Elon Musk’s father has back-pedaled on his comments about his billionaire son after he said he wasn’t proud of his famous offspring.

During the latest episode of Piers Morgan Uncensoredavailable to stream on Flash, Errol Musk, 76, addressed the stunning remark and said he was misquoted.

“I never said anything like that,” he said on the show.

“I have been proud of him since the day he was born.

“A person doesn’t suddenly become proud of your child. That’s ridiculous.

“As far as saying, I don’t like him. I mean, that’s crazy. I love him.”

The elder Musk made headlines last week after he took a savage dig at the Tesla CEO.

In an interview with KIIS FM’s Kyle and Jackie Othe South African engineer dismissed his son’s success.

“Your offspring is a genius. He’s worth so much money and has created so many things, you can’t take that away from him. Are you proud? Jackie O asked.

“Nope. You know, we are a family that have been doing a lot of things for a long time, it’s not as if we suddenly started doing something,” Errol replied.

The 76-year-old also took a swipe at his son’s physical appearance while discussing recent shirtless photos of Elon on a yacht in Greece.

“Elon is very well-built and he is very, very strongly built, but he’s been eating badly,” he said.

Errol said he had recommended his son take a weight loss supplement called garcinia cambogia, which he claimed has helped him shed the kilos.

Elon is Errol’s eldest son with his ex-wife, model Maye Musk. The former couple also share are Kimbal and daughter Tosca.

Kevin Smith slams Warner Bros axing DC film Batgirl but still releasing The Flash

Director Kevin Smith has slammed Warner Bros for its decision to ax the upcoming comic book film Batgirl.

The cult filmmaker criticized the cancellation during the latest episode of his YouTube series, Hollywood Babble-On.

“It’s an incredibly bad look to cancel the Latina batgirl movie,” the 52-year-old said.

“I don’t give a sh*t if the movie was absolute f***ing dogs**t. I guarantee you that it wasn’t.

“The two directors [Bilall Fallah and Adil El Arbi] who directed that movie did a couple of episodes of mrs marveland it was a wonderful f***ing show.

“They had more money to do batgirl than they had to do an episode of mrs marvel and stuff.”

Initial reports suggested the film’s quality was so bad that it had been declared “irredeemable”.

Some reports also stated that since the film was a made-for-TV movie it looked “too cheap” upon release in theaters.

But the Jay And Silent Bob Strike Back star said he was skeptical of the rumour.

They said batgirl it looked too cheap because it was a $90 million movie,” he said.

“How do you make a cheap-looking $90 million movie?

“If it looked slightly better than an episode of Arrow then why couldn’t we see that?”

Smith went on to call the decision “baffling”, while he and co-host Ralph Garman questioned why the studio was still going ahead with Flashwhich stars controversial actor Ezra Miller.

the Fantastic Beasts star has been embroiled in multiple scandals in the past few months.

The 29-year-old, who uses they/them pronouns, was most recently charged with felony burglary in Vermont, US, over an incident at a residence on May 1 where bottles of alcohol were allegedly stolen while the homeowners weren’t home. The actor is due for arraignment on September 26.

In June, Miller was also accused by the parents of an 18-year-old of allegedly grooming their child with “cult-like” and “psychologically manipulative” behaviors, though the teen denied the accusations against the actor.

On top of that, Miller was arrested multiple times in Hawaii – first for disorderly conduct and harassment and then for second-degree assault – in March and April, respectively.

Miller also landed in hot water in 2020 after a video surfaced that appeared to show them choking a fan at a bar in Reykjavik, Iceland.

“That’s the baffling thing,” Smith said.

“I don’t give a sh*t how bad the batgirl movie is, nobody in that movie is complicated or has anything in their real life you have to market around.

“In Flash movie, we all know there’s a big problem! Flash is the Reverse-Flash in real life.”

Last week, a Hollywood insider disclosed that the batgirl cast were blindsided by Warner Bros’ decision to cancel the movie.

“They had no idea the movie was being shelved,” a film industry source told the new york post.

“That’s a giant problem.”

The insider added that the actors had told their teams that the situation had been “humiliating” and “disappointing” as they found out about the news in the media alongside fans.

