My Kitchen Rules star Nigella Lawson’s real age has left viewers stunned

My Kitchen Rules fans have been left stunned by Nigella Lawson — and not just the star power, charisma and expertise she brings to the show.

The British chef has left viewers gobsmacked over her age.

It seems Lawson, who published her first cookbook in 1998 before breaking into TV with Nigella Bites in 1999, has a timeless beauty.

Because believe it or not, she is 62.

Lawson puts her youthful look down to staying out of the sun and eating “lots of fats.”

“I think what ages a face most is disappointment and a lack of enjoyment,” she said.

“So I try to do what I love.”

Lawson’s timeless look has left fans of Channel 7’s reality TV cooking show speechless.

“Look at her neck, not a single wrinkle — I’m telling you, forget what ppl tell you, endulge in butter and cream and sweets, and chocolate and lush velvety rich sauces — and live and look like #QueenNigella#MKR,” one wrote.

Another said: “Can someone explain to me how Nigella Lawson can look so stunning ALL THE TIME?

“She 62yo and looks 42. What kind of witchcraft is she performing!”

Yet another said: “If I don’t age like Nigella Lawson, I don’t want to get old at all.”

Since her first appearance on MKR on Sunday night, viewers have flocked to social media to dub her the “vital ingredient”.

After the exit of long-term judge Pete Evans, whose reputation took a tumble after his peddling of anti-vaxer conspiracy theories on social media, Manu Feildel has been paired with the British domestic goddess.

Their first episode saw them head to Victoria to taste the dishes of father-daughter duo Peter and Alice, and Lawson was clearly the star of the show, with the contestants even joking about giving her used cutlery to their family as gifts.

But when things fell apart in the kitchen, viewers really warmed to Lawson when she offered encouraging words.

“Nigella is the vital ingredient this show has been missing,” Twitter user Archie Banez wrote.

“Not only is she a bona fide food-lover & relatable to all us home cooks but it’s her personable nature, positive energy, insightfulness & unique way with words that makes her so endearing.”

Viewers also remarked on Lawson’s warm demeanour, while others said her presence encouraged them to tune in after not watching the show for years.

And she even won over the critics.

TV Writer Colin Vickery described Lawson as a “hoot” and “funnier and cheekier than on MasterChef”.

During the episode, Lawson showed her down-to-earth nature, ditching the cutlery to chomp at a lamb cutlet.

And while Peter and Alice’s home restaurant faced plenty of hurdles—and even a watery dessert fail—Lawson still tried to keep spirits high.

On Tuesday, Lawson took to Twitter to reply to some of the comments, saying that she was gutted for Peter and Alice.

“I was heartbroken for them. And hated the idea they would feel ashamed in any way,” she posted.

The 45-year-old took to Instagram on the weekend, asking followers to “help” her find a new man after she split from her Indonesian boyfriend.

In the post, Corby is pictured walking along the beach holding the hand of her ex-boyfriend, Ben Panangian, whose image has been scratched out.

“Looking for a new Four Leaf Clover,” the image is captioned.

“ATTENTION. Help a girl out – Get Tagging.”

The original photo is from 2019 when Corby and Panangian were on holiday together.

Corby was deported from Bali back to Australia in 2017 after spending almost a decade in a Balinese prison for drug smuggling.

She had maintained a long-distance relationship with Panangian, but things are clearly now over.

And Corby’s followers had a field day with her post.

“DM anytime, I’m here for ya,” one person wrote.

“I have a two-screen Netflix account and a wine club membership,” another offered.

Others tagged their friends in, with one person writing: “He’s a strapping young lad with an eye for a mature madam.”

The friend who had been tagged added: “Gimme a chance Schapelle.”

“She’s single and ready to mingle,” one person noted.

“Girl, pick me! I’m single,” another pleaded.

Corby met Panangian in prison in Bali in 2006.

Also convicted on drug offences, Panangian was released from prison in 2009.

Corby was paroled in 2014 and returned to Australia in 2017.

The couple spent the next two years meeting up in places where their criminal convictions weren’t an issue.

Corby is not allowed to return to Indonesia and it’s understood the pair hadn’t seen each other face-to-face since the COVID pandemic began.

Rumors that Corby would appear on the new season of The Bachelorette were quickly shot down by producers, who said they were not interested in having “celebrities” on the show next season.

