‘I’m thrilled to announce I am an ambassador for Beyond Blue’s first signature fundraising event, Big Blue Table,’ Julie wrote on Instagram.

‘Big Blue Table brings together two of my favorite things – cooking for friends and family and sharing meals and conversation at the table!’

‘Along with the mental health benefits of getting a group together over a meal, all funds raised during Big Blue Table go to Beyond Blue’s 24/7 Support Service.’

‘Couldn’t get a better person than you Julie Goodwin,’ one follower wrote.

Another added: ‘Sounds fabulous and you will be an amazing ambassador Julie.’

In July, Julie was eliminated from Fans VS Faves in a shock elimination.

The returning winner was sent home after her sticky date pudding, ice-cream and whiskey caramel sauce fell short during an elimination challenge in Tasmania.

She was soon dubbed a ‘national treasure’ by fans, after first winning the show back in 2009.

In June, Julie told Woman’s Day that she consulted her psychologist before agreeing to join MasterChef: Fans V Faves this year.

Julie has been open about her battle with anxiety and depression following her drink-driving arrest four years ago.

‘[My mental health] was a massive discussion when I was asked to do [MasterChef],’ the cookbook author explained.

‘I didn’t just say yes. I talked to my family, I talked to my psychologist, and it was a decision that was made in a very considered way because at the end of the day, I didn’t want to be back at the bottom of a dark place,’ she continued.

The mother of three, who spent five weeks at a mental health facility in 2020, worked out a coping strategy in case things became too mentally taxing.

‘They’ve worked around the filming schedule to allow me to still have my psychology appointments and to get out early in the morning to do my exercise. They touch base with me constantly to make sure I’m okay,’ she said.

If you or anyone you know is struggling with their mental health, please contact life line or Beyond Blue.

Williams has pleaded guilty to charges of blackmail and recklessly causing injury to Naumenko in the incident that followed, on July 9.

When Naumenko showed up he was told “you’re f—ed, it’s all over now” by the associates.

He was told “Roberta wants money now” before another man suggested they “kill the c— – he has no money”.

Naumenko’s father and sister each paid $1000 to the studio’s bank account and ownership of his mother’s car was signed over during the incident, in which he was beaten and threatened with a gun.

Williams later sent a text to one of the men, thanking him for his assistance.

During a plea hearing in Victoria’s County Court, prosecutors said Williams had agreed to participate in the frightening confrontation, and although she didn’t take part in the assault itself, she was complicit.

Williams, who replied: “53, I think” when asked her age, was supported in court by her daughter Dakota during a plea hearing last month. Details were suppressed until Friday.

Her lawyer said Williams’ criminal history ran almost parallel with events in her life.

“Types of offenses are consistent with points in her life – either unstable relationships, unstable accommodation, domestic situations, drug use situations,” she said.

“Since 2008 she has had a largely offense-free lifestyle.”

The court heard Williams is the carer for her son, who has significant disabilities.

Care of the boy is intensive and difficult and won’t end when he turns 18, the court heard.

“A degree of mercy applies here, if not in its full form,” Williams’ lawyer said.

The judge agreed and said prison was not an option.

Williams is due to be sentenced on August 26.

Prince William, Princess Charlotte fly chopper at Commonwealth Games in Birmingham

Prince William has taken the term “helicopter parent” to a whole new level.

Prince William, who previously served as a Royal Air Force search and rescue pilot, executed a perfect landing.

Footage of the royal arrival was uploaded to YouTube by Cobra Emergency — a channel featuring security, military, emergency vehicles, and other transport for enthusiasts.

Eagle-eyed fans spotted Charlotte waving to cameras as the chopper landed before a black Range Rover arrived and ferried the group away.

It seems there was no room in the aircraft for the Duchess of Cambridge who traveled to Birmingham by train with the other peasants.

It comes only weeks after the Queen reportedly scolded the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge for using the royal chopper too much.

Victoria Beckham ‘can’t stand’ Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz

There’s a full-on cold war between Victoria Beckham and her new daughter-in-law, Nicola Peltz, Page Six has learned.

Peltz, 27, just married Brooklyn Beckham, 23 – Victoria’s oldest son with soccer superstar David Beckham – back in April. But we hear trouble was brewing even before the nuptials.

“They can’t stand each other and don’t talk,” a source close to the family told us. “The build-up to the wedding was horrendous.”

The source says that Peltz – who is the actress daughter of New York billionaire Nelson Peltz – didn’t want her soon-to-be-mother-in-law “to be any part of the planning, and she wouldn’t clue Victoria in on anything. Communication was minimal.”

Apparently, the cold shoulder didn’t help Posh Spice, 48 – who was struggling to warm up to the new member of the family as it was – see Peltz’s good side.

