specifically, as we can read in Videocardz, lThe third technology to join this movement is Acer, with a review of the Acer N50-640a gaming system located between the entry and mid-range range that, in the most current configuration, mounts an Intel Core i5-12400F, 16 gigabytes of DDR4 RAM, 500 gigabytes of SSD storage and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1650 graphics card, although it is also possible to find another version that mounts a GeForce GT 1030.
And it is that, as we can read on said website, Acer already accepts advance orders for new configurations of the Acer N50-640 in which we can choose between an Intel Arc Alchemist A380, which we already saw in the ASUS and MSI teams, but also with an Arc A310. The team file can be found on the Acer website, but what is more interesting is that this Acer N50-640 with the Intel A380 has appeared on the list of the French retailer Boulanger.
It will still be necessary to wait, yes, because according to the retailer’s website this team will not be available until between the 8th and the 12th of October, depending on the store chosen for this purpose. However, customers who want it can already book it and, if you’re thinking about it, its price is €949.99which does not seem like a bad price, considering that we are talking about the top-of-the-range graphics card of this first generation of Intel Arc.
Over the past few weeks we have been able to hear quite a bit of noise about the status of the Intel Arc Alchemist project, with voices even suggesting that Intel would have canceled the project due to unsolvable technical problems (at least in this first generation). It is indisputable that, for whatever reason or reasons, there are some delays, but in my opinion (which is just that, an opinion) I have a hard time believing that major manufacturers such as ASUS, MSI and Acer are already pointing at the arrival of the expected Arc if there really is so much sea in the background.
It seems, therefore, that September and October will be key months to know what this first generation of Intel Arc is about. I think that some problems may have indeed arisen, but I also have the impression (and I hope I’m not wrong) that the situation is not as extreme as some paint it and that, therefore, Alchemist will debut globally in the short term , thus enriching the market for graphics adapters.
