WWE legend Virgil has made the starting claim that he has slept with one million women.
The 60-year-old, real name Michael Jones, was a star of the squared circle back in the 1980s and 90s.
But during an appearance of The Breadstick Diaries podcast, host Vinny Vegas read out questions from viewers – one of which received an astonishing response.
The former professional wrestler was asked: “What’s your number Virgil, how many girls?”
To which he incredibly replied: “I don’t know, maybe like… worldwide? Probably a million.”
Host Vinny immediately questions Virgil’s claim, saying: “Virgil, come on, a million?”
But the former WWE star doubles down on the number, adding: “Yep, you’ve got like how many people in the world?”
A gobsmacked Vinny then says: “So you’re claiming right now, you’re telling me, your estimated number of women you had sex with is a million?”
And Virgil concludes by insisting he may well have done.
However, social media was not convinced by the ludicrously high number.
And one person replied to the clip by breaking it down mathematically.
They said: “Okay, I did the math: Virgil was born April 7, 1951.
“For him to have been with 1,000,000 women, that’s an average of one women every 37.5 minutes of his entire life since birth.”
While another added: “I did the math as well over 40 years of wrestling. About 60 or so a day lol.”

Lake Mead, a federal park as well as the country’s largest reservoir, has unveiled yet more secrets as human remains were discovered at Swim Beach on Saturday, officials said.
The find was reported in the late morning at the Lake Mead National Recreation Area, the National Park Service said in a statement. Park rangers cordoned off the area while Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department divers helped with recovery, it said.
It was the fourth time since May possibly decades-old remains have been reported at the lake located in Arizona and Nevada 30 miles southeast of Las Vegas. The discoveries include the following:
May 1: Remains were found in a barrel. A victim had suffered a gunshot wound and his or her demise might be dated to the 1970s or early ’80s based on clothing, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said.
May 7: Remains were found in another barrel discovered along a shoreline, officials said.
July 25: Remains were reported at Swim Beach.
The Clark County Medical Examiner is responsible for determining identities, where possible, and cause of death.
A July 6 discovery of remains near the reservoir’s Bolder Islands turned out to be the body of a woman who had gone missing after she fell off a jet ski June 30, authorities said.
Authorities and experts say the four discoveries of possibly much older remains could be the result of the lake’s receding waterline, which has dropped its telltale white “bathtub ring,” made of drying minerals, more than 170 feet since 1983. The reservoir is at about one-quarter of its capacity.
In May, the Southern Nevada Water Authority announced that one of its water supply intakes was exposed to the lake’s descending surface and could no longer be used to draw liquid. The authority said it had long planned for the event, and had a deeper intake ready to take over.
Nearly continuous drought in major regions of the West and Southwest has plagued the Colorado River since at least the dawn of the millennium. Other symptoms have included the mighty Colorado’s longtime failure to reach the Gulf of California until last year, when a binational agreement put water back in Mexico’s delta.
The growing Southwest’s dependence on the Colorado River — which feeds taps and helps grow food for an estimated 33 million people — has also played a role in the lake’s shrinking presence. Last year the federal government announced mandatory water cuts for the seven states that use the Colorado.
In June, Lake Mead’s surface elevation was measured at 1,044.03 feet, its lowest since the lake was filled in the 1930s. In July, that number was bested by a new low: 1040.92 feet.
Some observers have speculated that the lake could reveal some long-held secrets buried by mobsters who killed for power and money in Las Vegas in the decades following World War II.
Historian and Mob Museum Vice President Geoff Schumacher told NBC News affiliate KNSV of Las Vegas that it was unlikely the mob would dump bodies so close to town because it was averse the kind of publicity and law enforcement attention that might have created.
“The mob doesn’t want murder victims to be found in the city because it creates bad publicity in a tourist town,” he told the station in July.
However, Schumacher said in May a body in barrel is a different story.
“A barrel has a signature of a mob hit,” he said. “Stuffing a body in a barrel. Sometimes they would dump it in the water.”
Lake Mead was created by Hoover Dam, completed in 1935 and officially opened the next year. It held up the Colorado River’s flow through Black Canyon and pushed water into four basins that can help it hold two years’ worth of the river’s flow.
Australian motorists are being urged to take advantage of falling petrol prices and fill up now to make the most of the “lowest levels we have seen for some time” before it is too late.
Prices across the nation last week were down almost 20 per cent from their July peak and experts say more price relief is on the horizon.

