AMD Sets Eyes on Gamescom 2022 For Ryzen 7000 "Zen 4" & AM5 Platform Announcement

amd you have confirmed that they will be attending Gamescom this year and it looks like we will finally have the official Ryzen 7000 “Zen 4” & AM5 announcement taking place during the event.

We previously revealed the dates for when AMD will be announcing its Ryzen 7000 “Zen 4” Desktop CPU lineup and the respective AM5 motherboard platform. According to the official NDA, AMD has plans to announce the full details on the 29th of August at 8:00 PM ET which matches closely with the event itself that is to be held between the 23rd and 28th of August.

Based on the information we have, it looks like AMD will be hosting a product announcement event later this month which will focus on the specifications and prices of its Ryzen 7000 “Raphael” lineup and will also allow motherboard manufacturers to reveal the preliminary prices of their boards. As far as this event is concerned, it will take place on 29th August but you won’t get to purchase Ryzen 7000 CPUs until two weeks later.

The embargo on the AMD Ryzen 7000 Desktop CPUs & X670 motherboards reviews will lift two weeks later on 13th September followed by a full retail launch for the said products on 15th of September. To sum up the dates:

  • Product announcement: August 29, 2022 at 8:00PM ET / August 30, 2022 at 2:00AM CET / 8:00AM TW
  • Press however: September 13, 2022 at 9AM ET / 3PM CET / 9PM TW
  • sales embargo: September 15, 2022 at 9AM ET / 3PM CET / 9PM TW

Based on a previous leak from AMD themselves, it looks like there will be four SKUs on offer at the start which would include:

AMD’s first wave of 600-series motherboards would focus on the higher-end X670E & X670 designs followed by B650E & B650 products a few weeks later (around October/November). The new CPUs will feature a brand new Zen 4 core architecture which is expected to deliver up to 8% IPC, >15% ST (Single-Threaded), and >35% MT (Multi-Threaded) performance improvement over the Zen 3 cores . Anne Heche's son mourns mother after shock crash death

Anne Heche’s son has paid tribute to his mother saying the family had lost “a kind and most joyful soul, a loving mother, and a loyal friend.”

In a statement Heche’s son, Homer Laffoon, 20, wrote: “My brother Atlas and I lost our Mom. After six days of almost unbelievable emotional swings, I am left with a deep, wordless sadness.

“Hopefully my mom is free from pain and beginning to explore what I like to imagine as her eternal freedom.”

Last Friday, Heche was in a car that was traveling at a high speed when it ran off the road and collided with a residence that became engulfed in flames, Los Angeles Police Public Information Officer Jeff Lee told CNN at the time.

One week after the crash, Heche is “brain dead” but remains on life support, according to a statement from her family and friends and shared with CNN by their representative.

Under California law, due to her condition, Heche is considered legally dead.

Heche has not been taken off life support so they have time to determine if she is a match for organ donation, according to the representative.

“We have lost a bright light, a kind and most joyful soul, a loving mother, and a loyal friend,” the earlier statement from the family said.

“Anne will be deeply missed but she lives on through her beautiful sons, her iconic body of work, and her passionate advocacy.

“Her bravery for always standing in her truth, spreading her message of love and acceptance, will continue to have a lasting impact.”

Heche suffered a severe anoxic brain injury, which deprives the brain of oxygen, as a result of the crash, according to the family’s representative.

A woman inside the home at the time of the crash suffered minor injuries and sought medical attention, according to Lee.

In their message on Thursday, Heche’s family and friends thanked her care team at the Grossman Burn Center at West Hills hospital and paid tribute to Heche’s “huge heart” and “generous spirit.”

“More than her extraordinary talent, she saw spreading kindness and joy as her life’s work — especially moving the needle for acceptance of who you love,” the statement read.

She rose to fame on the soap opera “Another World,” where she played the dual role of twins Vicky Hudson and Marley Love from 1987 to 1991.

She earned a Daytime Emmy Award for her performance on the show.

He followed that success with numerous films, including “Donnie Brasco,” “Wag the Dog” and “Six Days Seven Nights” opposite Harrison Ford.

