Multi Versus players looking to get a better look at what which characters pro fighting game players prefer and how they use them can get that this weekend during the Evo 2022 Multi Versus tournament, but two characters won’t be featured in the fights. Both the Iron Giant and LeBron James – the latter being the first character released after the start of the open beta – are not playable during Evo 2022. A map has similarly been struck from the rotation for the duration of the tournament.
The two fighters weren’t restricted from the tournament because they were overpowered or unfair or anything like that, though depending on which Multi Versus players you ask, some might hold those opinions about the pair. Instead, they were banned from the tournament because these two characters are the only ones labeled as “experimental” when you’re viewing them in the roster. The same goes for the Cromulons stage that comes from Rick and Mortyand was added not long ago.
In the official rules for this Multi Versus tournament, the guidelines specified from the start that both of these characters (and any other new ones should Warner Bros. release a surprise drop ahead of schedule) were restricted from the event.
“Iron Giant, LeBron James, or any other characters released after the start of Open Beta will not be allowed in the Evo 2022 MultiVersus Open Beta Tournament,” the rules said. “This is subject to change at the sole discretion of Warner Bros. and Player First Games.”
Aside from those restrictions, the tournament seems to be operating off of pretty standard rules and is being played in a 2v2 format. It started just yesterday and is underway once more again now on Saturday, so it’ll be interesting to see once things have wrapped up which characters proved to be the most possible throughout the competition. A quick look at the MultiVersus Twitter account for the game’s competitive scene shows that there’s at least a range of characters being played instead of just a few being spammed over and over again, though some like Batman and Bugs Bunny are certainly seen frequently enough.
It looks like Rebel Wilson was in need of a bit of retail therapy.
On Friday, the Australian actor and comedian headed out to do some shopping with his girlfriend Ramona Agruma in West Hollywood.
At one point, the Pitch Perfect star flashed her infectious smile toward an admiring photographer after making a pitstop at the luxury avant-garde boutique, Maxfield, with her new lady love following close behind.
Retail therapy: Rebel Wilson headed out to do some shopping with her new girlfriend Ramona Agruma in West Hollywood on Friday
Wilson, 42, showed off her slimmed down figure dressed in turquoise shorts and a matching hoodie, which she shed several times as the temperatures climbed in the mid-80s Fahrenheit.
She also donned a white T-shirt and matching slip-on shoes for her afternoon out with her partner.
Her blonde tresses were styled long and flowing several inches past her shoulders with a part in the middle.
During their afternoon together, Wilson periodically wore a white baseball cap over her blonde tresses that were pulled into a ponytail.
Mission accomplished: Dressed in turquoise shorts and a matching hoodie, the Australian actress left the luxury avant-garde boutique, Maxfield, with a bag full of items
Sunny times: At times, the Pitch perfect star sipped on a baseball cap as the sun glared down on another hot day in Southern California
After browsing through the boutique, the Australian actress eventually reappeared on the street carrying a Maxfield bag filled with several items.
In early June, Wilson announced she was in a serious relationship with Agruma, 42, who’s a successful fashion and jewelry designer, according to Elle.
‘I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess #loveislove,’ she gushed at the caption of an adorable selfie snap of the couple.

Cute: The couple have since taken to their respective social media pages and shared images of their time together, which included traveling to Europe with several of their friends
The pair have since taken to their respective social media pages and shared images of their time together, which included traveling to Europe with several of their friends.
In one post by Wilson, the actress can be seen holding hands with Agruma during their visit to Italy in mid-June.
Agruma has been equally liberal in her postings of their travels together over the last couple months, that was solidified by a photo of the couple with their mates as they were about to board a private plane.
And, of course, there were plenty of images that captured their more quieter moments together, including when they frolicked in the ocean water in Malibu on July 27 that she captioned: ‘Summer vibes @rebelwilson,’ along with wave and pink heart emojis.