The national average pump price fell by 8.1c to $1.73 per liter last week, down from a recent peak of $2.12 in the first week of July.
National Roads and Motorists’ Association’s Peter Khoury said Australia was nearing the bottom of the price cycle, but warned it could soon jump back up.
“They’ve been falling now for several weeks in accordance with the price cycle, but they have definitely fallen to levels we haven’t seen for some time,” he told 7NEWS.
Khoury said Sydney had hit its cheapest average price since April, reaching $1.62 on Monday.
“We are almost at the bottom of the cycle,” I explained.
“But also, we know oil prices have been falling steadily since hitting those high points that we saw in June.
“The average in the middle of June for regularly unleaded in Sydney was $2.19. It’s now at $1.62. That gives you an idea of how much oil prices have failed.”
While motorists will welcome the relief at the pump, Khoury says it is not clear how long it will last.
“The falls are highly volatile,” he said, adding “we have no idea whether they’re going to be sustained long term.
“What we do know is that over the last two or three weeks it’s been pretty consistent, driven largely by concerns about the global economy.”
While it has taken about 50 days for prices to fall this low, Khoury says, it will only take a few days for them to jump back to the top.
“That’s just the unfortunate reality of price cycles nationally is that when they go down, they go down very slowly, and when they jump, they absolutely skyrocket,” he said.
“So at some point in the coming days, possibly later this week we will see that price cycle turn. And that’s why it’s really important for (motorists) to fill up today or tomorrow.
“Keep a very close eye because you’re going to see lots of service stations are below a $1.60.”
As for when motorists will see cheap prices again, Kheary says it depends on how long the next cycle is.

