Jane Fonda recently discussed her regret of getting a face lift in the past as she grew older.

The talented 84-year-old actress has been in the Hollywood scene for decades, and recently starred in the hit series, Grace And Frankie.

In an interview with Vogue published on Tuesday, the star openly admitted she had gotten a face lift, but wouldn’t repeat the procedure.

The Book Club actress appeared in a recent H&M Move campaign, which prompted Jane to sit down with Vogue to discuss the new collaboration. The collection of ‘movewear’ items is set to be available on August 4.

Amidst the interview, the award-winning star talked about her face lift when on the topic of aging.

‘I had a facelift and I stopped because I don’t want to look distorted. I’m not proud of the fact that I had one,’ she stated.

The 9 To 5 star also added, ‘Now, I don’t know if I had it to do over if I would do it. But I did it. I admit it, and then I just say, okay, you can get addicted. Don’t keep doing it. A lot of women, I don’t know, they’re addicted to it.’

Jane touched on how aging didn’t have to be scary, and that she wanted to bring awareness that there are ways to age in both positive and healthy ways.

‘I want young people to stop being afraid about getting older. What matters isn’t age, isn’t that chronological number. What matters is your health.’

‘I’m almost 85, but I don’t seem that old,’ she explained. ‘So getting young people to stop being afraid of being old, helping people realize that just because you’re a certain age doesn’t mean you have to give up on life…’

The Oscar-winning talent explained how grateful she was that she is still healthy for her age.

‘I mean, every day when I get out of a car, I thank the goddesses that I have strong thighs, that I’ve worked out to keep strong thighs,’ she said.

Jane has reflected on aging before, and in an interview with Glamor earlier in May, she explained that she wanted to have no regrets as she continued to grow older.

‘One of the things that I knew for sure is that I didn’t want to get to the end with a lot of regrets, so how I lived up until the end was what was going to determine whether or not I had regrets,’ the star stated to the publication.

‘It totally changed the way I thought about myself and about how I wanted to live the last third of my life. And I realized the importance of being intentional about how we go through life.’

The talented actress continues to be active and works out, from simple walks in nature to fitness routines.

‘When you get older, you realize that staying healthy is joyful and critical because age isn’t so much chronology. You can be very old at 84, which is my age, but you can also be very young,’ she told Glamour.

Jane began acting on the Broadway stage, with her Hollywood career kicking off in the 1960s, starring in successful films such as Sunday In New York (1963) and Barbarella (1968).

She won two Academy Awards for Best Actress in the 1970s, garnering various other nominations and awards in the years to follow.

Aside from being passionate to being on the big screen, the star has had a love for dance and fitness for years.

Jane released her very first exercise video in 1982, which went on to be the high-selling VHS in the 20th century.

An image of Jennifer Hawkins looking barely recognizable at the beginning of her modeling career has left fans scratching their heads.

This week, an image of Jennifer’s 2004 Ralph magazine cover resurfaced on Instagram influencer watchdog account Celeb Spellcheck.

The racy photo was taken months after Jennifer won the prestigious Miss Universe pageant, and showed the blonde posing suggestively in a skimpy red bikini.

Many users commented on just how different Jennifer looked, with one writing: ‘Wow Jen Hawkins is unrecognizable!’

‘It doesn’t even look like her’, another user agreed, while someone else added: ‘There is no way that’s Jennifer Hawkins – really?!’

At the time of her Ralph photo shoot, Jennifer sported pencil-thin eyebrows and had much thinner-looking lips.

She has since adopted a fuller, more natural-looking eyebrow style and now sports a noticeably fuller pout – perhaps thanks to clever makeup techniques.

Jennifer has been the subject of plastic surgery rumors for years, but has never discussed whether she’s gone under the knife.

In 2018, Beverly Hills plastic surgeon Dr. Randal Haworth offered his expert opinion on Jennifers’ evolving look, telling Daily Mail Australia at the time: ‘I often see pretty girls like Jennifer wanting to fine-tune their features to enter ‘supermodel’ territory .’

According to Dr. Haworth, who has not treated Jennifer himself, she has invested in some minor improvements to ‘improve facial balance as a whole’.