“Two years ago, I had this weird, super-rare form of vasculitis,” Kutcher, 44, said in an upcoming episode of Running Wild with Bear Grylls: The Challenge, released by Access Hollywood.

“Knocked out my vision, knocked out my hearing, knocked out like all my equilibrium.

“It took me a year to build it all back up.

“You don’t really appreciate it until it’s gone, until you go, ‘I don’t know if I’m ever gonna be able to see again. I don’t know if I’m gonna be able to hear again, I don’t know if I’m going to be able to walk again.

“I’m lucky to be alive.

“The minute you start seeing your obstacles as things that are made for you, to give you what you need, then life starts to get fun, right?

“You start surfing on top of your problems instead of living underneath them.”

What is Vasculitis?

Kutcher shared his health journey with adventurer and presenter Bear Grylls as they hiked through brambles and trees.

Vasculitis occurs when the body’s immune system attacks veins, arteries and small capillaries.

Inflammation occurs as a result, which can have the effect of narrowing blood vessels and restricting blood flow.

This in turn can cause organ damage or prompt aneurysms.

If an aneurysm bursts, it can cause internal bleeding which can lead to death.

Vasculitis complications took the life of actor-director Harold Ramis in 2014.

According to the Australasian Society of Clinical Immunology and Allergy the disease is “relatively rare”.

Kutcher has kept a lower profile since taking a break in his career from 2014 to 2022.

Australian model Miranda Kerr reveals she walks barefoot on the grass to help with jet lag

Miranda Kerr walks “barefoot on the grass” to help her “reconnect” after a long flight.

The 39-year-old Australian model – who has Flynn, 11, with ex-husband Orlando Bloom and Hart, four, and two-year-old Myles with spouse Evan Spiegel – has revealed the way she copes with jet lag is to take the time to “rebalance” herself.

Speaking to PORTER, Miranda said: “I like to go for a walk outside when I arrive and, if possible, go barefoot on the grass to reconnect, ground myself and have a bit of time to rebalance. Melatonin is also great to help get you in the time zone.”

Victoria Beckham swears by magnesium, herbal tea, and sticking to an exercise routine no matter how tired you are.

The 48-year-old fashion designer told the publication: “Jet lag is really difficult. I try not to use any sleep medication – instead, I’ll take magnesium and have a herbal tea and try to go to sleep, but it’s easier said than done. If you are a working mum, you have to get up and power through. And I always do my workout – I never skip it, even when I feel incredibly tired, because it gives you more energy and gets you back into your routine. I don’t have the luxury of napping in the day, so I land and get straight into the time zone.”

A source told Page Six: “Pete is 28 and Kim is 41 – they are just in very different places at the moment.

“Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment’s notice. But Kim has four kids and it isn’t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids.”

The couple broke up after first being linked in October last year weeks after Kardashian made her hosting debut on Saturday Night Live, where the pair shared a kiss during a sketch.

Another source close to Heche told CNN “she’s lucky to be alive” and has severe burns.

The source said Heche should expect a long recovery ahead.

Heche’s car rammed into a garage, before speeding off and driving into a house in Los Angeles’ Westside shortly before 11AM on Friday, police said.

The car came to a stop inside the two-storey house and erupted in flames.

The fire took nearly 60 firefighters more than an hour to douse, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

She was originally in a ‘critical condition’, but friends have now said the actress is stable.

Police are still investigating the incident, however so far no other injuries have been reported, and no arrests have been made.

According to CNN, authorities are yet to question Heche about the circumstances of the incident due to the significant nature of her injuries.

She first came to prominence on the soap opera Another World from 1987 to 1991, in which she won a Daytime Emmy Award for the role.

In the autumn of 2000 soon after the two broke up, Heche was hospitalized after knocking on the door of a stranger in a rural area in California.

Authorities said she had appeared shaken and disoriented, and spoke incoherently to the residents.

In a memoir released the following year, Call Me Crazy, Heche talked about her lifelong struggles with mental health and a childhood of abuse.

Willow Smith has defended her dad’s infamous Oscars slap.

The 21-year-old said it is part of “humanness” to make errors after the 53-year-old actor stormed the stage of this year’s Academy Awards to whack stand-up comic Chris Rock, 57, for making a joke about his wife’s haircut.