Melbourne Storm has bolstered its forward ranks by extending the contracts of two current top 30 squad members and adding a new face.
Back-rower Eliesa Katoa will join Storm from the Warriors on a two-year contract, while Tui Kamikamica and Tepai Moeroa will continue with deals that will expire at the end of next season.
Katoa, 22, has played 42 NRL games for the Warriors after making his debut in round one of the 2020 competition.
He was one of the standout rookies of that season, lining up in 13 games and scoring six tries as a hard-running edge forward.
Katoa played 18 games last season and another 11 so far in 2022.
He will link up with his new cub at the start of pre-season.
Kamikamica (Storm player #181) has become one of the mainstays of Storm’s forward pack, logging a career tally of 65 NRL games, half of those coming in the last two seasons.
The 28-year-old, who first came to Storm via feeder club Sunshine Coast Falcons, has also played 13 times for Fiji.
Moeroa (Storm player #215) joined Storm from the NSW Waratahs midway through the 2021 season and has now played 12 matches in the purple jersey to take his NRL total to 124 games.
He made a strong start to 2022, playing in the opening eight rounds before being sidelined by a fractured scapula.
It’s hoped that Moeroa, who has resumed contact training, will be back on the field before the end of August.
The Republican matchup in the Wisconsin governor’s race on Tuesday features competing candidates endorsed by former President Donald Trump and his estranged vice president, Mike Pence. Democrats are picking a candidate to face two-term GOP Sen. Ron Johnson for control of the closely divided chamber.
Meanwhile, voters in Vermont are choosing a replacement for US Sen. patrick leahy as the chamber’s longest-serving member retires. In Minnesota, US Rep. Ilhan Omar faces a Democratic primary challenger who helped defeat a voter referendum to replace the Minneapolis Police Department with a new Department of Public Safety.
What to watch in Tuesday’s primary elections in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Vermont and Connecticut:
WISCONSIN
Construction company co-owner Tim Michels has Trump’s endorsement in the governor’s race and has been spending millions of his own money, touting both the former president’s backing and his years working to build his family’s business into Wisconsin’s largest construction company. Michels casts himself as an outsider, although he previously lost a campaign to oust then-US Sen. Russ Feingold in 2004 and has long been a prominent GOP donor.
Establishment Republicans including Pence and former Gov. Scott Walker have endorsed former Lt. Gov. Rebecca Kleefischwho along with Walker, survived a 2012 recall effort. She argues she has the experience and knowledge to pursue conservative priorities, including dismantling the bipartisan commission that runs elections.
With Senate control at stake, Democrats will also make their pick to take on Johnson. Democratic support coalesced around Lt. Gov. Mandela Barnes beats in the race, when his three top rivals dropped out and threw their support to him. He would become the state’s first Black senator if elected.
Several lesser-known candidates remain in the primary, but Johnson and Republicans have treated Barnes as the nominee, casting him as too liberal for Wisconsin, a state Trump won in 2016 but lost in 2020.
Four Democrats are also running in Wisconsin’s 3rd Congressional District, a seat that opened up with the retirement of veteran Democratic US Rep. Ron Kind. The district has been trending Republican, and Derrick Van Orden — who narrowly lost to Kind in 2020 and has Trump’s endorsement — is running unopposed.
MINNESOTA
Democratic Gov. Tim Walz faces a little-known opponent as he seeks a second term. His likely challenger is Republican Scott Jensena physician and former state lawmaker who has made vaccine skepticism a centerpiece of his campaign and faces token opposition.
Both men have been waging a virtual campaign for months, with Jensen attacking Walz for his management of the pandemic and hammering the governor for rising crime around Minneapolis. Walz has highlighted his own support of abortion rights and suggested that Jensen would be a threat to chip away at the procedure’s legality in Minnesota.
Crime has emerged as the biggest issue in Rep. Omar’s Democratic primary. She faces a challenge from former Minneapolis City Council member Don Samuels, who opposes the movement to defund the police and last year helped defeat efforts to replace the city’s police department. Omar, who supported the referendum, has a substantial money advantage and is expected to benefit from a strong grassroots operation.
The most confusing part of Tuesday’s ballot was for the 1st Congressional District seat that was held by US Rep. Jim Hagedorn, who died earlier this year from cancer. Republican former state Rep. Brad Finstad and Democrat Jeff Ettinger, a former Hormel CEO, are simultaneously competing in primaries to determine the November matchup for the next two-year term representing the southern Minnesota district, as well as a special election to finish the last few months of Hagedorn’s term.
CONNECTICUT
It’s been roughly three decades since Connecticut had a Republican in the US Senate, but the party isn’t giving up.
In the GOP primary to take on Democratic Sen. Richard Blumenthalthe party has endorsed former state House Minority Leader Themis Klarides. She’s a social moderate who supports abortion rights and certain gun control measures and says she did not vote for Trump in 2020. Klarides contends her experience and positions can persuade voters to oppose Blumenthal, a two-term senator who in May registered a 45% job approval rating, his lowest in a Quinnipiac poll since taking office.
Klarides is being challenged by conservative attorney Peter Lumaj and Republican National Committee member Leora Levy, whom Trump endorsed last week. Both candidates oppose abortion rights and further gun restrictions, and they back Trump’s policies from him.
VERMONT
Leahy’s upcoming retirement has opened up two seats in Vermont’s tiny three-person congressional delegation — and the opportunity for the state to send a woman to represent it in Washington for the first time.
Democratic US Rep. Peter Welch, the state’s at-large congressman, quickly launched his Senate bid after Leahy revealed he was stepping down. Leahy, who is president pro tempore of the Senate, has been hospitalized a couple of times over the last two years, including after breaking his hip this summer.
Welch has been endorsed by Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and is the odds-on favorite to win the seat in November. He faces two other Democrats in the primary: Isaac Evans-Frantz, an activist, and Dr. Niki Thran, an emergency physician.
On the Republican side, former US Attorney Christina Nolan, retired US Army officer Gerald Malloy and investment banker Myers Mermel are competing for the nomination.
The race to replace Welch has yielded Vermont’s first wide-open US House campaign since 2006.
Two women, including Lt. Gov. Molly Gray and state Senate President Pro Tempore Becca Balint, are the top Democratic candidates in the race. Gray, elected in 2020 in her first political bid, is a lawyer and a former assistant state attorney general.
The winner of the Democratic primary will be the heavy favorite to win the general election in the liberal state. In 2018, Vermont became the last state without female representation in Congress when Mississippi Republican Cindy Hyde-Smith was appointed to the Senate.