In more recent years, Heche has appeared in television shows like “The Brave,” “Quantico,” and “Chicago PD”

Following the crash, there was an outpouring of support for the actress from the Hollywood community.

Her ex and former “Men in Trees” co-star James Tupper, with whom she shares one of her two sons, wrote on Instagram: “Thoughts and prayers for this lovely woman, actress and mother tonight Anne Heche. We love you.”

Ryan Tillotson, the producer of Heche’s podcast “Better Together,” said in a statement she was “irreplaceable” and will be remembered for “her big heart, her commitment to the people she loved, and the fearless way she fought for what she believed in.”

“More than a beloved host, Anne was my friend, collaborator, and a damn good actress. Anne added life to every room she entered with her tremendous energy and welcoming presence,” Tillotson said.

Erik ten Hag said he wanted to substitute his entire Manchester United team at half-time after a humiliating 4-0 defeat to Brentford.

Manchester United conceded four times in the first 35 minutes at the Gtech Community Stadium and ended the day at the bottom of the Premier League table.

Ten Hag replaced Luke Shaw, Lisandro Martinez and Fred after a dismal first-half performance but the Dutchman, who is the first United manager to lose his first two competitive games since John Chapman in 1921, said he wished he could have axed his whole starting XI.

“I subbed three but I could’ve changed them all,” said Ten Hag.

“We want to bring some fresh energy in the game, so not specific to the ones we sub because I don’t think that’s honest to them.

“I think we all have seen the game and I think Brentford was more hungry. We have to question that and we will do in the coming hours. You can have a good plan but we had to put the plan into the bin.”

Afterward Ten Hag faced questions about his tactical approach after his team were caught in possession trying to pass out from the back for Brentford’s second goal.

The United boss suggested he would not change his style after a second successive defeat but admitted his team had been “naive.”

“I don’t want to play from the back when it’s not possible,” he added.

“It was naive how we played today. You have to play more directly.

“We attracted them, the space was high up the pitch, you have to do that option but that is what we didn’t do. We will learn, we will have to learn, it’s not good enough and it’s not the level and the standard of how we want to act.”

It was a day to forget for David de Gea, who first let Josh Dasilva’s shot squirm under his body and then played a part in a shambolic attempt to play out which ended with Mathias Jensen making it 2-0.

“I think I cost three points to my team today to be honest,” De Gea told Sky Sports.

“After the first mistake and the second it was very tough for the team to get playing. It was a horrible day.

“We should react better but in the moment we are living now it’s tough every time we concede a goal. I should have saved the shot and probably the result will be different.

“We are not like other teams that concede one goal and they win 5-1 or 6-1. It doesn’t matter if they make a mistake. This is why I think today I cost three points. Because it was an easy save and it was 1-0 for them and I already feel the team was going down, down, down.”

Aussie tourist arrested after illegally riding a moped through Pompeii heritage site

An Australian tourist has made international headlines and was labeled a “barbarian” after he was arrested for riding through a UNESCO world heritage site in Italy.

The male tourist, aged 33, was charged with “unauthorized access” by police after he drove a moped for almost two kilometers through the ancient ruins of Pompeii in the country’s south.

Italian police allege the Aussie man rode through the world-famous archaeological park via a service gate following the entry of cars from construction companies.

Security and guards apprehended the man before any damage was done to the 2000 year old site following a series of CCTV footage.

“The route taken is a dirt road outside the ancient city walls, used by site vehicles for excavation works,” the park said in a statement.

“It is safe, restored, and not accessible to the public. So there was no danger for either visitors or for the archaeological heritage at any point.”

The man claimed he was unaware he drove through the ancient site – which was destroyed in 79AD following a volcanic eruption.

The UNESCO world heritage site does not allow tourist vehicles to drive through.

No parts of the ancient city were accessed or damaged by the tourist, however Italian media has slammed the man, labeling him as a “barbarian”.

Saints Row File Size for PS4, PS5 Revealed, Pre-Load Starts Aug. 21

The Saints Row file size for PS4 and PS5 has surfaced, and it seems that the PS5 version is once again a tad smaller thanks to new compression tech available on Sony’s next-gen console.