They added that it’s become “non-stop petty drama,” and it’s coming between the Beckhams, who now live in Miami, and their model son.

“They haven’t spoken to him much in the last few months,” said a source, who told us that it even went over badly at Chez Becks when Brooklyn posted a cover of British magazine Tatler that called Peltz “The New Mrs Beckham” .

The sources suspect that Peltz may be suffering from a little jealousy about her man’s globally renowned mum, and isn’t thrilled with the attention she gets, especially around her wedding day.

Peltz and Victoria Beckham were contacted for comment.

Banksy painting found in Tel Aviv, 70 kilometers from its original location in West Bank

A long-lost painting by British graffiti artist Banksy has been resurfaced in an art gallery in downtown Tel Aviv, an hour’s drive and a world away from the concrete wall in the occupied West Bank where it was initially sprayed.

The relocation of the painting, which depicts a slingshot-toting rat and was likely intended to protest Israel’s occupation of the area, raises ethical questions about the removal of artwork from occupied territory.

The painting initially appeared near Israel’s separation barrier in the occupied West Bank city of Bethlehem and was one of several works created in secret around 2007.

Banksy’s trademark absurdist and dystopian imagery was used to protest Israel’s decades-long occupation of territories the Palestinians want for a future state.

It now resides at the Urban Gallery in the heart of Tel Aviv’s financial district, surrounded by glass and steel skyscrapers.

Israeli art dealer Koby Abergel, who bought the painting, said the gallery was simply displaying the work and leaving its interpretation to others.

“We brought it to the main street of Tel Aviv to be shown to the audience and to show his messages,” he said.

Mr Abergel said the cracks and scrapes in the concrete served as “a fingerprint” that proved it was the same piece that appeared on the artist’s website.

He said he bought the concrete slab from a Palestinian associate in Bethlehem, but declined to disclose how much he paid for it.

The 70-kilometre journey it made from the West Bank to Tel Aviv is shrouded in secrecy.

The concrete slab, which weighs about 400 kilograms, would have had to pass through Israel’s serpentine barrier and at least one military checkpoint.

The graffiti artwork was spray-painted on a concrete block that was part of an abandoned Israeli army position in Bethlehem, next to a soaring concrete section of the separation barrier.

Sometime later, the painting was itself subjected to graffiti by someone who obscured the painting and scrawled “RIP Bansky Rat” on the block.

Mr Abergel said Palestinian residents cut out the painting and kept it in private residences until earlier this year.

He said relocating the work involved delicate negotiations with his Palestinian associate and careful restoration to remove the acrylic paint sprayed over Banksy’s work.

The massive block was then enclosed in a steel frame so it could be lifted onto a flatbed truck and rolled through a checkpoint, until it arrived in Tel Aviv in the middle of the night.

It was not possible to independently confirm his account of his journey.

Israel controls all access to the West Bank, and Palestinians require Israeli permits to travel in or out and to import and export goods.

Even when traveling within the West Bank, they can be stopped and searched by Israeli soldiers at any time.

It comes after the blockbuster reached a new milestone, as it surpassed $600 million at the international box office last month.

The tally brings the sequel to more than $1.2 billion worldwide, solidifying it as Paramount Pictures’ ‘highest grossing film ever globally,’ as reported by Deadline.

The film, which was directed by Joseph Kosinski, is presently at $602.5M from 65 offshore markets.

And in North America it sits at $606 million, for a grand total of $1,208.5 billion globally.

It is only the 12th film to ever cross the $600 million mark at the domestic box office.

Internationally, Top Gun: Maverick holds the number three spot for the production company’s highest titles ever.

Meanwhile, in 28 overseas markets — including France, Australia, and the UK — the flick is the biggest Paramount live action movie ever.

Notably, this is the first film in Tom Cruise’s decades-long career to earn $1 billion.

Also notable is that Maverick outshined Titanic as Paramount’s number one domestic grossing film of all time.

The entertainment publication reported the week’s top offshore markets through Thursday as the UK with $88.8M, Japan with $65.4M, Australia with $55.9M, France $46M and Korea, $41.4M.

The film was originally supposed to be released in June 2020, but Paramount held off on the release until more fans were able to return following the pandemic lockdowns.

His Top Gun franchise took the global film market by storm, both in 1986 and 2022, but it’s not all for the big screen – as Tom has actually been a real life licensed pilot since 1994.

And while the jets were flown by someone else in the original flick, it was the actor in the driving seat for the recent sequel, Top Gun: Maverick.

The cast of the film underwent months of flying training in preparation for the role, as they took to the sky themselves for the scenes.

While Tom wasn’t allowed to fly an actual F-18 jet, he was the pilot of other planes during the film – and even had to figure out his own camera shots while in the plane, with no space for a director inside.