A Melbourne dentist has denied deceiving the public, after her clinic was found to be receiving glowing five-star online reviews from patients that likely do not exist.
it eats like this A Current Affair can reveal the extent that consumers are being fooled by bogus testimonials.
Whether you are hiring a plumber, booking a restaurant or looking for a doctor, chances are you have first checked out the online reviews.
In an interview with A Current Affair, Gorgeous Smiles principal dentist Dr Minoo Ghamari denied ever purchasing online reviews and claimed blackmailers may be responsible to try and discredit her business. (Nine)

But according to analysis from the World Economic Forum, Australians splurge around $900 million per year on online products and services that are influenced by fake reviews.
Kay Dean, a former United States federal investigator turned online detective, linkend online reviews to the “wild west” where there was “no Sheriff.”
After her own experience with a dodgy medical practice, Dean set up the Fake Review Watch YouTube channel, where she calls out the unscrupulous practice.
To illustrate how it works, Dean found a dental clinic in Melbourne’s CBD with a five-star Google review based on more than 1300 reviews.
One apparent patient of Gorgeous Smiles Dental, “Joan Milstead”, uses a photo of a man on her Google account.
Publicly-available information on the Google profile reveals around the same time “Joan” also left a review for a door shop in Los Angeles.
A week later the same account reviewed an Indian restaurant in Canada, and then a convenience store in Paris.
A reviewed spreadsheet compiled by Dean revealed out of 32 recent Gorgeous Smiles reviewers, 21 of those, including “Joan”, also the same car yard in the US state of Illinois.

Following a five-start review from a supposed patient who claimed to have broken a tooth on the weekend, the clinic replied online: “We’re so glad that you had (sic) been satisfied with our service.”
When asked about this, Dr Ghamari said it was one of her patients she “squeezed” in herself.

But when pressed about why the account, using a photo of Scottish actor Gerard Butler, was also reviewing businesses on the other side of the world, Dr Ghamari said she didn’t “remember him by name because he wasn’t my patient”.
Since Dean exposed the clinic’s issues and following further questions from A Current Affair, hundreds of reviews have disappeared from the Gorgeous Smiles Google page.
Social media giants not doing enough
“I’m a single investigator using no automation and the amount of fraud I’m finding is just shocking,” Dean said.
The former US investigator took aim at the social media giants for not doing enough to self-police their platforms.
google told A Current Affair it last year removed more than 95 million policy-violating reviews.
“Our automated systems and trained operators work around the clock to monitor for suspicious behavior,” it said.
A quick search on Facebook revealed a number of groups selling, buying and trading fraudulent reviews.
Facebook ignored multiple requests for comment.
Right now, if Google takes down phoney reviews from a business’ page, consumers would have no idea.
That’s something Dean wants to change, urging the social media giant to place a disclaimer on accounts that have had reviews removed.
Consumer watchdog cracking down on fakes
In a statement to A Current Affair, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said it was illegal for businesses to mislead consumers.
“Manipulative or deceptive advertising and marketing practices in the digital economy” was a “key priority” for the watchdog over the coming year, it said.
In a statement to A Current Affair, the Australian Competition and Consumer Commission said it was illegal for businesses to mislead consumers. (Nine)
The regulator said it would focus its compliance efforts on businesses that manipulated online reviews to convey a false impression about them or their competitors, third parties such as marketing companies engaged in the misconduct as well as looking at the role of online platforms and review sites in preventing and removing fake reviews.
The ACCC pointed to court action it had previously taken against businesses, including online marketplace HealthEngine.
It was ordered to pay $2.9 million for misleading patient reviews and patient referrals.
when A Current Affair notified medical regulator AHPRA of the Melbourne’s dentist’s fake reviews, a spokesperson said laws prohibited it from commenting about specific cases but illegitimate health reviews could “cause harm to the public if it results in poorly informed healthcare choices”.
“This conduct may be grounds for disciplinary action in relation to a practitioner’s registration such as placing conditions on their registration to prohibit all advertising,” the spokesperson said.

