Olivia Wilde slams Jason Sudeikis’ ‘outrageous’ public move

Olivia Wilde believes ex-partner Jason Sudeikis was trying to aggressively embarrass and “threaten” her when she was publicly served legal papers during a panel in April.

Wilde claims that Sudeikis used “outrageous legal tactics,” according to new court documents obtained by the DailyMail.

“Jason’s actions were clearly intended to threaten me and catch me off guard,” Wilde, 38, alleged in the filing, Page Six reports. “He could have served me discreetly, but instead he chose to serve me in the most aggressive manner possible.”

Wilde further claimed that Sudeikis, 46, was intentionally trying to air their personal matters to the public in a way that isn’t fair to their two children: Otis, 8, and Daisy, 5.

“The fact that Jason would embarrass me professionally and put our personal conflict on public display in this manner is extremely contrary to our children’s best interests,” Wilde argued. “Since Jason has made it clear that we will not be able to work this out for our children’s sake outside of the court system, I filed a petition for custody in Los Angeles.”

the ted lasso star notably served Wilde legal documents concerning child custody while she was on stage in front of nearly 4000 people at CinemaCon.

Page Six reported at the time that Wilde was mortified and confused.

“Olivia was confused when she was handed the envelope, and she was even more confused when she opened it,” the source told us, adding, “It seemed unthinkable to her, and it took a moment to set in, but as mortifying as it was, she did not want to give a reaction.”

However, a source close to Sudeikis had insisted to Page Six exclusively that he “had no prior knowledge of the time or place that the envelope would have been delivered … and he would never condone [Wilde] being served in such an inappropriate manner.”

Sudeikis and Wilde had been co-parenting their kids since calling off their engagement and breaking up in 2020, but the actor decided to launch the custody battle when the pair couldn’t agree on a permanent city to raise their children.

In court documents, Wilde alleges that they agreed to send their children to school in Los Angeles for the upcoming year as Sudeikis was set to film the final season of ted lasso inLondon.

“Recently, however, Jason decided that he wanted to go to New York for the next year while he is not working, and wanted the children to be with him there during this time off,” the actress claimed. “When I did not agree, since the children have not lived in New York for several years, Jason filed these papers.”

Sudeikis fired back in a declaration to the court, saying that their Brooklyn home has always been the family’s permanent residence.

“For better or worse, I am a New Yorker,” Sudeikis said in the filing, adding that it was best for their kids to grow up in Brooklyn.

He added that he was reluctant to pursue legal action against Wilde but that he was worried she would take their kids away from him after she allegedly told him she would only let him see their children on weekends and holidays if he didn’t permanently live in LA and that she also allegedly had plans to relocate to London, where her boyfriend, Harry Styles, lives.

Sudeikis further asserted that the legal documents were supposed to be served to Wilde at an airport or at her hotel. But after several failed attempts, she was located at the event thanks to a tweet where the process server handed her the confidential envelope.

“I understand that the process server had only done her job; however, I deeply regret what happened. Olivia’s talk was an important event for Olivia, both professionally and personally, and I am very, very sorry that the incident marred her special moment, ”Sudeikis said.

Wilde has been dating Styles since January 2021. Meanwhile, Sudeikis has been romantically linked to model Keeley Hazell.

Crocodile Dundee star Paul Hogan, 82, is spotted in his homeless-ridden Venice neighborhood

Crocodile Dundee star Paul Hogan has been spotted out and about for the first time in over a year as he ran errands in his crime and homeless-ridden Los Angeles neighborhood.

The reclusive Australian-born actor wearing jeans and a denim shirt looked gaunt as he pumped gas and washed his windows last month in his Venice neighborhood that has been overrun by vagrants.

The last time Hogan, 82, was photographed in public was last May when he was thought to be pinning up an angry note to vagrants camped outside his $3.5million Venice mansion.

Hogan denied writing the sign that read, ‘THIS IS MY HOUSE NOT YOURS,’ despite being pictured holding a red marker near the note. He claimed he was carrying the red marker near the sign because he was leaving instructions for an electrician.

He moved to Los Angeles in 2005 with his then-love interest and former co-star Linda Kozlowski, who he met on the set of Crocodile Dundee.

He left his first wife Noelene to pursue a love affair with much-younger Linda, now 64, and they wed in 1990.

In 2014 she filed for divorce but they are said to still be on good terms and live in the same neighborhood while co-parenting their son Chance, 24.

In an interview with Sunrise last year, Hogan said he was ‘desperate’ to return to Australia and leave his life in America behind.

‘I am desperately homesick,’ he said.

His home is in the eleven-elite beachside suburb of Venice, where a vast increase in homelessness has been seen hundreds of tents line the beach’s famous boardwalk and a sharp increase in crime.