Just yesterday, Wilson confirmed she had signed-on to star in the tennis comedy film Double Fault when she posted the announcement via Variety.
The screenplay is being written by Jim and Brian Kehoe, the brothers who wrote the 2019 high school comedy Blockers.
‘I’m thinking it’ll be as big as TOP GUN so pumped to be working with Paramount again and this winning team! My love for tennis will fully be on display in this film.’ she wrote in the caption of her Instagram post by her.
Most recently Wilson was shooting the independent film The Almond And The Seahorse, in what will be her first non-comedy film role.
It also stars Trine Dyrholm, Meera Syal, Charlotte Gainsbourg and Celyn Jones, who co-wrote the screenplay with Kaite O’Reilly, and is serving as co-director with Tom Stern.

South Australian lawyers say “hurried” anti-corruption laws allow public officials convicted of certain crimes to charge taxpayers for their legal fees, and parliament’s handling of the laws “fails the pub test”.
Key points:
The Law Society of SA says it appears convicted public officials can charge taxpayers for things like appeals
The Law Society has written to the Attorney-General asking for clarity around the provision
The government is seeking further advice on the provision in the act
Last week, an ABC exclusive report outlined the implications of a little-understood change to the state’s Independent Commissioner Against Corruption (ICAC) Act.
The legislation was passed unanimously by South Australia’s parliament following less than 24 hours of debate last year.
It allows MPs and public servants to claim their legal costs back for offenses including deception, theft and dishonestly dealing with documents, because those crimes no longer fall within the ICAC Act’s definition of corruption.
Barrister and Center for Public Integrity director Geoffrey Watson last week said the public should be “outraged” by the provision, and he had “never heard of such a generous repayment scheme for government officials at the public’s expense”.
“In simple terms, a politician could be caught out in an act of corruption, defend it, be found guilty and be the subject of scathing observations by a magistrate, and then recover his or her costs for having unsuccessfully defended the matter,” Mr Watson said.

In a written submission to Attorney-General Kyam Maher, the Law Society of SA said its Civil Litigation Council had examined the provisions to “provide some clarity”.
It found the reimbursement provisions applied at certain points in legal proceedings.
“A public officer who is the subject of ICAC investigation can only apply for legal costs that relate to the investigation itself, and NOT the costs incurred once charged, such as the costs of defending criminal proceedings,” president Justin Stewart-Rattray said.
“The Act does indicate that a person can also be reimbursed for any reviews or appeals arising out of an ICAC investigation.
“The Attorney-General has no discretion to deny reimbursement once the conditions are satisfied … [and] effectively, reimbursement is to be provided unless the person is convicted of an indictable offense that constitutes ‘corruption in public administration’.”

The Law Society said it had not formed a position regarding whether such reimbursement was appropriate or not.
It said strict secrecy provisions, “trifling or accidental” offending, and the financial burden placed on individuals “not wealthy enough to fund a private lawyer for prolonged periods” could be viewed as justifications for the provision.
“The Society notes that the question of whether such a policy should be adopted would be a matter for further consultation,” it wrote.
Parliament’s handling of laws ‘fails the pub test’
The Law Society again called for a full review of the legislation, following “extremely limited and inadequate consultation”.
“The Society is concerned by suggestions in recent media coverage that parliamentarians who voted for the ICAC reforms were not aware of or did not fully appreciate the effect of the provisions,” Mr Stewart-Rattray said.
“The Society believes a wider review of the ICAC Act would be appropriate, given other potential knock-on effects of the ICAC reforms that the Law Society has previously identified.
“The public should expect parliamentarians themselves to robustly discuss the merits of proposed legislation.
“When there is an actual or perceived attempt to hurry legislation through with minimal scrutiny, it tends to fail the ‘pub test’.
“But more significantly, it can lead to bad law.”