How to spot a fake review
According to experts and consumer authorities A Current Affair you have spoken to, consumers should be wary of reviews that:
Criticize a product or business while promoting another
Feature the same testimonial multiple times or under different names
Are posted by “professional reviewers”, including those who review many businesses from different parts of the world
Sound like advertising or use words consumers would not usually use
Use celebrity or stock images
Are extremely positive or extremely negative
Are posted in quick succession
Dean said until consumer protection authorities took the issue seriously, it was buyer beware.
“My advice to consumers is actually to disregard online reviews all together,” Dean said.

LG is today announcing two new sets of wireless earbuds. First up are the Tone Free T90 buds, which now become the company’s flagship pair. They still have the signature bacteria-killing UVnano charging case. And like the previous Tone Free FP9, the case can also double as a Bluetooth transmitter, letting you run an aux cable to devices that might lack wireless connectivity — like a treadmill — and still use the earbuds like normal.
According to LG’s press release, the noise-canceling T90s have “a new internal structure with larger drivers that helps generate deeper, more satisfying bass.” But what’s more interesting is that they support Dolby Head Tracking “across your favorite content and devices.” Here’s how LG describes that experience:
Dolby Head Tracking recalibrates the sound as users move their heads for a more natural sound experience. Listeners will feel like they are in the center of the scene and experience a whole new level of audio immersion whether they are listening to music, watching movies, enjoying favorite streaming series or playing video games.

LG claims that “the T90s are the first wireless earbuds to feature an audio virtualizer designed by Dolby specifically for earbuds” that makes for better immersion and dimensionality to the sound. Apple’s AirPods and Beats earbuds support head tracking spatial audio, as do Samsung’s Galaxy Buds Pro, Buds 2, and Buds Live. Google is planning to add the same feature on its Pixel Buds Pro later this year. In all cases, the audio changes as you move your head around. The T90 earbuds promise up to 9 hours of battery life (with adaptive ANC turned off), plus another 18 hours from the charging case.
LG calls its stability fins “SwivelGrip.”Image: LG
The company is also making a play for the fitness crowd with its new Tone Free Fit (TF8) earbuds. Like other workout-focused buds, these have soft, silicone fins to help ensure they remain in your ears securely even during vigorous exercise. They’re rated IPX7 for water resistance, a step up from the IPX4 in the T90s, and include hybrid ANC. Battery life is also slightly higher, at up to 10 hours of continuous playback.
LG unfortunately hasn’t announced pricing for either pair of earbuds, but they’re both set for release in September.
The film, including signature duets of summer nights and You’re the One That I Want with Travolta, remains one of the most successful films of all time, earning more than a third of a billion dollars at the US box office.
In the film, which co-starred Stockard Channing and Didi Conn, Newton-John played an Australian schoolgirl transplanted into Rydell High School in America.
For Newton-John and Travolta the film laid the foundation of a lifelong friendship, the pair intermittently reuniting on concert stages and at special events to perform the movie’s signature songs.
Travolta was among the first to pay tribute to Newton-John publicly.
“My dearest Olivia, you made all of our lives so much better,” Travolta wrote in a post to his Instagram account.
“Your impact was incredible. I love you so much. We will see you down the road and we will all be together again. Yours from the moment I saw you and forever! Your Danny, your John!”
Later, Newton-John evolved musically with more emotionally complex work, such as the albums warm and tender and Stronger Than Before.

She also shifted her focus into healing and wellbeing, following a much-publicized battle with cancer, starting the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund.
In the statement posted to her official Facebook account, Newton-John’s family have asked that donations be made in her memory to the fund.
Newton-John received an OBE in 1979, and in 2019 was made a Dame Commander of the Order of the British Empire knighthood, though the title Dame Olivia did not fall into everyday usage.
She was admitted to the Australian Recording Industry Association Hall of Fame in 2002; in 2019 she was made a Companion of the Order of Australia.

