Twitch star Timmy ‘iiTzTimmy’ An has, once again, been dominating in Apex Legends Season 14, but he’s got a few issues with the battle royale’s TTK.
Apex Legends Season 14: Hunted has brought about some of the biggest changes to Respawn Entertainment’s popular battle royale that we’ve seen in quite some time.
In addition to the new legend, Vantage, and the remodeling of Kings Canyon, the loot pool has been given an almighty shake-up – especially when it comes to the weapons that are scattered across the Apex Games.
One of the biggest concerns players have had about the new season is the addition of Skullpiercer rounds to weapons like the 30-30 Repeater and Wingman, with some believing it is completely “broken” already. In the case of iiTzTimmy, he’s got a few issues with it things too, notably with the TTK (Time to Kill).

During his August 11 stream, the Apex Legends phenom was asked for his new thoughts on the season and quickly noted that he has been enjoying it, though the TTK changes cause headaches.
“I feel like anytime I get shot, I’m almost dead, every single time,” the streamer said. “Like, the Time to Kill in this season is so f**king fast now. You’ve got the Skullpiercer Longbow, Skullpiercer 30-30, Skullpiercer Wingman, two shots and I’m f**king 1HP.
“I got this guy ramping up af**king cannon on me, pushing me with a PK, f**king EVA double tap. God damn. F**king bowing me for half a second and I’m 1HP again too, Jesus Christ. I’m just getting f**ked, man.”
While the changes are designed to level the playing field somewhat, if things are still getting out of hand after a few weeks, Respawn may have to step in and take a look at things.
It remains to be seen if that will happen, so we’ll just have to keep an eye on what the devs have planned for changes.

But disaster struck, with a goalkeeping howler from David de Gea allowing the Bees to strike first in what would become a 4-0 first-half riot at the Gtech Community Stadium.
It’s safe to say few saw that coming.

The Telegraph’s Jim White didn’t mince his words as he provided his analysis of United’s “humiliation”, saying that it was the worst performance he’s ever seen by the club.
“Having watched Manchester United for over 50 years, this performance against Brentford is without question the worst I have ever seen them deliver,” White wrote.
“The grim times of Dave Sexton, the misery of the David Moyes era, the negativity of Louis van Gaal, all looked like halcyon days compared to this performance.
“No joy, no coherence, no spirit: this was a team in name only, delivering the kind of performance that Frenkie de Jong would have had on the phone to his agent with instructions to quickly follow up any interest from Chelsea.
“Mistakes happen. But it was the response to that setback that spoke so damagingly of what is going on at Old Trafford. Instead of launching the kind of fight back that once characterized the club, United folded.
“Everywhere they looked hapless, hopeless and haunted.”

The Guardian’s Jonathan Wilson said that while de Gea was still an “excellent shot-stopper”, that his inability to play with the ball at his feet was an issue.
“Can you play out from the back with De Gea? De Gea remains, despite Saturday’s howler, an excellent shot-stopper, which is why last season he was named United’s player of the year for the fourth time,” Wilson wrote.
“But there is a reason he has not played for Spain since October 2020 and why he has apparently fallen behind Brentford’s David Raya in the pecking order.
“He is simply not comfortable on the ball. Last season he completed just 71.3% of his passes. By comparison, Ederson completed 88.1% and Alisson 87.1%.
“While it’s true that’s partly because De Gea was encouraged to play more longer balls, it’s also true that one of the reasons United played more longer balls is De Gea.