The size has been unearthed by PlayStation Store data scraper @PlayStationSize, and lists the Saints Row file size to be exactly 60,394 on the PlayStation 4, and 53,546 GB on the PlayStation 5. In addition to that, the pre-load date has been tagged as August 21 as well.

However, for PC, the game’s official system requirements seem to indicate the game will in fact require at least 50 GB in free disk space. Xbox console players can also expect the game to be at least similar in size on the Xbox One to that on the PS4, and on the Xbox Series X/S to that on the PS5.

This week she announced – via a personal essay published in American Vogue- that she will stop playing tennis competitively.

She has played little in the last couple of years, but this announcement made her official withdrawal from competition.

At 40 – nearly 41 – she wants to have another baby (she has a daughter Olympia, four).

“I definitely don’t want to be pregnant again as an athlete,” she wrote.

Even Serena Williams’ body won’t let her be pregnant and play tennis the way Serena Williams is expected to play tennis.

The language she used to announce the decision was important, as was the forum in which she announced it.

She wrote the story herself, accompanied by iconic pictures where she looks like a sort of Olympian mother-goddess, her little girl hiding in the folds of her flowing gown.

Williams said she didn’t like the word “retirement” because it didn’t feel modern to her.

Instead, she used the word “transition” and said she was “evolving away from tennis”.

She was open about the disappointment and frustration that accompanied her decision.

“Believe me, I never wanted to have to choose between tennis and a family,” she wrote.

“I don’t think it’s fair. If I were a guy, I wouldn’t be writing this because I’d be out there playing and winning while my wife was doing the physical labor of expanding our family.”

What do you do when your incredible body, which has given you one of the greatest sporting careers of the contemporary era, starts making demands of its own – demands that are non-negotiable? No advance in gender equality can alter the inexorable decline of female fertility with age.

And what lesson can we lesser mortals take from this rueful withdrawal by Williams?

Some commentators have said it shows that women can’t have it all, after all. Not even the most soaringly brilliant and driven ones.

But I am not sure any woman who has tried combining motherhood and paid work; blissed-out baby years and economic security; she has ever been under the illusion that “having it all” was possible.

Perhaps the public resignation letter is yet another advance Williams had made on behalf of us, lesser women.

Historically, it has been dangerous to openly lament the frustrations and limitations of female biology. Female bodies – while miraculous – also let us down and impede us in ways that men don’t experience.

But we daren’t talk too openly about it – it feels a little like we are giving over to our enemies. “See,” the chorus might say, “You thought you could do it. You tried, but you’re just not up to it, physically. There’s nothing to be done!”

But Williams’ essay rejects that fear. It forms part of an emerging feminism that is concerned with the physical, lived experience of women in their bodies, and how those bodies interact with a society that is still built for male bodies.

Open conversations about the practical and social consequences of menstruation and menopause have begun, particularly in relation to workers.

These conversations are being led by younger women who refuse to feel shame about bleeding, and older women tired of being ignored by a medical and economic establishment that expects them to silently endure sometimes-excruciating physical experiences.

Progressive companies are introducing menstrual leave, and governments and health authorities are having frank conversations about the impact of menopause on older women in the workforce. Female tennis players have started speaking about the “mental stress” of the all-white Wimbledon dress code, praying they don’t get their period during competition.

Female body business is no longer something we have to hide or pretend away.

This is the ultimate third (fourth?) wave feminist dream: not just that women will be allowed to take an equal place in society, but that society itself will become more feminised, and meet them halfway.

But Williams’ made it clear she accepted her body’s ultimatum very reluctantly.

“I hate that I have to be at these crossroads,” she wrote.

This reluctance is contrary to the marvelous spirit of resistance she embodies on the court and off.

The most interesting part of the fashion essay is when Williams talks about her anger, and the stubborn contrarianism that urges her to prove her critics wrong.

Just reading it made me want to punch the air. It’s an underdog’s mantra: “There were so many matches I won because something made me angry or someone counted me out.

“That drove me. I’ve built a career on channeling anger and negativity and turning it into something good.”

She also has a great line on hostile media: “No matter what you say or what you write, you’ll never light a candle to me.”

There is much talk about “the great resignation” but as a friend of mine remarked: “Maybe Serena’s had the great realization.”