‘I’m living in LA County, which is 10 million people and half of them have got Covid. So am I homeick? You bet your life,’ Hogan complained.

When asked how he was coping with Los Angeles’ crime wave, Hogan simply said he ‘doesn’t go anywhere.’

‘[I’m] bored in lockdown, and the minute I can get on the plane without being locked in a hotel for two weeks, I’m back,’ he said in 2021.

Despite yearning to go back to Australia, Hogan said he would remain living in Venice to be a part of his son’s life.

‘Where Paul lives is hell on earth,’ Hogan’s neighbor Tyler Proctor, a local politician, said last year. ‘His house from him is like a fortress and it needs to be. I can see why [he] wants to move out.’

DailyMail.com revealed last month that Hunter Biden moved out of a $25,000-per-month rented canal-front home in Venice.

The First Son’s trendy digs came with a 24-hour Secret Service protection, and mysteriously coincided with the disappearance of any homeless encampments from the street, neighbors said.

But since Hunter up and moved to Malibu, a ‘tent city’ of homeless people camping out on the sidewalk has sprung up again, prompting outrage among residents.

Tents, umbrellas, trash bags, camping chairs, blankets and shopping carts were seen piled up, filling the width of the sidewalk and stretching down the Venice street where Hunter’s former home sits.

His former neighbors are now incensed that their street has turned into a ‘tent city’ since he left – with no more Secret Service agents to move homeless people along.

Bullet Train: Brad Pitt keeps list of actors he’s worked with

Actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson says his co-star Brad Pitt has a “good” list and “s***” list of actors he will and won’t work with.

The pair star together in Bullet Train, helmed by John Wick and Deadpool 2 director David Leitch.

Promoting his latest onscreen venture at Locarno Film Festival in Switzerland, the actor dished on what working with Pitt was like, Page Six reported.

Referring to Pitt as a “humble and gracious human being”, the actor told Variety: “He is in a new chapter of his life, I think.”

Taylor-Johnson, who has previously starred in action movies like Kick-Ass and Avengers: Age of Ultron continued: “He just wants to bring light and joy into the world and be around people who are there to have a good time.

“You work with many actors and after a while, you start making notes: ‘I am definitely not working with this person ever again.’ Brad has this list too: the ‘good’ list and the ‘s***’ list.”

A fight scene from the film – which was released in the US on Friday – between the two stars left Taylor-Johnson hospitalized after he sustained major injuries on set.

After implementing a “crazy mad Keto diet” in an effort to get “scrawny and lean” for the film, the actor fainted due to “low blood sugar levels” shortly after sustaining a hand injury.

“We were in a fight sequence and I got drop-kicked across the room. And the one sharp bit of the corner where there wasn’t any padding took a chunk out of my hand. I literally went wham, passed out,” he told Variety of the incident.

“Then I came back and was like ‘Should we go again?’ and they were like ‘No, no, no. You gotta go get stitches at the hospital.’ So then I spent the night in the hospital,” he added.

“When you sign up for a David Leitch movie you know you gotta get a couple battle scars, some war wounds,” he added.

Urbanista Launches World’s First Solar-Powered Earbuds Using Powerfoyle Technology

Urbanista may be known as a Swedish lifestyle audio brand, but it’s also a technological trailblazer and very serious about audio quality. The company has just announced the launch of the new Urbanista Phoenix, the world’s first true wireless earbuds that offer noise canceling and solar-powered charging.

Last year, the company joined forces with Exeger to launch the Urbanista Los Angeles headphones. These were the world’s first to use Exeger’s Powerfoyle technology, a thin plastic film that can turn light to generate unlimited playtime by ensuring the batteries are always charged and ready to go.

The Urbanista Phoenix are the first true wireless earbuds to use Powerfoyle solar cell material on their charging case. The Phoenix has batteries that are continuously being charged in their charging case and exposed to almost any outdoor or indoor light sources.

The new earbuds feature active hybrid noise-canceling technology. In addition, they include noise-canceling microphones that can filter out unwanted background sounds, offering clearer calls without fewer distractions, especially in crowded and noisy spaces.

Tuomas Lonka is Urbanista’s Brand and Marketing Director. “It’s a privilege to continue on this path of innovation with Exeger and use the latest in solar cell technology. Urbanista’s Los Angeles self-charging headphones were well received and we knew we wanted to apply this technology to a true wireless design.”

Giovanni Fili is the founder and CEO of Exeger: “We are incredibly excited to launch the world’s first Powerfoyle-powered true wireless earphones together with Urbanista. The Los Angeles headphones set a new standard.”

the Urbanista Phoenix’s true wireless earbuds connect via Bluetooth and include support for multipoint connectivity, which means the Phoenix can be connected wirelessly to two devices simultaneously. The lightweight earbuds also feature intuitive touch controls and intelligent voice assistance so the user can skip tracks, increase volume and issue other commands without using hands.