“This is a major problem for United: De Gea is one of the few United players who has performed consistently in recent years and yet those struggles with the ball at his feet make it very hard for them to switch to a modern style.
“That, perhaps, is the most disconcerting thing for United. This is supposed to be ten Hag’s honeymoon period, but already he looks in danger of being overwhelmed by just how shambolic the club is … And they’ve got Liverpool next.”
The Athletic’s Adam Crafton said “each week manages to conjure a new sense of stupefying shock” when it came to United, with their fans ruthlessly mocked at half-time.
“At halftime, Brentford, who had not beaten Manchester United since 1938, led their opponents. And this was more than a lead. This was 4-0 and deservedly so,” Crafton wrote.
“There was, in the press box, almost a numbing madness to it all. Brentford’s supporters, too, stared at one another, open-mouthed.
“They taunted their United opponents, telling them they’d be ‘going down with the Fulham’. Fulham, on two points after two games compared to United’s zero, may be offended by the comparison.”
The Red Devils appear to be at a crossroads after failing to sign Arnautovic, as well as other players during the English summer.
Dutch midfielder Frenkie de Jong has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford for what feels like forever, although Chelsea have since emerged as another potential destination.
According to the BBC, United have spent £672 million ($1.14 billion AUD) since winning their last major trophy in 2017, which was the Europa League.
So far during the transfer window, United have signed Tyrell Malacia, Christian Eriksen and Lisandro Martinez.
Club great Rio Ferdinand said that he feels “sorry” for ten Hag after an uneventful transfer window has so far failed to add key players to a struggling squad.
“I don’t feel sorry for the players, I feel sorry for ten Hag,” Ferdinand told the Vibe with Five podcast.

The Red Devils failed to qualify for this year’s Champions League after finishing sixth in the 2021/22 Premier League season – 35 points behind champions Manchester City.
While they appear set to sign Adrien Rabiot from Juventus, French journalist Julien Laurens also slammed United’s transfer strategy.
“They are not helping themselves,” Laurens told BBC Radio 5 Live’s EuroLeagues podcast.
“The non-existence of a transfer strategy, not just now but since Fergie (Sir Alex Ferguson) left, is not just baffling, it’s outrageous.”
The club have reached a new low as a non-league side threw a jab, literally laughing in the wake of United’s horror loss.
Oldham Athletic’s chairman Frank Rothwell was interviewed after his side’s 3-2 win over Dorking Wanderers, where he made the most of his chance to have a dig.

US chemicals giant Albemarle has progressed plans for a temporary 500-bed workers’ village on farmland south of Perth, despite opposition from the local shire and farmers.

The company wants to build a 128-villa workers accommodation site in the small seaside town of Binningup, as it awaits a final investment decision on an expansion at its nearby Kemerton lithium refinery, 150 kilometers south of Perth.
The Shire of Harvey last month refused the miner’s application for the camp, saying it was not consistent with the local area’s farming purposes.
But on Monday, Western Australia’s development assessment panel planning body voted against the shire’s refusal.
Instead, the panel voted not to make a decision for or against the proposal and instead put the plan out for public comment.
Smaller than Pilbara mining camps
Albemarle’s refinery was originally set to produce 100,000 tonnes of lithium hydroxide each year, but the output projection was halved in 2020 following a drop in lithium prices.

An expansion is now back on the cards, as the price index for lithium hydroxide had increased more than 400 per cent over the past year.
The company produced its first lithium hydroxide last month.
Lawyers for Albemarle told the development panel the proposal was much smaller than mining camps in the north-west of the state.
Claire Willey said any impact from the village on the community and surrounds could be managed.
“It’s smaller than those camps in the north of the state, which can have up to 3,000 workers,” she said.
“We say it can be compatible with surrounding agriculture.”

The panel was told the temporary workers village on Binningup’s main road would be in place for 10 to 15 years, and be hidden from the street.
A large fence would be in place to protect from any spray drift from local farms.
Concern of conflict with agriculture
Harvey Shire president Paul Gillett told the panel the area should be primarily used for farming, urging its members to reject the application.
“We are talking about the quality of life … and the pre-eminence of agriculture,” Mr Gillett said.
Planning consultant Paul Kotsoglo represented farmers on properties next to the site had a similar argument.
He told the panel the site was too close to a nearby market garden, which needed to apply spray to crops, only a few hundred meters from the nearest villa.
“It’s not consistent with the planning scheme.”