Elon Musk has called Instagram a “next-level thirst trap” full of attractive women, and admitted that he stopped using the photo-sharing app after he found himself taking too many selfies.

“I was on Instagram for a while but I mean, so the problem is Instagram, man, it’s just a thirst trap, you know?” Musk said on an episode of the full send podcast last week, the new york post reports.

“Instagram is a next-level thirst trap.”

A co-host then asked Musk to clarify, “On the women side, right?”

“Yeah, yeah, totally,” replied Musk, who has fathered 10 children with three different women.

“But the thing is I found myself taking like a lot of selfies and sh*t and I’m like, what the f**k man. Why am I doing this?

Musk then said that he realized that he was wasting his time with the app and decided to delete his account.

“I’m like, oh I’m trying to get more likes and do selfies, I’m not gonna – I gotta stop,” he said.

Musk said that he now maintains a “secret Instagram account” that he uses to look at posts.

He said he prefers using Twitter to communicate with the public.

“Whatever message I’m trying to get across I can just post on Twitter,” Musk said.

Elon Musk reignites bitter feud with US politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez

Elon Musk has said US politician Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (AOC) has “great taste in lipstick” in an apparent reignition of his feud with the New York Congresswoman.

The Tesla CEO made the remark on a podcast called full-sendin which several co-hosts made comments about the 32-year-old politician’s appearance.

Two of the co-hosts called AOC “attractive,” then another said the New York Democrat was “all right,” the new york post reports.

Musk then chimed in, saying, “Yeah, great choice of lipstick I think. Great taste in lipstick, I mean, that’s my observation. That’s a genuine compliment.”

Musk then added, “Tell me I’m wrong,” before sipping an alcoholic seltzer and laughing alongside the podcast hosts.

AOC’s office did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Musk’s remarks.

The world’s richest man has a history of sparring with Ms Ocasio-Cortez.

In April, the politician tweeted: “Tired of having to collectively stress about what explosion of hate crimes is happening bc some billionaire with an ego problem unilaterally controls a massive communication platform.”

Musk responded: “Stop hitting on me, I’m really shy.”

Ms Ocasio-Cortez then said that she’d been referring to Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg – not Musk – then deleted the tweet.

She later posted a screenshot of her back-and-forth with Musk with a shrugging emoji and the caption: “Like I said, ego problems.”

Then in May, she said she was looking to ditch her Tesla Model 3, which she bought in 2020 for commutes between her New York City district and Washington DC She said she was looking to buy a car from a company that uses union labor.

“At the time, it was the only EV [electric vehicle] that could get me from New York to Washington on like one, or one-and-a-half charges,” she said of her Tesla. “I would love to switch.”

Musk, meanwhile, posted a Twitter poll asking his followers whether they have more trust in billionaires or politicians.

His followers chose billionaires – and Musk dared Ms Ocasio-Cortez to run the same poll with her own followers.

The Tesla CEO recounted the exchange on last week’s podcast episode, saying that Ms Ocasio-Cortez “was like coming after me or some bulls**t, I don’t know”.

“She was saying billionaires are evil and you’re a billionaire therefore you’re evil,” Musk said. “And I was like, well you’re a politician.

“People in glass houses shouldn’t throw stones,” he added.

The radio hosts shared their awkward encounters with Hollywood heavyweights this morning, recalling the shame of being rejected for photos in public.

For Wippa, it was spotting Remember The Titans star Denzel Washington in a restaurant overseas that led to his humiliation.

“We were at a restaurant overseas one time and Denzel Washington turned up to the restaurant,” he recalled.

“I started to make my way over to Denzel Washington to get a photo (and) the guy who ran the restaurant was like the middle man, so he jumped in between us and I’m going ‘Denzel! Photo?’

“So he jumps in, looks at Denzel and Denzel shakes his head as if to say no, the guy then looks at me and says no,” he said, adding: “It was so cold, and in front of everybody I just had to wander back to my seat.”

His story prompted Sarah and Fitzy to chime in with a similar fail involving Oscar-winner Leonardo DiCaprio, who they’d spotted out one night at LA’s Roosevelt Hotel when they were visiting the city.

