Victoria Beckham, Nicola Peltz feud: Brooklyn Beckham addresses report in Variety interview

Brooklyn Beckham claims all is well amid the ongoing feud between his mother, Victoria Beckham, and his new wife, Nicola Peltz.

“I’ve learned they’re always going to try to write stuff like that,” the 23-year-old Brit told Variety in their latest “Power of Young Hollywood” issue. “They’re always going to try and put people down. But everyone gets along, which is good.”

Peltz — who married the cook this past April — also attempted to deny any drama with her designer mother-in-law, but mused that she thinks the buzz started when she didn’t wear a Victoria Beckham-brand gown on her wedding day, opting for Valentino.

“I was going to and I really wanted to, and then a few months down the line, she realized that her atelier couldn’t do it, so then I had to pick another dress,” Peltz, 27, revealed during the interview.

“She didn’t say you can’t wear it; Ella i did n’t say ella I did n’t want to wear it. That’s where it started, and then they ran with that.”

However, sources told Page Six that the young beauty and the Spice Girls singer-turned fashionista, “can’t stand each other and don’t talk,” adding that, “The build-up to the wedding was horrendous” because Peltz didn’t want Beckham, “ to be any part of the planning, and she wouldn’t clue Victoria in on anything. Communication was minimal.”

Palm Beach-based insiders also suggested that “cultural differences between the two families” is also to blame for the reported tension as Peltz’s father is billionaire investor Nelson Peltz.

“It’s pretty obvious there’s an issue between the two families. Everybody needs to find their place. They’re just not quite connecting yet.”

Football news 2022: Mohamed Buya Turay misses wedding, brother steps in

A footballer missed his own wedding day in order to report to a new team.

Mohamed Buya Turay wasn’t there on his big day as he was agreeing to a different type of contract instead, The Sun reports.

The Sierra Leone international signed for Swedish side Malmo this summer after a spell in China.

And Malmo were so keen for the 27-year-old to link up with the squad as soon as possible they made him miss his own wedding.

Although Turay made sure bride Suad Baydoun wasn’t on her own – by sending his brother to take his place instead.

The forward was unveiled as a Malmo player on July 22, with Turay’s wedding taking place a day earlier, minus the groom.

Luckily the happy couple had cleverly taken wedding photos before the star was forced to jet to Sweden.

Turay hilariously told Swedish outlet Afton Bladet: “We got married on July 21 in Sierra Leone.

“But I wasn’t there because Malmo asked me to come here earlier.

“We took the pictures in advance. So it looks like I was there but I wasn’t. My brother had to represent me at the wedding itself.”

Turay admitted that he still hasn’t been reunited with his now wife.

He continued: “I will try to get her to Sweden and Malmo now so she can be close to me. She will live here with me.”

The forward is now hoping he will be around to make it on the plane for his honeymoon.

But he is eyeing a league title triumph beforehand.

Turay concluded: “First we have to win the league and then I go on my honeymoon.”

The forward made his Malmo debut in the Europa League qualifying stages in midweek.

Victoria Beckham ‘can’t stand’ Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz

There’s a full-on cold war between Victoria Beckham and her new daughter-in-law, Nicola Peltz, Page Six has learned.

Peltz, 27, just married Brooklyn Beckham, 23 – Victoria’s oldest son with soccer superstar David Beckham – back in April. But we hear trouble was brewing even before the nuptials.

“They can’t stand each other and don’t talk,” a source close to the family told us. “The build-up to the wedding was horrendous.”

The source says that Peltz – who is the actress daughter of New York billionaire Nelson Peltz – didn’t want her soon-to-be-mother-in-law “to be any part of the planning, and she wouldn’t clue Victoria in on anything. Communication was minimal.”

Apparently, the cold shoulder didn’t help Posh Spice, 48 – who was struggling to warm up to the new member of the family as it was – see Peltz’s good side.

They added that it’s become “non-stop petty drama,” and it’s coming between the Beckhams, who now live in Miami, and their model son.

“They haven’t spoken to him much in the last few months,” said a source, who told us that it even went over badly at Chez Becks when Brooklyn posted a cover of British magazine Tatler that called Peltz “The New Mrs Beckham” .

The sources suspect that Peltz may be suffering from a little jealousy about her man’s globally renowned mum, and isn’t thrilled with the attention she gets, especially around her wedding day.

Peltz and Victoria Beckham were contacted for comment.

Alan Fletcher reveals major career change after Neighbors finale

Neighbors veteran Alan Fletcher is the third longest serving actor in Australian soap opera history, having starred on the iconic soap for almost three decades.

And after the long-running show’s emotional finale last week, which saw viewers say farewell to the residents of Ramsay Street after 37 years on-air, the 65-year-old actor is considering a major career change.

Fletcher, who had played Dr Karl Kennedy since 1994, told Magic Radio’s breakfast-show: “Now that I’ve finished neighborsI’m thinking about actually going into medicine.”

The Perth-born TV star added he had always tried to keep his personal life separate from his on-screen persona, but was now having a change of heart.

“While I’ve been on neighborsI religiously don’t give medical advice, because I’m really worried about the authorities tracking me down,” he joked.

It comes after Fletcher’s co-star Ryan Moloney, who had played Jarrod “Toadie” Rebecchi on the show since 1995, revealed his own big career move away from the small screen.

The 42-year-old actor said he was planning to settle into post-neighbors life as a humble tradition.

“I’m not ruling anything out,” Moloney told The Daily Telegraph. “I’m doing civil construction course which is about driving excavators and building roads.”

Moloney added: “I like playing with those kinds of machines. I like doing earthworks, all that kind of manual labor stuff.

“That’s where I’m at, but who knows where it’s all going to end up?”

After 37 years and 8903 episodes, neighbors finally drew to a close in a tear-jerking finale last week.

The nostalgia-filled episode saw the return of Australia’s brightest names who got their big break on the soap opera, including Kylie Minogue, Guy Pearce, Holly Valance, Natalie Imbruglia, Delta Goodrem, and the show’s most famous alumna, Margot Robbie.

Up to 3 million people tuned into the finale in the UK, while almost 900,000 viewers watched in Australia.

It was announced in March that neighbors was being axed after Australian production company Fremantle media failed to find a new broadcast partner, following UK network Channel 5’s decision to withdraw its partnership.

Channel 5 had been covering the majority of the production bill.