‘Most people would scratch their heads as to how a former Miss Universe could possibly improve upon her already-idolized face,’ he said.

‘Her new and more glamorous appearance has been helped by a rhinoplasty to refine and elevate her nasal tip while narrowing her asymmetrical nasal bones.’

Despite being a household name for more than 15 years, Jennifer has hardly aged a day and is arguably more beautiful now than she was in her early twenties.

Dr. Haworth believes that the former Myer ambassador has indulged in ‘fillers to her cheeks and other areas of her face’, as well as Botox.

‘I strongly suspect she also underwent lip augmentation for added sensuality and improved facial balance as a whole,’ he added.

In 2010, Jennifer attributed her drastic change in appearance to healthy eating, exercise and makeup.

‘Women get better with age, because they are more confident with themselves. It’s all about makeup and health,’ she said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show.

Jennifer has previously danced around the topic of plastic surgery when quizzed on her age-defying looks.

In 2014 she told The Australian Women’s Weekly that it was the nature of the fashion industry to be accused of having cosmetic surgery.

‘When someone says ‘under the knife’ I don’t have a reaction,’ she said.

‘Everyone in the industry gets that. That’s fine. I’m cool with that. I’m cool with people having an opinion, but as I said, I am happy with who I am as a person and really just want to live my life.’

In 2016, the former Australia’s Next Top Model judge claimed it was a personal choice if people wanted to invest in plastic surgery.

She told The Daily Telegraph: ‘Each to their own!’

Two of Australia’s most controversial influencers have reportedly cut business ties following a string of public relations gaffes.

Mummy blogger Sophie Cachia and haircare entrepreneur Mia Plecic announced last year they were launching a ‘gender-neutral’ cosmetics brand together called Aisuru.

Cachia, a former footy WAG who famously left her husband and became engaged to a woman in 2020, previously found success with her eponymous pajamas brand and multimedia company Shaw Media.

Mia is known for her multimillion-dollar hair products company, Slick Hair Co.

But this week, Cachia announced that Aisuru was now ‘a one-woman show’, apparently confirming Plecic had left the business.

Outspoken the Podcast, which documents the misadventures of social media stars, speculated this week that the pair’s friendship had also broken down.

Tellingly, Plecic has removed all references to Aisuru from her social media bio and also unfollowed the brand on Instagram.

The former business partners have also unfollowed each other’s personal accounts.

Plecic has since released a statement to Daily Mail Australia that seemingly contradicts Cachia’s claim about Aisuru being a ‘one-woman show’.

‘I am still a Director of AISURU and an equal shareholder to Sophie. I just took a step back as Slick Hair Company is going through huge international growth and I need to focus on the brand that is growing,’ Plecic said.

Aisuru has been plagued by controversy since its launch earlier this year.

In February, Cachia was called out for practicing poor hygiene while conducting a ‘quality control’ exercise on her new lipstick line.

Cachia had filmed herself rubbing her nose with her bare hand while checking individual lipsticks from her Aisuru range that were due to be sent out to customers.

Aisuru subsequently issued a statement acknowledging this was ‘not best practice nor aligned with our policies’.

The hosts of Outspoken, sisters Amy, Sophie and Kate Taeuber, also speculated this week that Plecic’s controversial views on Covid-19 and vaccine mandates possibly drove a wedge between the business partners.

In June, Plecic sparked outrage by comparing Australia’s vaccine mandates to the overturning of Roe v. Wade by the US Supreme Court.

The court’s ruling ends the constitutional right to abortion across America, meaning individual states can now decide whether abortion should be legal.

Reacting to the landmark decision, Plecic wrote on Instagram: ‘Why is it okay to be pro-choice about one human right but not the other?’

Many people who oppose Covid vaccine mandates call themselves ‘pro-choice’, borrowing the popular slogan used for decades by advocates for legal abortion.

However, the use of the term in the context of vaccines is highly controversial, with women’s rights activists saying the two issues cannot be compared.

‘The same people who are against freedom of choice with mandates are the same people who are screaming freedom of choice about abortions,’ added Plecic in her post.