That realization is the one that comes to all of us – that there is a season for everything, and it’s OK to say that, sometimes, that really sucks.

If livestreamers can be proud of something, they have always found new alternatives to traditional controllers that are unique and innovative. From using the Ring Fit Adventure ring to selling the Elden Ring bosses with only bananas, streamers have seemingly found everything they can to save difficult games with nothing but their controllers.

Taking a recorder of the early high school musicians, DeanoBeano pushed this niche community a step further and positioned him on the guitar, which he used to play video games. The streamer quickly became viral after an instant clip of himself playing Minecraft with the odd controller set-up shared by Daily Dose of the Internet.

Even though DeanoBeano has not discussed this idea thoroughly, it’s clear that specific notes or finger placements control certain game inputs. This isn’t the first time the livestreamer has hooked up unconventional controllers, since DeanoBeano has previously used drums and guitars as well as guitars as well to play a wide variety of games.

Minecraft isn’t the only game DeanoBeano flexed his recorder strength, as the streamer claimed an impressive, highlight reel worthy collateral double kill in Call of Duty. Since DeanoBeanos is very rapid and rapid on the play, it seems obvious that if anyone joins the popular FPS, it appears more than likely to be able to play.

The Pokemon Company has started to distribute members of Ash’s current Pokemon team. From now until August 25th, Pokemon fans can get Ash’s Dracovish by using the code GANJ0UAG0882 in the Mystery Gift menu of the game. This is a Level 80 Dracovish with the moves Fishious Rend, Dragon Rush, Ice Fang, and Water Gun. It also comes with the ability Strong Jaw, which increases the strength of Fishious Rend. Keep in mind that Fishious Rend doubles in power when its used on a Pokemon before it attacks on a turn, so players should find ways to make sure that Ash’s Dracovish goes first in order to boost its naturally strong move to killer levels. The Strong Jaw ability also boosts its Ice Fang attack, making it extra effective as a Dragon-type counter.

Ash’s Dracovish is the first Fossil Pokemon owned by Ash. It is an enthusiastic Pokemon with a tendency to nibble on Ash’s head when it’s not in battle, but it’s also a competent battler that has become a powerhouse in battle. Ash’s Dracovish has a strong friendship with Ash’s Sirfetch’d, which will be distributed at a later date to players.

The livery which Greg Murphy and Richie Stanaway will compete with as a wildcard at this year’s Repco Bathurst 1000 has been revealed.

Boost Mobile Racing powered by Erebus today lifted the covers off the #51 ZB Commodore at the team’s open day in Dandenong.

Both drivers were present for the unveiling of their New Zealand-inspired Great Race livery.

The color scheme is similar to the wildcard’s test livery, though according to the team the design “has switched its black PPG base for Metamark wrap featuring silver ferns.”

Murphy and Stanaway will take part in their third and final test day this Tuesday at Winton Motor Raceway.

“It looks awesome. It’s very different to what we had last year but I knew that it would change, and the print underneath looks awesome,” said Murphy.

“The inclusion of the silver fern is a nice touch and I’m sure it’s not only appreciated by us but will also be appreciated by the Kiwi fans.

“Today’s open day is a great opportunity for us to not only see the fans and showcase our new livery, but to reward everyone who has been behind this concept from the start.

“Today is part of the journey really, it’s all been fan-driven from the very start, and we are very humbled by the support.”

Stanway added: “I think the livery looks great and it’s awesome that we’ve been able to show it off for the first time to our supporters in real life.

“I’m feeling really good heading into the next test day after what was a successful first test in June.

“Hopefully we can build on that and get straight into more advanced work after our first test was used to try and familiarize ourselves with the car. I’m looking forward to it.”

Last year’s well-documented efforts to field the wildcard at Bathurst were spoiled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

“It’s great to have Richie and Murph back in Australia for the launch of the Boost Mobile Bathurst 1000 wildcard livery followed up by another planned test day at Winton,” said Adderton.

“This has always been about the fans, and today is for them. Boost Mobile would like to thank Erebus, the sponsors and the fans for believing in this with us.”

This year’s Bathurst 1000 takes place from October 6-9.