Last week, both Premier Peter Malinauskas and Attorney-General Kyam Maher said they would seek further advice regarding the reimbursement provisions.
In a statement, a state government spokesman said: “The Law Society’s views on this matter will be provided to and taken into account by those advising the Attorney-General on this issue.”
Former Liberal MPs Troy Bell and Fraser Ellis are currently before the courts, charged over their use of the Country Members Accommodation Allowance (CMAA).
The scheme allowed regional MPs to be reimbursed for nights spent in Adelaide on official business.
Both are charged with deception offenses for allegedly claiming tens of thousands of dollars they were not entitled to.
Both MPs strenuously deny any wrongdoing.
Irrespective of the outcome in the court, they are eligible to claim legal costs.

Some of the courses that will be in the game in the future may have been found in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe placeholder music files, know the DLC 3 datamine reddit leak tracks
It looks like many “prefetch” files were added to the game, which are music tracks from old Mario Kart games. These were found by YouTube user record reader and sent to YouTube by BL.
These ‘prefetch’ files include the opening few seconds of a music piece. Their purpose is to provide a simple way to start music while the entire song downloads in the background.
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Datamine Reddit Leak Reveals DLC Wave 3 Tracks List
Rumor: Tracks for future Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC discovered in datamine from NintendoSwitch
Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC datamine from newmariokart
While the full audio tracks that match with the prefetch files must appear to be there in the latest announcement, the prefetch files have offered enough of each song to help Mario Kart fans work out which circuits they link to.
What Courses Were Included In Mario Kart 8 Wave 2?
The Booster Course Pass for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe got eight new tracks on Thursday, August 4. They were made up of:
Tour of New York Minutes
Mario Circuit 3 (SNES).
kalimari
Desert (N64)
Waluigi’s Pinball (DS)
Tour of Sydney Sprint
Snowland (GBA)
Mushroom Gorge (Wii)
Sky-High Sundae (New original course)
Although the initial wave was strong, the second one seems to be even stronger.
What Are The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC Future Track?
Based on the prefetch files, it looks like Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will get the following tracks as DLC in the future:
London Loop (Mario Kart Tour)
Peach Gardens (DS)
Boo Lake/Broken Pier (GBA)
3DS Rock Rock Mountain
Byways in Berlin (Mario Kart Tour)
Waluigi Stadium/Wario Colosseum (Game Cube)
merrymountain
Rainbow Road (3DS).
Amsterdam Drift (Mario Kart Tour)
Singapore Speedway (Mario Kart Tour).
Laps in Los Angeles (Mario Kart Tour)
Sunset Wilds (GBA)
Bangkok Rush (Mario Kart Tour)
(Mario Kart Tour) Vancouver Velocity
Maple Treeway (Wii)
The release date is not confirmed yet.
But a previous data mine found the retro prefixes for prospective circuits (SNES, GBA, 3DS, etc.), and predicated on these, the most probable result is that the first eight tracks listed in the previous section will be in Wave 3, since the prefixes match.
Yesterday, the second batch of tracks came out. They include GBA Snow Land, Wii Mushroom Gorge, DS Waluigi Pinball, and more.
What Is The Cost Of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Pass?
The Mario Kart 8 Deluxe Booster Course Pass costs $24.99 or £24.99 and gives you access to 48 DLC tracks over six waves.
Some of the courses are new versions of tracks from older games in the series, like Super Mario Kart, Mario Kart 64, Mario Kart Double Dash, Mario Kart Wii, and even handheld games like the Mario Kart Tour mobile game.
When a player signs up for the Expansion Pack for Nintendo Switch Online, they also get access to the DLC.