The sound of the Urbanista Phoenix can be customized using EQ controls in the companion Urbanista smartphone app. The iOS and Android apps also provide information on how to get the most out of the earbuds’ playtime, including visual indications of the solar charge levels and usage. There’s even an option to customize the touch controls and voice assistant.

Axel Grell is Urbanista’s audio engineer and a former chief designer with Sennheiser. “Phoenix advances technology to create a cutting-edge, innovative audio experience and we have worked hard to develop a soundstage to match. As a result, these earbuds deliver a crystal clear and transparent sound with a punchy bass that doesn’t overpower the mids and highs. The Phoenix also delivers sound that will have you listening comfortably for hours on end.”

Like all Urbanista products, the Phoenix take their name from a city. The earbuds have been inspired by the desert scenery of one of the sunniest cities on the planet. The earbuds come in Midnight Black (black) or Desert Rose (pink). Custom-fit silicone tips create an excellent passive acoustic seal while ensuring the earbuds fit securely and comfortably in the ear. And although water may be short in most deserts, the Phoenix have a water-resistant rating of IPX4, enabling them to be used in humid and rainy conditions.

Pricing & Availability: The Urbanista Phoenix true-wireless ANC earbuds are available later this year and will cost $149 / £129 / €149.

The 27-year-old Australian musician, who is non-binary and uses they/them pronouns, had asked her Instagram followers to give them recommendations for a Los Angeles based tattoo artists.

Fans then suggested that they get Chrishell, 41, to do the honors, as they had previously let the Selling Sunset star ink a message on their thigh.

Back in May, G Flip — born Georgia Flipo — had allowed the real estate star to ink a scrawled ‘Get Me Outta Here’ on their thigh.

The actress, 42, bared her toned midriff in a sporty crop top and skintight leggings as she stepped out into the sun, warding off the California rays with a visor and shades.

Olivia died Monday at the age of 73 surrounded by family at her California ranch after withdrawing from the public eye as her health deteriorated.

She had a roller-coaster 30-year battle with breast cancer, which she was first diagnosed with in 1992 and which came back in 2013 and 2017.

During her life she was an enthusiastic advocate for breast cancer research, even trekking over 228kms along the Great Wall Of China as a fundraiser to build a cancer and wellness center in Melbourne, where she was largely raised.

In 2020 Rebel embarked on a Year Of Health and lost almost 80lbs – nearly a decade after she starred with Olivia in the Australian comedy A Few Best Men.

After news of Olivia’s death spread around the world, Rebel, her fellow Australian, shared a touching Instagram post in memory of her.

She wrote to Olivia: ‘You were the most gorgeous lady inside and out, you are a true Aussie icon and to play your daughter on screen in A FEW BEST MEN was beyond an honour.

‘Seeing you star in the huge Hollywood blockbuster GREASE with your natural accent was so instrumental to me as a little girl, helping me to believe that it was possible for an Aussie girl to star in huge international musicals.’

Rebel went on to star in major Hollywood musicals herself when she became a scene-stealing presence in the Pitch Perfect films.

In her post about Olivia she recalled: ‘You were the reason I auditioned for my high school production of GREASE at 15 – I was only in the chorus, but it was a start!’

Rebel added: ‘You tried to teach me about health years before I took it seriously. You were so kind to me and it was such a blessing to know you Olivia.

‘I’ll never forget us singing at the piano in our lunch break on set together – what a complete legend you are! I am so sad you are gone Love and Light always to you ONJ, Rebel xoxo’.

Earlier this year Rebel revealed that her staggering 80lbs weight loss was inspired by her desire to eventually become a mother.

For years she has been candid about the fact that she was looking at the prospect of freezing her eggs, which was an influence on her decision to slim down.

Covering People this May, Rebel revealed that a fertility specialist ‘looked me up and down and said: ‘You’d do much better if you were healthier.”

Although her reflex response was to think he was ‘so rude,’ she eventually came to the conclusion the doctor ‘was right. I was carrying around a lot of excess weight.’

She has insisted her fitness journey ‘wasn’t a goal to get to a certain weight. It was just being the healthiest version of myself.’

Rebel, who is 5’3′, has previously credited Vivamayr, a luxury medical center and holistic retreat in Lake Altaussee, Austria, for her astonishing weight loss journey.

Now she has revealed that the process of improving her health involved ‘dealing with the emotional issues that caused me to emotionally eat, and that’s a process. You cry a lot, analyze things. I’d never done that before.’