“You’d had a few drinks, Sare, and I dared you to go over and (ask for a photo),” Fitzy began.

“He had his hat down, he had a cigarette in his mouth … the hand went up, ‘I don’t do photos’, and Sarah just turned around and came back,” he recalled, with Sarah joking that people should “be friendly at 3am”.

“And then I tried to get the sneaky (photo) on the side anyway and security got my phone,” Sarah added.

The radio stars don’t always strike out with celebrities, however, having formed a close friendship with British superstar Ed Sheeran.

Sheeran, 31, had made good on a promise from a recent interview in which he spoke about the similar phallic statuette he gave Elton John for his 74th birthday, offering to send one to the Nova hosts, too.

It turns out he wasn’t bluffing, with the two bestowed with their very own Aussie-themed versions.

“It’s a giant d**k in a box!” Wippa gleefully exclaimed as his co-host removed the stone appendage from its packaging on air in June, teasing, “It looks a bit like you!” as Fitzy struggled with its size.

Prince Harry was reportedly ‘snubbed’ by his father Prince Charles after he refused to discuss details of his upcoming memoir.

The memoir ie yet to be released but it is already causing tensions among senior members of the Royal Family.

The icy father-and-son moment occurred after the Duke of Sussex and his wife, Meghan Markle, stopped by to visit Windsor Castle on the way to the Invictus Games in Holland earlier this year.

According to royal expert Neil Sean, a source told him that “Harry refused to talk about what he put down in his book” during their brief meeting.

It reportedly resulted in Prince Charles brutally “icing” his son and stopping the meeting after just 10 minutes.

“We know Prince Charles spent very little time with his son Prince Harry,” Mr Sean said, according to The Daily Express.

“Charles wanted to have a one-to-one chat, but that ended up being a very brief meeting.

“According to a very good source, allegedly, Prince Harry refused to detail anything about his forthcoming memoir to Prince Charles.”

“The big sticking point this year, being the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee and the 75th year of Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, Charles doesn’t want any negativity.

“According to that good source, Harry refused to talk about what he put down in his book and how this will pan out.

“It has been pushed back, and Charles will have to wait and see like the rest of us.”

Last year, Harry announced that he’s writing a tell-all book about his life.

In a statement, the prince said he was excited to share an account of his life that’s “accurate and wholly truthful”.

“I’m writing this not as the Prince I was born but as the man I have become,” he said.

“I’ve worn many hats over the years, both literally and figuratively, and my hope is that in telling my story – the highs and lows, the mistakes, the lessons learned – I can help show that no matter where we come from, we have more in common than we think.

“I’m deeply grateful for the opportunity to share what I’ve learned over the course of my life so far and excited for people to read a firsthand account of my life that’s accurate and wholly truthful.”

Levin was asked if she thinks the former Suits actress is the victim of a media witch hunt.

“I don’t think it’s a witch hunt. We all loved her when we arrived, we were all thrilled Harry found someone to love and who loved him,” she said on the program

“I was one of the presenters of the wedding and I watched her with hawk eyes for 10 hours and I was thrilled to bits she joined the Royal Family.

“However, since then she’s rejected us very firmly.

“She’s rejected the country, it’s too small and she wants to talk globally.

“She’s rejected our Royal Family who most of us love and respect and I think she’s made a very difficult place for herself.

“One of the problems that I think is one of the causes is that Harry sees as an alternative to his mother and that she’s more like Diana than he could have possibly wished for.”

Princess Diana died in a car crash in Paris in 1997.

Twitter users were quick to hit back at Levin over her comments.

“Where does this woman dream up this nonsense…?!?!?,” one person wrote.

“Lord have mercy on this woman. They’re more issues in the world right now than H&M. Move on Angela,” another said.

“Meghan bashing on steroids there Angela. Leave this couple alone,” a third person wrote.

“He chose who he wanted to marry. You are not a happiness or marriage expert and should stop attacking Meghan.

“Well if not for Meghan some of us would never know you.”

A fourth person added: “Enough of this drivel.”