Kim Kardashian and Pete Davidson’s age difference caused them to split earlier this week, sources exclusively tell Page Six.
“Pete is 28 and Kim is 41 — they are just in very different places at the moment,” the insider says.
“Pete is totally spontaneous and impulsive and wants her to fly to New York, or wherever he is on a moment’s notice,” the source adds. “But Kim has four kids and it isn’t that easy. She needs to focus on the kids.”
The source also tells us that Kardashian — who runs multiple businesses and stars on a reality show — was “totally exhausted by this relationship and other things going on in her life.”
The “Kardashians” star has recently had a tumultuous relationship with ex Kanye West, which caused strife while she was dating the Saturday Night Live alum.
The insider explained: “When Kim is with someone else, Kanye can cause problems with the kids. He tries to divide and conquer. I can’t help it.
“Kim is a really dedicated mother, and her kids will always come first. Ella she wants and needs harmony at her home and in her life.”
Kardashian and Davidson — who have been spending time apart lately as he has been in Australia filming a new movie — met when she hosted Saturday Night Live in October 2021, and started officially dating the following month.
“When we kissed, I was just like ‘Mmm!’ It was a stage kiss, but it was still a little zing,” the SKIMS founder later said of kissing the comedian in a sketch on the late-night show.
However, Kardashian — who filed for divorce from West, 45, in February 2021 — wasn’t sure if the spark was anything special.
“I was like, ‘Wow, I really haven’t kissed anyone else in 10 years, so maybe I’m just like being stupid and it’s nothing, it’s just a stage kiss’,” she added.
Kardashian and West tied the knot in May 2014 and share four children: North, 9, Saint, 6, Chicago, 4, and Psalm, 3.
Davidson — who was previously engaged to Ariana Grande — recently opened up about his “dream” to become a dad one day.
“(I’m) definitely a family guy. My favorite thing ever, which I’ve yet to achieve, is I want to have a kid,” he said last month.

Some Australians will be able to access free abortions while others in rural communities are battling a “postcode lottery” to access the critical health service.
Affordability greatly improves access to the service, but there are still significant barriers for those living in rural and remote parts of the country.
Some women are having to travel hundreds of kilometers to reach clinics, with just 10 per cent of Australian GPs registered to provide medical abortions.

Abortion rights were thrust into the forefront of conversation when the United States’ Supreme Court overturned the country’s landmark 1973 Roe v Wade decision this year.
Australians have the legal right to have an abortion but there are many different factors that can contribute to how accessible the medical procedure is.
With different rules on abortion in each state and territory, reproductive health advocacy groups say there is still some confusion about things such as how much an abortion costs, when and where you can get access to abortion services, and what types of abortion services are available in Australia.
Children by Choice chief executive Daile Kelleher said while there was general access to services across the nation, for many regional women it was a matter of postcode lottery.
“We know though with whatever legislation there is in Australia, that we have seen there has been general access to termination of pregnancy over the past couple of years,” she said.
“However, legislation doesn’t equal access.”
Explosion of protests erupt across US after abortion rights ruling
Abortion access is particularly difficult in regional and rural areas, Kelleher said.
“The most difficult thing, is that the information isn’t available for a lot of places and it’s not something you look up until you actually need it,” she said.
Consider a woman living in a remote Queensland town as an example.
That woman may have to travel “hundreds of kilometers” to access a facility which is outside their community and away from their support network.
This can be further complicated by factors like getting time off work or organizing childcare.
And in some cases navigating a violent or controlling relationship, she said.
“Any barriers to accessing healthcare outside their communities are felt more by those people who are already experiencing vulnerabilities and disadvantages,” Kelleher said.
Children by Choice chief executive Daile Kelleher (Michelle Grace Hunder)
Stigma continues to create “roadblocks and barriers” for people accessing abortions, particularly in regional and remote areas, Kelleher said.
“Some GPs you walk into and ask about abortion, or for information on access, you can get looks,” she said.
“We hear that people have been told abortion wasn’t legal and they can’t access it.
“That has huge impacts for people’s ability and confidence in asking another GP.”

Clinics closing in parts of Australia
Late last year, family planning organization Marie Stopes announced the closure of clinics in Southport, Townsville and Rockhampton in Queensland, and Newcastle in New South Wales.
In a statement, the organization cited financial difficulties were behind the difficult decision.
“This is not a decision we have made lightly. We have exhausted all possible options and extended our tenure for as long as we could.
“Costs continue to rise and as such our regional clinics have been functioning below the capacity required to sustain their fixed financial outgoings for some time.”
The closure of the regional abortion clinics will now make it harder for women to access the vital service, so what needs to be done?