Newton-John was married twice; first to actor Matt Lattanzi in 1984, who she had met on the set of the film Xanadu. The couple had a daughter, Chloe, in 1986 and divorced amicably in 1995.
In 2008, Newton-John married businessman John Easterling in an Inca spiritual ceremony. The couple bought a home on Jupiter Island, Florida, but never moved there. They later bought a horse ranch in the Santa Ynez Valley, outside Santa Barbara.
Newton-John is survived by Easterling, daughter Chloe Lattanzi, sister Sarah Newton-John and brother Toby Newton-John.
She is also survived by her children and nephews Tottie, Fiona and Brett Goldsmith; Emerson, Charlie, Zac, Jeremy, Randall, and Pierz Newton-John; Jude Newton-Stock, Layla Lee; Kira and Tasha Edelstein; and Brin and Valerie Hall.
It appears a forlorn chase for Alpine to try and rescue the relationship with their junior driver Oscar Piastri and the recriminations are now beginning. The Formula One contracts board have ruled McLaren are entitled to contract with Alpine’s former driver and the French junior stated publicly he “will not drive for Alpine next season.
Alpine tried to play two drivers off against each other offering Fernando Alonso just a 1 year extension then an opportunity in Renault Sports Cars. Alonso wanted a longer F1 contract so while the 31st July deadline on Alpine’s option to sign the Spaniard approached, he was setting up a deal with Aston Martin.
On the 1st of August Alonso made his announcement and set panic running through their Alpine management. They shortly afterward claimed Piastri would replace Alonso only to discover this was not going to be the case.
Mercedes blocking new F1 engine suppliers
Team principal Otmar Szafnauer admits to El Confidentialhe expected Piastri to show more loyalty to the team.“I expected more loyalty from Piastri,” Szafnauer said in an extended rant.
“He should have it with that team that has taken care of him, that has taken him to the World Championship and, above all, that during the last year has put him in a Formula 1 car so that he would be ready, so that he would know the circuits.
“I expected more loyalty from Oscar than he is showing. I started in 1989 in Formula 1 and I’ve never seen anything like this.
“And it’s not about Formula 1, it’s about integrity as a human being. It could happen in ice hockey or soccer, it doesn’t matter. But you don’t do that.
“He signed a piece of paper, a document, saying he would do something different.
“For me, the way I grew up, I don’t need to sign a piece of paper and then have someone say, ‘You’re lying, because you signed this.’ For me, if you say, ‘Hey, help me, I’ll help you tomorrow,’ there’s no way I would go back on my word. No way.
“You did everything I asked you to do and now I promise you that if you do this, I will do this. I don’t need a piece of paper where it says, ‘With a clause, I can get out of here’.”
Otmar Szafnauer reveals that he has had plenty of interest in the vacant Alpine seat.
“Let’s spend some time studying where this takes us. And if Piastri is not in the car – which I think he will be, because Fernando is out, I have like fourteen phone calls from drivers who are interested.”
“The Alpine seat is the most valuable one left,” he said.
It’s bizarre Otmar believes there is still hope Alpine can land Piastri, but he restates;
“We had a contract with Piastri and we have to understand where he takes us legally. We believe, and that is why we issued the statement, that we have a binding contract.” said the Romanian.
McLaren slammed over Ricciardo treatment
There is clearly a huge resentment towards Piastri after Alpine have invested big money in their development.
“Let’s see where we are legally with Oscar. We have a contract, which he says that we should support him in his career until Formula 1 by investing a lot of money, ” Otmar bemoaned.
“But, above all, we must take into account last year we put a single-seater on it and it covered 3,500 kilometers. We’ve done seven independent tests with it and this isn’t cheap. Only the cost of an engine is 1,750,000 euros.
“The mechanics, the team that has managed those tests, the flights and trips… We have spent a lot, a lot of money on Piastri to prepare him for the future and, if that future is not with us, it is logical and fair that we seek compensation.”
