Katharine McPhee and her husband, David Foster, were spotted in each other’s company during an outing in Beverly Hills on Wednesday afternoon.

The 38-year-old singer and the music industry executive, 72, looked very much in love as they shopped on Rodeo Drive. The happy couple, who have been married for three years, are currently enjoying the early stage of parenthood with their one-year-old son Rennie.

These images have surfaced just after McPhee said the crime is so bad in Los Angeles that she can’t wear her jewelry when out on the town.

‘We need Rick Caruso,’ Kat wrote on social media as she noted that the spike in crime is due to politicians woke up.

‘I blame every single woke voter. Seniors getting beat up in [Beverly Hills] whilewalking. Keep voting for this. What a sad state this city is in.’

McPhee wore a stylish all-beige outfit that included a low-cut top worn underneath a loose fitting button-up shirt.

The American Idol runner-up also rocked a pair of comfy elastic waistband shorts that showed off her sculpted legs and a pair of running shoes.

She accessorized with several articles of jewelry that added an element of glamor to her casual-cool look.

Her wavy beautiful brunette locks were worn down and she looked radiant with minimal makeup.

Foster donned a white button-up shirt and some slim fit gray jeans while spending time with his much younger wife.

The now-married couple initially sparked dating rumors after being seen together in 2017 though they’d first met during McPhee’s American Idol stint in 2006.

McPhee was previously married to Nick Cokas, although they divorced in 2016.

Foster is no stranger to marriage as he first tied the knot in 1972 with BJ Cook. They share a daughter named Amy, aged 49.

Foster went on to welcome daughters Sara and Erin, aged 41 and 39, with his second wife, Rebecca Dyer, who he wed in 1982.

He later tied the knot with Linda Thompson in 1991, though they eventually divorced in 2005.

The entrepreneur subsequently married Yolanda Hadid in 2011, and their marriage ended in 2017.

Foster and McPhee announced their engagement in 2018. The happy couple went on to hold a wedding ceremony in London the following year.

The pair became parents when they welcomed their son Rennie David, aged one, into their lives last February.

McPhee previously told Entertainment Tonight that she was making the most of her early years of motherhood.

‘You have your moments where you get over-tired and frustrated, but it’s just so precious because it’s just a moment in time that is not going to last forever, so, in my perspective I just cherish,’ she said.

Foster shared a heartwarming video of Rennie to his Instagram account on Wednesday.

In the clip, the music industry executive’s son was seen playing with a drumkit-esque toy while his mother looked on.

The entrepreneur also penned a short message that read: ‘Is this normal for a 17 month old?

The apple doesn’t fall far from the tree for Flynn Busson, the son of billionaire Arpad Busson and supermodel Elle Macpherson.

Flynn, 24, was the spitting image of his financier father, 59, as he shared a picture of himself steering the same speedboat that Arpad, drove him around in as a toddler.

Supermodel Elle, 58, dated Arpad from 1996 until they spilled in 2005, they also share another son, Cy, 19.

Taking to Instagram, Flynn penned: ’22 years apart… 2022, 2012, 2000,’ alongside three photos of himself aboard the boat.

While the first two images were of Flynn driving the boat himself, the third from 2000, showed him sat on his father’s lap as they took to the sea together.

Arpad has recently been seen looking cozy with the Countess of Mornington Jemma Kidd while holidaying in St Moritz, however he has remained friends with Elle after their split.

Both Elle and Arpad were present when Flynn graduated from Boston University last year after studying finance and real estate, with the model sharing family photos to Instagram.

‘Where did the time go? You boys are a credit to your selves, and your dad and I are so in awe of the men you have become,’ she penned at the time.

Licensed pilot, Flynn divides his time between London, New York and Miami and has a very close relationship with his mum.

In an interview with Vogue Australia in 2019, he detailed: ‘I know everyone says that about their mum, but it really is true. My mother has always been so incredibly devoted to me and my brother.’

‘I always knew we were her number-one priority,’ Flynn added. ‘It has shone through everything from the way she chooses her jobs from her to the way she cooks dinner.’

He said he was grateful for how his mother was always there for him growing up, despite her extremely busy schedule.

MasterChef fan favorite Julie Goodwin has announced her new ambassador role after her stint on the cooking show.

On Friday, the 51-year-old revealed she’s now an ambassador for Beyond Blue’s first signature fundraising event, Big Blue Table.

The cause is no doubt important for Julie, who has been open about her battle with mental health in the past.

‘Big Blue Table brings together two of my favorite things – cooking for friends and family and sharing meals and conversation at the table!’

‘Along with the mental health benefits of getting a group together over a meal, all funds raised during Big Blue Table go to Beyond Blue’s 24/7 Support Service.’

Julie has been open about her battle with anxiety and depression following her drink-driving arrest four years ago.

‘[My mental health] was a massive discussion when I was asked to do [MasterChef],’ the cookbook author explained.

‘I didn’t just say yes. I talked to my family, I talked to my psychologist, and it was a decision that was made in a very considered way because at the end of the day, I didn’t want to be back at the bottom of a dark place,’ she continued.

The mother of three, who spent five weeks at a mental health facility in 2020, worked out a coping strategy in case things became too mentally taxing.

‘They’ve worked around the filming schedule to allow me to still have my psychology appointments and to get out early in the morning to do my exercise. They touch base with me constantly to make sure I’m okay,’ she said.

Edwina Bartholomew has spoken about the trials and tribulations of her growing family.

The newsreader, 39, has ‘happily’ returned to the Sunrise desk after welcoming her second child – son Tom – in March, but is still trying to navigate raising two kids under the age of three.

‘I’m repeatedly told that moving from one to two kids is the most challenging step,’ she said in her latest column for the Daily Telegraph.

Edwina said she thought she had ‘child one down pat’ as her daughter Molly, two, was ‘finally sleeping through the night’.

But following the arrival of Tom, the Sunrise newsreader said her daughter is battling the terrible twos.

‘Our gentle, girl morphed into a monster within a few weeks and I frankly struggled to cope,’ she said.

‘There was food on the walls, full-blown tantrums on the floor, screaming and that was just me.’

Despite it being the ‘most challenging period’ of her life, Edwina said it has also been ‘the most beautiful’.

‘Although her cuddles border on suffocation, his little face lights up when he’s on the receiving end of one of her aggressive squeezes.’

Edwina returned to Channel Seven’s breakfast show Sunrise this week after taking five months’ maternity leave.

On Monday, Edwina, who was previously a roving weather presenter before being promoted to the news desk, said it was ‘lovely’ to be back in the studio.

She was joined by co-anchors Natalie Barr and David Koch, while sports reporter Mark Beretta provided updates on the Aussie swimmers at the 2022 Commonwealth Games live from Birmingham, England.

‘It’s been such a lovely five months,’ Edwina said.

‘We’ve had such a lovely time as a family unit, so it was a bit sad to leave them at home, but also lovely to come back to work.’

Natalie added: ‘Eddie has come back to work for a rest, like most new mums! He it can be much more restful at work than at home.’

‘At such a difficult time for so many, many people, we hope Tom’s little face puts a smile on yours.’