How do we improve access to abortions?
Chair of general practice at Monash University Professor Danielle Mazza said there were a number of issues that needed to be fixed to improve accessibility as there’s a shortage of providers in the country.
She said the system needed to be easy to navigate for women, Mazza said.
“At the moment, if you are a 16-year-old girl living in a rural town in Australia, how are you going to know where to go to get an abortion if you need one?”
“You might approach a rural GP but in these areas it might be really hard to get an appointment.
Professor Danielle Mazza (Supplied)
“There can be a two week wait for some practices.
“The GP you might encounter may be an objector or may not be knowledgeable about abortion and may not know where to direct you or help you.”
More support and training was needed for all GPs and pharmacists across Australia, Mazza said.
“GPs are the main providers of this service for medical abortions and (visiting a GP) is a convenient approach for many women,” she said.
Currently not all pharmacies stock the medication needed for a medical abortion, Mazza said.
“More support is needed to pharmacists and GPs to provide the service and we run an online community practice to support healthcare professionals to provide medical abortions and we are looking to government to continue that funding.”
Mazza said public hospitals and health services should embed reproductive healthcare into their basic services.
“Each region needs to take accountability for the delivery of this essential healthcare practice,” she said.
US Senate Democrats on Saturday were set to push ahead on a bill that would address key elements of President Joe Biden’s agenda, tackling climate change, lowering the cost of energy and senior citizens’ drugs and forcing the wealthy to pay more taxes.
A Senate rulemaker determined that the lion’s share of the $430bn bill could be passed with only a simple majority, bypassing a filibuster rule requiring 60 votes in the 100-seat chamber to advance most legislation and enabling Democrats to pass it over Republican objections, majority leader Chuck Schumer said in a statement.
Democrats hope that the legislation will give a boost to their candidates in the 8 November midterm elections in which Biden’s party is in an uphill battle to retain its narrow control of the Senate and House of Representatives.
“Democrats have received extremely good news,” Schumer said in the statement. “Medicare will finally be allowed to negotiate drug prices…This is a major victory for the American people.”
Medicare is the government health insurance program for people age 65 and older.
There are three main parts to the bill: a 15% minimum tax on corporations, tougher IRS enforcement and a new excise tax on stock buybacks. The legislation has $430 billion in new spending along with raising more than $740 billion in new revenues.
Besides billions of dollars to encourage the production and purchase of more electric vehicles and foster clean energy, the bill would set $4 billion in new federal drought relief funds. The latter is a move that could help the re-election campaigns of Democratic Senators Catherine Cortez Masto in Nevada and Mark Kelly in Arizona.
Republicans have promised to do everything they can to stall or block the bill, with Senator Lindsey Graham on Friday calling the legislation “this jihad they’re on to tax and spend.”
Democrats aim to push the bill through the Senate using an arcane and complicated “reconciliation” procedure allowing passage without any Republican support in the chamber divided 50-50 between the parties, with the Democrats in control because Kamala Harris, the vice-president, can cast a tie-breaking vote.
One provision cut from the bill would have forced drug companies to refund money to both government and private health plans if drug prices rise more quickly than inflation. The Senate arbitrator, known as the parliamentarian, ruled that measure could not apply to private industry.
Saturday will kick off an arduous process that could extend into early next week, with senators offering amendment after amendment in a time-consuming “vote-a-rama.”
Senators on the left such as Bernie Sanders are likely to try to expand the scope of the bill to include new programs such as federal subsidies for childcare or home healthcare for the elderly. Republicans have signaled that they will offer plenty of amendments touching on another issue: immigrants coming across the US border with Mexico.