The panel voted against a motion from Mr Gillett that it refuse the application outright.
Panel member Karella Hope said while the panel could have made a decision, she felt it needed to be put out for comment.
She said she appreciated the strong community interest.
‘The panel does have the discretion to consider it as a residential building,’ Ms Hope said.
“Este [deferral] shouldn’t be built as support. ”
The proposal is set to be put out for comment for 45 days later this week.
A spokeswoman for Albemarle said the company would continue to work with the shire.
“The best outcome for the community is for us to operate a successful business, with purpose-built amenity for all workers in a temporary accommodation village, with flow on benefits to local business and the economy.”
The planned camp in Binningup comes as the town also considers the purchase of a large parcel of land for development by mining magnate Andrew Forrest.
The Forrest family’s property development company said it plans to “reactivate” the 260-hectare coastal site and re-open the town’s old golf course.
It also comes as WorkSafe probes Albemarle for a series of alleged unsafe work practices.

What SolGold does have is a large and promising copper/gold/silver project in Ecuador, called Cascabel, that it is trying to develop at a $US2.7 billion ($3.8 billion) pre-production cost this decade.
If all goes to plan, SolGold reckons it could mine Cascabel for 26 years at 210,000 tonnes of copper equivalent a year (about the same as BHP’s Olympic Dam mine), and generate $US14.4 billion cash flows after tax, based on copper at $US3.60 to pound. (At recent spot prices, it would be $US16.3 billion in after tax cash flows, according to SolGold’s presentation to fund managers dated last month.)
SolGold owns 85 per cent of the Cascabel project.
While SolGold couldn’t raise equity at the drop of a hat last month, it’s not because it doesn’t have deep-pocketed backers. Remove the contrary.
SolGold’s two biggest shareholders are Australia’s BHP and Newcrest Mining, with toehold stakes worth 13.6 per cent and 13.5 per cent of the company, respectively.
With SolGold reported to have only enough cash to see it through to the end of the year (after scrapping its recent $50 million top-up), there’s bound to be a time in the next few months when its two big Australian shareholders will have to decide how much they want Cascabel.
If it’s a bit, then the two shareholders will have to tip into an equity raising and try to maintain the status quo.
But if it is a lot, like some analysts suspect, then we could see a pair of Australian heavyweights in a ding-dong battle.

A young woman is taking legal action against the AFL club she used to work for, claiming she was discriminated against after being hospitalized with a mental illness.
Sophia Salmon-Abbott, 24, suffered anxiety and depression when she was an account manager for Hawthorn, according to documents filed with the human rights division of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal.
In May last year, she spent a month in hospital after suffering a severe mental health episode and was unfit to work, according to a statement of claim.

Ms Salmon-Abbott was removed from a group WhatsApp chat of about 12 to 15 other employees and told she could return to work only in a part-time reception role after lockdown, according to the document.
It claims Hawthorn misled Ms Salmon-Abbott about her prospects of returning to her role as commercial partnerships account executive on a gradual basis.
Evidence cited in the claim includes an email from a Hawthorn executive which was circulated among staff but not Ms Salmon-Abbott.
It is said to have instructed that Ms Salmon-Abbott would be allowed to return to the partnerships accounts team only when she could work five days.
Ms Salmon-Abbott claims she has still not been permitted to return to Hawthorn and is now working for a new employer.
She is seeking an apology and compensation for economic and non-economic loss.
Hawthorn is a high-profile partner of mental health organization Beyond Blue, which was founded by former Victorian premier and Hawthorn president Jeff Kennett.

Ms Salmon-Abbott said she never expected to be treated the way she was by an employer connected to the advocacy organisation.
“I really thought they would understand what I was going through and have effective support mechanisms in place. They did n’t, ”she said in a statement through her lawyer de ella.
“It kept me from recovering, and made me feel helpless. It also made me feel like a burden.”
Hawthorn Football Club said it “categorically rejects the allegations” and that it will defend itself in any proceedings.
“We regard the physical and mental health and safety of all our employees as our number one priority,” a statement said.
“This has been paramount in our dealings with Ms Salmon-Abbott, with the club repeatedly offering support and assistance to accommodate her circumstances.
“As the matter will be filed with VCAT, the club will not make any further comments.”
An Aboriginal cultural center will be built on a site between the Derbarl Yerrigan, also known as the Swan River, and the Perth Concert Hall to showcase Western Australia’s indigenous culture.