The entrepreneur, who made headlines last year for sharing anti-lockdown and anti-vaccine views on social media, continued: ‘It doesn’t work like that. Freedom of choice regardless of your narrative.’

Her ‘pro-choice’ post was soon picked up by Instagram watchdog account Aussie Influencer Opinions, which warned customers of Plecic’s haircare company they were supporting these views by buying her products.

Plecic soon received a wave of backlash online, with major online retailer Showpo reportedly vowing to remove Slick Hair Co. products from its store.

Aussie Influencer Opinions posted a screenshot purportedly showing an anonymous user messaging Showpo’s official Instagram account asking why the company stocked a product ‘with such a problematic company owner such as Mia Plecic’.

A Showpo customer service representative replied: ‘As a brand we will not be renewing our partnership with Slick Hair Company to stock their products on our website and we’re effectively exiting out of this brand.’

Reacting to Plecic’s Instagram post, one fan exposed the logical fallacy at the heart of her argument with: ‘Covid is contagious and pregnancy is not. Simple really.’

Another agreed: ‘Wow… to compare those VERY DIFFERENT things is just next level. How embarrassing.’

Plecic subsequently doubled down on her controversial stance, uploading another post thanking the ‘500 people’ who’d reached out to her to express their agreement.

She also used this post to clarify that she is pro-choice when it comes to abortion.

She made her final cameo in the last ever episode of Neighbors this week.

And after the last episode of the iconic Australian soap aired, Holly Candy was spotted having lunch at Scott’s in London on Monday.

The actress and singer, 39, looked effortlessly glamorous in an asymmetric striped blouse, tucked into a pair of skinny jeans.

Holly styled her daytime look with a heart-shaped padded Chanel bag with a chain strap, while also wearing a pair of oversized cat eye shades from the brand.

Holly, who was joined by a female pal, wore her blonde locks in a loose straight style and opted for a subtle coat of make-up in natural tones.

The two women were seen leaving the famous Mayfair seafood restaurant before getting into a car which had been waiting outside.

Images from Neighbors filming showed Holly looking ageless as they returned to film the soap’s highly anticipated series finale in London.

Holly posed with Natalie Imbruglia, 47, who also pursued a pop music career after her exit from the show, and they wore matching pink Neighbors hats.

Natalie shared the selfie on Instagram alongside several other snaps, including pictures of her playing Beth Brennan in the ’90s.

She captioned them: ‘Such a laugh filming Neighbors final episode with Holly Candy in London.

‘I have so many happy memories from my time on Neighbors and I wouldn’t be where I am today without it! End of an era.’

On the show, Beth married Brad Willis, played by Scott Michaelson, and was the mother of Ben Hall’s character Ned Willis, though they never appeared on screen together.

Meanwhile, Holly, who is married to billionaire property developer Nick Candy, starred as Felicity ‘Flick’ Scully from 1999 to 2002.

She was last seen on screen in 2005 and now lives in Hollywood.

The actors-turned-pop stars weren’t the only special guests who returned to Ramsay Street on Thursday evening to say goodbye to the soap after 37 years on air.

The characters Harold Bishop (Ian Smith), Shane Ramsay (Peter O’Brien), Izzy Hoyland (Natalie Bassingthwaighte) and Mike Young (Guy Pearce) all featured heavily in the show’s swansong.

They were joined by returning favorites Joel Samuels (Daniel MacPherson), Joe Mangel (Mark Little), Amy Greenwood (Jacinta Stapleton), Nina Tucker (Delta Goodrem) and Des Clarke, memorably played by Paul Keane.

Kylie Minogue, best known for playing Charlene Robinson, and Jason Donovan, who played Scott Robinson, also reprized their roles, as did Melissa Bell, who portrayed Lucy Robinson.

Holly’s younger half-sister Olympia Valance, who portrayed Paige Smith, was also involved in the finale.

They were joined by Jane Harris (played by Annie Jones), Donna Freedman (Margot Robbie) and the ghost of the late Madge Bishop (Anne Charleston).

Neighbors announced in March that production would cease on the long-running soap due to lack of financial backing after losing their ‘key broadcast partner in the UK’, Channel 5.