One Australian man crashed his Ferrari 458 Italia Coupe while on a Sunday drive. Speeding down the Princes Highway in St. Peters, the Ferrari supercar exceeded the 24 mph speed limit by an incredible amount. Thankfully, this was not a fatal Ferrari crash, but it still caused a lot of damage to the supercar.
The red Ferrari 458 Italia Coupe crashed into a power pole
This Ferrari 458 Italia Coupe crashed into a light pole | YouTube via 7NEWS Australia
In the video from 7News Australia, you can see the red Ferrari slam into a light pole at a high rate of speed. The 458 bounced off the light pole and spun around before coming to a stop. The passenger can be heard complaining about his legs hurting, and the driver suffered a head injury.
The entire front wheel, tire, and suspension appear to be missing from the driver’s side. A side airbag inflated and deflated after the impact and now is just blowing in the breeze. Fire rescue and paramedics had to free the pair from the totaled Ferrari sports car.
A paramedic on the scene said that every airbag in the Ferrari 458 went off during the impact. With a top speed of more than 200 mph and 562 hp, it’s no wonder the airbags went off. Crashing a supercar or sports car is never a positive experience, especially if it is avoidable.
The Ferrari 458 Italia’s price and specs make this crash even more painful
RELATED: Don’t Buy an $85K Lamborghini Gallardo Supercar In ‘Terrific Condition’ Sight Unseen
The regular Ferrari 458 Italia will run buyers between $277,400 and $350,680. According to Drive Australia, the Federal Chamber of Automotive Industries (FCAI) sold 257 Ferarri sports cars in 2019. In 2018, Ferrari only sold 241 units in the whole year. While the Ferrari 458 Italia isn’t a cheap car to start with, it was likely one of very few in Australia.
For comparison’s sake, Lamborghini reported selling 147 vehicles in 2019. That was up 9.7% over 2018 when it moved 134 units. Porsche has also been ramping up sales in the area, trying to compete with Ferrari and Lamborghini. With 4,161 Porsche sales, it’s clear Australia has a supercar problem on its hands. Before the pandemic, luxury automotive sales were having a record year.
Don’t speed in your supercar, even if it might be tempting
The 458 Italia goes by a few names, such as 458 Speciale and 458 Spyder. Ferrari produced this vehicle from 2009 until 2015 in Maranello, Italy. The supercar brand made around 15,000 of the Italy, specifically. Eventually, it was replaced by the Ferrari 488.
Thankfully, this Ferrari 458 Italia Coupe crash was limited to a single vehicle and a light pole or two. There were no further updates from 7News, so hopefully, the passenger and the driver made it out without further injury. If you take your special Ferrari 458 Italia out for a drive, abide by speed limits.
A British OnlyFans star says she has the most heavily tattooed vagina in the world, with an artist needing five separate sessions to needle her labia.
Over the years, Becky Holt, 34, has spent more than $42,000 on a tattoo “bodysuit” with artworks adorning her entire frame, from her face to her feet, The NY Post reports.
The blonde made sure not to neglect her pubic region, and recently sought to have the sensitive area inked — despite an intense amount of agony it caused.
“I was in an incredible amount of pain,” Holt told Ark Media of the fifth and final ink session that she underwent on July 5.
“It’s quite embarrassing having a tattoo artist between your legs but it needed to be finished as I want my body suit to be fully complete,” the mom-of-one added.
Almost a month on, Holt’s vagina is still “swollen” and she isn’t able to have sex with her partner, Ben.
“We won’t be able to be intimate until it’s finished healing which will be difficult for both of us as we have a very active sex life,” Holt divulged. “Foreplay for him only currently!”
Despite the sex drought, Holt’s beau has managed to find some humor in the situation.
“When I showed him how swollen it was he joked and showed me a picture of a ‘Monsters In.’ character saying my fanny looked like them,” the tattoo lover revealed.
Holt didn’t divulge what design she chose to have permanently plastered onto her labia, but shared photos of her trip to the tattoo parlor.
The blonde was seen wincing in pain as she sat on a chair with her legs spread while the artist needled away.
Holt believes she’s one of the only women in the world to have her vaginal folds inked, and says admirers have praised her for enduring the painful process.
“People can’t believe how brave I am for having my labia tattooed,” she bragged. “I’m not sure how many people in the world have this tattoo but I imagine I’m one of very few.”