“It gives us an opportunity to tell our stories, to tell our songlines and showcase what our culture looks like through art, dance and through print and media,” Mr Winmar said.
The site was culturally significant as the location of watering holes and tributaries of the river.

“There were walking trails along there. We had a really strong connection with the water and the land,” Mr Winmar said.
It was also close to where Whadjuk Noongar leader Yellagonga, who died in 1843, was buried.
The Commonwealth government has previously provided $50 million seed funding for the project, and the WA government $54 million, as part of an election commitment.

Premier Mark McGowan said the cultural center was due to be finished by 2028 and will likely include major private sector and philanthropic contributions to create a “world-standard facility”.
“We want tourists from Australia and around the world to come and visit and understand and enjoy that experience,” Mr McGowan said.
“It’s a great opportunity for understanding and for creating jobs and also for that great sense of identity that will come with it.
“So we’re very excited about this location.”

Federal minister and WA MP Patrick Gorman thought it could be WA’s answer to the Opera House in Sydney.
“This is about giving Western Australia something that expresses the full breadth of Aboriginal culture,” Mr Gorman said.
City of Perth Lord Mayor Basil Zempilas said he was excited the cultural center would be located in the city.
“It’s hard to believe that in 2022 our nation does not have an Aboriginal cultural center and museum of this size and shape and standing, that we are anticipating will now be built,” Mr Zempilas said.
“So I’m absolutely thrilled that the City of Perth is likely to be home to this facility. It’s very important for our country, for our state and in particular for our city.”
“I will not stand by and allow the same to happen to us between Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast.”
He said traffic congestion was a “Brisbane CBD problem” and needs a new way of thinking.

“The mapping that was released with this report shows us all exactly what Brisbane’s challenge is: it’s their CBD,” Cr Flannery said.
“Ace [transport expert] Professor Matthew Burke said after this plan was released: ‘There are no regional job centers outside of Brisbane’s CBD, and there aren’t any plans for it’.”
Moreton’s answer is to create regional job centers outside the Brisbane CBD, Flannery said.
It’s a similar approach tried by Ipswich and Gold Coast – and to a lesser extent – Logan councils.
Moreton is calling it the “polycentric city” approach.
The state government’s recent Caboolture West interim development plan proposes specific job-generating districts.
“A polycentric city is made up of a web of smaller centres, with high connectivity between commercial and residential precincts, Flannery said.
“It means you can work closer to home, which means less time spent in traffic.”

His argument is by planning early, congestion can be reduced.
“That includes consideration for public transport in planning, specifically public transport mode-share,” he said.
“That includes building an entirely new Bruce Highway to the west, so people in Caboolture and Morayfield and Petrie aren’t all forced into the existing congestion.”
Unfortunately, as RMIT urban policy professor Jago Dodson identified recently, the proposed Caboolture West does not have a rail link.
Meanwhile, a Chermside business group, who used 2017 census data to propose three blocks of Gympie Road around Westfield Chermside become a tunnel to address congestion problems welcomed proposals for both road and rail corridors through Brisbane’s north-west corridor.

On Saturday, a new underground rail station at Chermside was revealed as part of a proposed underground eastern corridor link to Carseldine.
Suburban Futures director Steve de Nys said there needs to be greater emphasis on suburbs and regional centers as jobs-growth centers.
“We believe that rather than being considered as the ‘dormitory’ for the city, the suburbs should be repositioned as the ‘engine room’ and receive appropriate attention through policy and investment,” de Nys said.
“The pandemic has shown how important the suburbs are to the economic and wellbeing of a city.”
“This proposal for north Brisbane is not just a transport solution but the opportunity to facilitate the revitalization and renewal of suburbs that have long been ignored.”
Their report identified that in Nundah a decade ago $55 million in traffic design led to about $800 million in new private investment to transform the Nundah community.