Vanessa Amorosi stops Sunrise interview after Olivia Newton-John’s death

Australian singer Vanessa Amorosi appeared overcome with emotion and had to bow out of her live interview on Sunrise this morning, having only just learned of the death of Olivia Newton-John.

Amorosi was booked to appear on the program to discuss her new single, having just performed at the closing ceremony of the Birmingham Commonwealth Games.

But with Newton-John’s death aged 73 after a long cancer battle being the biggest news of the morning, Sunrise hosts Natalie Barr and David Koch were keen to first ask Amorosi about her memories of the star.

“It is an incredibly sad day – Vanessa, what are your memories?” Barr asked as they crossed to the Aussie singer in Birmingham.

Stream more entertainment news live & on demand with Flash. 25+ news channels in 1 place. New to Flash? Try 1 month free. Offer ends October 31, 2022 >

“Uh… I don’t know. I don’t particularly want to think about it, because I’ll get very emotional,” Amorosi began. “I just literally had one of the highest endorphins that just happened out there (at the closing ceremony), to being extremely sad coming offstage and checking my phone. I don’t think I’ve really processed it yet.”

Koch said he’d give Amorosi a chance to “compose” her thoughts about the late music legend, and changed tack to discuss her Commonwealth Games performance and new single.

A few minutes later, and with the interview nearing its end, the hosts moved the topic of conversation back to Olivia Newton-John.

“We know it’s a sad day for you and so many people, but we wanted to show this photo from quite a few years ago of you, Olivia Newton-John and Tina Arena,” Barr said, as a photo of the three Aussie singers at the Sydney 2000 Olympics appeared on screen.

“Can you talk us through those memories, that time, Vanessa?”
Amorosi gave it her best – but soon became overcome with emotion.

“Both of these women I have looked up to since (I was) a kid… I don’t know. I’m actually very sad about Olivia, to be honest. It’s..”

With that, she bowed her head and raised her hand, signaling the interview to stop.

Barr and Koch thanked her for her time – and Barr noted how hard it must’ve been to learn the news between a live performance and a live TV interview.

“I’m horrible. I feel for her, after coming off that.”

It’s been an emotional morning on breakfast television as friends, colleagues and fans of Newton-John have reacted to the news of her death in real time, after it broke at around 5:30am AEST.

Over on Nine, veteran entertainment reporter Richard Wilkins at first held it together as he reported the sad news on Today – but later in the morning, he was overcome with emotion, sobbing as host Karl Stefanovic rushed to comfort him.

And back on Sunriseanother emotional live interview, this time on the streets of Los Angeles with Grease casting director Joel Thurm, who wept openly as he described his fond memories of Newton-John.

The British-born, Melbourne-raised entertainer had waged a decades-long battle against cancer, which returned again in 2013.

In May 2017, she announced her breast cancer had returned and metastasized to her sacrum, and in 2018, it was revealed she was again battling the disease.

In October last year, Newton-John revealed that she was battling Stage 4 breast cancer but was managing the pain with medical marijuana.

Then today came the news fans had been fearing for years: Newton-John had died at her Southern Californian ranch, surrounded by loved ones, including her husband, John Easterling, and daughter, Chloe Lattanzi.

Chloe has today paid tribute to her late mum on social media – who she just days ago referred to as her “best friend.”

Family of LA crash victim Asherey Ryan addresses driver

The sister of the pregnant woman who died in a California car crash that killed five other people said the family has forgiven the driver arrested in the fatal collision.

Sha’seana Kerr — whose sister Asherey Ryan was among the victims in the Thursday wreck — expressed sympathy for Nicole Lorraine Linton, 37, who allegedly caused the crash after she blew a red light at a Los Angeles intersection.

“I just want to tell her that we forgive her,” Kerr told news station KTLA.

“She will have to live with this for the rest of her life. That’s why she was spared. We understand it already.”

On Thursday about 1:40 pm, a Mercedes-Benz sped through a red light before it slammed into through traffic, video of the tragic crash obtained by RMG News shows.

Investigators allege that Linton – a nurse with Kaiser Permanente’s West Los Angeles Medical Center – was driving over 100 miles per hour in a 35 mph zone, Fox 11 reported.

Ryan’s unborn child, her 11-month-old son Alonzo Quintero and her boyfriend Reynold Lester all died in the collision. Lester had reportedly been driving her to a prenatal checkup at the time of the crash.

Six minors and two adults were also injured in the wreck.

In the interview Saturday, Ryan’s sister said she was her “first best friend.”

“The first person I knew. The first person I probably had a conversation with,” she said at a gathering at the site of the crash. She’s my only big sister. Every day we take our sons outside and we walk them around the block. Cada dia. The neighbors know us. Today, I had to take that walk alone with my son.”
