The search for missing Manchester girl Harmony Montgomery is now a homicide investigation, law enforcement officials said Thursday.Attorney General John Formella said investigators now believe that Harmony was killed in early December 2019. 'Valorant' Patch 5.03 Notes Reveal Major Chamber Nerfs And Introduces New Bugs

Riot Games has revealed the patch notes for Valorant update 5.03, which reveal some major nerfs to Chamber, and somewhat strangely, introduces some bugs the developers are already aware of.

Chamber has been the bane of many Valorant games in recent times, with almost everyone agreeing that his kit has been a little bit too strong for a while now. Now the time has come for some nerfs, and the Valorant development team is pretty confident they have done just that.

“As players in both ranked and pro play have mastered Chamber, his strengths have started to overshadow his weaknesses, making the counterplay to Rendezvous and his arsenal not as effective as we’d hoped,” the dev team said in the patch notes. “He’s Chamber’s overall strength has also felt outsized, and we believe that we can reduce the complete power of his kit while still keeping him competitive with the rest of the roster.”

His Rendezvous has been particularly hard hit, with an increase of 10 seconds to its cooldown and a significant decrease in the size of the ring, which should mean he has to play a little safer and less aggressive. Elsewhere the slow on both Trademark and Tour De Force has been decreased from 9.5 seconds to 6, and his ultimate from him now requires an extra point to activate. The final change increases the cost of his Headhunter bullets from 100 to 150, which combined with the increased ultimate cost, should bring down the frequency he can use his most valuable assets from him.

Other agents that are being changed in patch 5.02 include Neon and Jett who, along with Chamber, now have to deal with decreased damage to limbs when they use their ultimates, but increased damage when they hit a head. If you compare this to how pretty much every other weapon works in Valorant it makes sense to bring them in line.

There are a few bug fixes that aren’t all that important, but strangely patch 5.03 is adding more bugs that Riot already knows about. It’s all for a good cause, as the Valorant engine is being upgraded to Unreal Engine 4.26, giving the development team access to some new tools, but it does mean that there may be some UI-related bugs that pop up. The good news is that Riot is already on the case and they should be fixed pretty soon.

It may not be a massive update all things considered, but the Chamber nerfs will certainly be good news to everyone apart from Chamber mains, and the changes to certain ultimates set a good precedent going forward.

Lind Fire fully contained after destroying several homes, seriously injured firefighter recovering | News

LIND, Wash. – After destroying 14 structures Thursday, the Adams County Sheriff’s Office (SCSO) said the Lind Fire is now fully contained.

ACSO said the firefighter who was airlifted to Spokane is now home with his family and recovering.

Local crews are mopping up and monitoring hot spots.

In a statewide briefing, Washington Department of Natural Resource (DNR) officials said the Lind Fire is not yet contained but is “looking really good.”

DNR said firefighting progress is moving in the right direction and they are optimistic that there will be no more damage to structures.

All evacuations have now been lifted for the Lind Fire, after 14 structures, including six homes and eight other structures, were lost to a quick-moving wildfire. Officials say the fire is now contained and under control, but crews will work through the night to make sure it doesn’t spark back up.

State fire assistance was put in place to support local firefighters who are working to contain it. Ground and air support responded to the fire.

The fire started on the south side of the town and began approaching homes. Adams County Sheriff’s Office (ACSO) and Washington State Patrol (WSP) crews are helping with evacuations.

Highway 395 was closed in both directions as well as SR 21 but has since been reopened.

The Red Cross was assisting displaced people at the Ritzville Elementary School.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.

Wave 2 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s ​​Booster Course Pass might have just dropped. But wait, stop your engines. Why not go and check out Coconut Mall before diving into the new courses?

Why would you want to do that, you ask? Well, Nintendo might have brought in Wave 2 today, but it’s also confirmed that it’s updated one of the courses that came in Wave 1.

In both the Wii version and the Mario Kart Tour version of this fan-favorite track, there are cars towards the end of the course that can drive into your character and knock you out. A bit unsporting, but it became pretty iconic. You could shove opponents into them, and it made for a little twisty, turny driving towards the end of a lap. This wasn’t present when Coconut Mall debuted in Deluxe in March, and lots of fans weren’t happy about it:

But Nintendo has taken note, and alongside these new courses, the Big N has gone back and updated the course to make those Shy Guys drive those cars! You go, Shy Guys. We believe you can hit all of our foes.

They don’t move in exactly the same pattern that they have done in previous versions, but we’re pleased that Nintendo has gone back and updated this track with this much-requested feature.

We’ll add that one back into the rotation then!

Update: Nintendo has waved the checkered flag! Wave 2 is now ready to race for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe owners in all regions! Get on over to the track, get your updates downloaded, and pull up at the starting line.
